Money and that vast left-wing conspiracy — 26 Comments

  1. I want to comment further on the free-speech injunction which has just been sustained by the issuing judge after the Biden Administration’s appeal.

As I understand it, nothing in this ruling prevents the government from objecting to a viewpoint they disagree with, even roundly condemning it, accusing the speaker of base motives, etc.

The catch is they have to do it openly, not have a social media agent do it for them in secret!

In other words, they have the right to speak openly and even disparagingly, while they seek to constrain that right in others!

I think there has been far too much attention paid to the COVID / public health issues, where low info voters may think the government should have special rights, and not enough to the secretive restraint on general free speech that the government seeks to reserve for its exclusive use!

  2. Besides BLM as a shakedown operation on corporations, haven’t seen peep on the IRS not getting anything on their millions raked in. But sure it will all go away years from now. It’s not just the Biden Crime Family not paying taxes, BLM toke in hundreds of millions probably.

  3. This type of operation is like termites tearing down your house. You don’t realize they’re there unless you have a termite inspector do a thorough inspection. The Washington Free Beacon has done the inspection. Now what we need is a termite control operation. Unfortunately, that requires an unbiased IRS and DOJ.

The 2024 election looms ever more important.

  4. The first mistake conservatives make is to assume that the left is operating in good faith and committed to the best interests of America and Americans. They hate America, Americans and the constitution. They lie, steal and cheat. Always, constantly, relentlessly.

They believe that rules and laws are for suckers. They will use them to gain power and laugh when opponents expect them to follow them.

This is their record. The examples are endless. Facts are facts.

  5. There is no way that Soros and his rich friends would ever allow the actual people to control or influence his crusade for power. Useful puppets? Sure. Astro turf fellow travelers? Fine. But the actual power is controlled with a tight fist.

  6. The first mistake conservatives make is to assume that the left is operating in good faith and committed to the best interests of America and Americans.

I made this mistake for years. I’ve stopped. And, like stan, stop calling them liberals, they are leftists. Leftists are entirely opposed to government by and of the people. There is nothing more anti-American than that. It is, in fact, what makes America America.

  7. Anything about the SBF/FTX financial underground railroad?
(Or—rhetorical question of the day—has that already been swept under the rug…?)

Besides, “Biden” can always tax Americans to fund “his” pet projects/funds/cities/states/initiatives…
and “he” DOES, and HOW “he” does…and gets a real kick out of doing it!.
File under: President Screw ’em all.

  8. Similar dark money is funding the Left in Israel (and no doubt other countries, e.g., Hungary).
    – – – – – – – – – –
    Dark money? DARK humor:

Featuring the ambassador representing an administration that stole two elections and is trying mightily to delegitimize ITS OWN Supreme Court en route to attempting to cement its dictatorship….
    “Ambassador Nides: We’re trying to stop Israel from ‘going off the rails’ with reform;
“Outgoing US Ambassador to Israel argues the judicial reform in Israel raises questions about Israel’s democratic credentials.”—
    https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/373958

    Beyond absurdity.
    Beyond shame.
    Beyond redemption.

  9. Speaking of dark humor:
“U.S. Attorney Announces Charges Against Co-Director Of Think Tank For Acting As An Unregistered Foreign Agent, Trafficking In Arms, Violating U.S. Sanctions Against Iran, And Making False Statements To Federal Agents”—
    https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/us-attorney-announces-charges-against-co-director-think-tank-acting-unregistered

Parts of that rap sheet sound remarkably like what the Biden crime syndicate has been dabbling in for decades.

    Funny that. Darkly funny…

  10. RE: Follow the money

Who thinks the “stop oil” protesters – as well as the entire bullshit climate change scam – are not being funded by left wing, deep pocketed advocacy groups?
These leftist money center people are the same folks that run the DAVOS meetings and their one world govt. Marxist/Leninist agenda.
And I would not be surprised if they are behind the voting “anomalies” in the last presidential election and are all geared up for a repeat performance in the next elections.

