Netanyahu channels Churchill and says Israel will “finish the job” — 27 Comments

  1. “there can be a demilitarized Palestinian state.”

Just like the one on October 7th.

  2. The possibility of national extinction is, like the prospect of hanging in the morning, a powerful inducement to clear and cogent thinking. Go, Bibi. Do the necessary. As Franklin said, and I paraphrase, those who would purchase a little temporary safety at the cost of essential liberty will eventually have neither safety nor liberty.

  3. It deeply troubles me there is such a GLOBAL anti-semitic, anti-Israel wave. Why? Spawned how?
And Western cowardice in the face of Iran’s anti-West, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish stance. Why? Have we become 98 lb weaklings? To what end, what purpose? Because Europe has become Eurabia? Britain is 20 % Pakistani, with a Paki Muslim mayor of London, for Pete’s sake!

  4. That is certainly part of it its a post christian world in many respects its a world ignorant of the legacy of the abrahamic tradition which is the basis for christianity

  5. As long as Islam remains unconstrained or unrestrained, any sense of a “demilitarized Palestine” or “peaceful coexistence” is a lie woven from that aforementioned hallucination.

  6. Neo-
Thanks. I’m still scratching my head about Said and Foucault, that they succeeded in poisoning so many minds, almost like a resurrection of Mein Kamf. I would never read such trash.

  7. I strongly support Netanyahu’s determination to finish off Hamas. Hopefully he realizes that Hamas is just one ‘head’ of the Islamic Hydra.

“Hydra: a many-headed serpent or monster in Greek mythology that was slain by Hercules and each head of which when cut off was replaced by two others.”

  8. Those who advocate for a cease-fire say they want to “stop the killing”. As long as Hamas exists, killing will not stop.

  9. I can imagine what the US would do if the Mexican cartels lobbed 30 missiles into El Paso, 30 into San Antonio, and 40 into San Diego, and it wouldn’t involve negotiations or a “peace deal” – more like fighter/bomber strikes and maybe an invasion by the US Marines, like at Veracruz – “the halls of Montezuma”… The fact that the Israelis have been called upon to put up with this not once, but six or seven times, amazes me and shows how morally bankrupt the UN has become. Israel has every right to turn Gaza into a parking lot.

  10. ‘…they want to “stop the killing”….’

More accurately, ‘…they want to “stop [ISRAEL DOING] the killing”…’ (though, in fact, they want to stop—to prevent—Israel from defending itself…since Israel, they’ve decided is a totally illegitimate entity, having failed, for over 75 years now, to allow its enemies to destroy it).

And so, Hamas & friends doing the killing, raping, mutilating, incinerating, pillaging, terrorizing, kidnapping, hostage-taking—and especially constant LYING—is not only fine but ultra-desirable…in the name of “justice”, “morality”, “rightness”, “goodness”, “fairness”, “humanity”, “world peace”, etc….

  11. FOAF…
I’m going to keep offering the simple corrective, “As long as Islam exists unconstrained or unrestrained the killing will not stop.”
Jew hate & the command to wage jihad against non-muslims is embedded in Islam. Islam exists in perpetual war against the rest of us. Until we’re honest about that…and do something about it…

  12. streamfortyseven – Six or seven times? Israelis have been dealing with the missles more or less constantly for decades. Just because they built the Iron Dome to defeat most of these missles doesn’t change the fact that a hostile power regularly lobs missles into their most highly populated cites.

And now Biden is going to introduce a UN resolution condemning Israeal for invating the last Hamas stronghold in Gaza? The world has gone mad.

  13. No hes just the evil thug that they propped up while you complain about orange man bad
There are minion of evil people in media in ngos in govt

  14. Miracles do happen…every day?
    “Fauda star injured in Gaza celebrates birthday with followers;
“Idan Amedi, singer and actor injured in Gaza fighting, shares photo of himself following his injury, says he ‘doesn’t think he will ever comprehend’ miraculous survival and recovery.”—
    https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/385517

Or maybe it’s just that we don’t notice them…

  15. As arnold said in commando ‘i dont do requests’

So sinwar may have escaped with the hostage though el arish crossing

  16. There is NO way on Gods green earth that, if I were Mr. Netahanyu, would I stop going after the monstrous, murdering Palestinian Hamas terrorists! They need to be punished for what they did on Oct 7th. These people who want a cease fire and a 2-state solution are simply Jew-haters. NEVER AGAIN!

  17. Miguel cervantes – The tragedy is that the GOP has put Trump up to lose again so Biden will get to continue stabbing Israel in the back for the next four years.

  18. Cicero-to quote a wizened old political hand, “follow the money honey.” Our universities get gobs of money from islamists in a way they don’t from Christians. Ditto for the Chinese. Pick any other Marxist org. (University of Illinois is one I always point to for this-they are hungry for those Chinese dollars especially to subsidize their administrative stupidity at the expense of IL students wanting to be in the engineering school). And thanks to GWB and Karl Rove wanting Christian churches to get the government sugar money to in theory build up a machine to counter the left, the left instead took over the churches and are now doing “ministry” to bring illegals over the border to provide “services”-where they make a lot more compared to passing the collection plate.

  19. John Guilfoyle, yes, Islam is a danger to all mankind. But look on the bright side. Over half of Islam’s victims are Muslims. They don’t like it any more than any other sane human being.

I can’t believe what I’m reading on this blog. We’re doomed? Why? Suffer a few losses and just give up? I’m an old Rugby player. If I didn’t know how to play hurt I wouldn’t play at all. It’s no game we’re playing. But my Drill Instructor and my father, the sainted Senior Chief, wouldn’t recognize you.

How about we grow a pair.