Recall when President Reagan was promoting the “star wars” program, and tens of thousands of demonstrators “spontaneously” appeared in the cities of Europe to protest this policy. Turns out it was not so spontaneous and the organizers of these demonstrations were funded, surreptitiously of course, by the USSR.

I wonder if the mainstream media executives are supported by this deep pocketed
    cabal of Marxists.

  11. 47% of Democrat voters say white nationalism is the greatest threat to America.

I don’t believe that is what they really believe. I believe that Democrat voters will say whatever they are told. They recite the narrative as instructed.

I do believe that most Democrat voters regard those who disagree with them on politics with enough hatred that if they could, they would happily pass a law outlawing “white nationalism” and use it to imprison thousands of their opponents.

  12. tens of thousands of demonstrators “spontaneously” appeared

Used to do experiments at LLBL. When it wasn’t my shift I’d go down into Berkeley, where groups would advertise that they were hiring protesters. Picket lines are often manned by hired “protesters” too.

Almost every event of that type covered in the news is some kind of marketing or fakery.

  13. In the Dark Humor post above, Gal Luft is the purported “Unregistered Foreign Agent” who is the subject of “Biden” ‘s retaliation.
The case has been followed by the NY Post’s Miranda Devine and has now caught the attention of Powerline:
    “LUFT INDICTMENT UNSEALED”—
    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2023/07/luft-indictment-unsealed.php
    Here’s the NY Post article:
” ‘Missing’ Biden corruption witness Dr. Gal Luft hit with federal charges”—
    https://nypost.com/2023/07/10/missing-biden-corruption-witness-dr-gal-luft-hit-with-federal-charges/

Another instance of “Biden” Retaliation(TM), this time against IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley:
    “IRS whistleblower turns tables on Hunter Biden lawyers over leak allegation as Congress seeks probe;
“Agent Gary Shapley directly denies he leaked tax information to Washington Post or anyone else, suggests allegations are part of retaliation campaign.”—
    https://justthenews.com/accountability/whistleblowers/irs-whistleblower-turns-tables-hunter-biden-lawyers-over-leak

  14. I’ve been seeing articles about Arabella lately, but it’s hard to figure out from the articles exactly what it is and who’s behind it. It’s a foundation, or it’s a consulting firm for foundations, or it’s a network of philanthropic initiatives. In any event, it seems like it’s very powerful and well-connected.

At first, I thought the articles were about Arbella, an insurance firm. I also assumed Arbella was an old Boston Brahmin firm (the Arbella was the ship that brought the Puritans to America). It is a Massachusetts firm, but it was only founded in 1988.

  15. 1839 – 2022 “OK” (originally) slang for “Oll Korrect”

2023 – “OK” should now stand for “Obama Knew”, because he did!

  16. Gal Luft, continued:
“Not Weaponized? Biden DOJ Indicts Whistleblower Prepared To Testify Against 1st Family”—
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/not-weaponozed-biden-doj-indicts-whistleblower-prepared-testify-against-1st-family
    Key grafs:
‘…[Luft] was initially arrested Feb. 17 in Cyprus, but fled after being released on bail. He faces up to 100 years in prison if convicted.
‘ As alleged, the defendant engaged in multiple schemes to evade sanctions and laws intended to protect our national security,” said FBI Acting Assistant Director in Charge, Christie m. Curtis. [Emphasis mine; Barry M.]
    ‘ As the Epoch Times notes;
Mr. Luft had been an advisor to CEFC China Energy, and told FBI prosecutors in Brussels in 2019 that CEFC had given Mr. Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden monthly payments of $100,000 and $65,000 in exchange for using their names to promote Chinese business interests, according to the Post.
‘ Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) said on Fox News recently that Mr. Luft should have the opportunity to testify on this case before Congress.
‘ “He’s an important witness,” Mr. Johnson said.
‘House Republicans have been probing the financial dealings of the Biden family amid allegations cited by House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer that Mr. Hunter Biden received at least $15 million from foreign nationals.
‘ The House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith says Mr. Hunter Biden is alleged to have received more than $17 million from sources in Ukraine, Romania, and China….’

So who you gonna believe?…given that the FBI, as part of the DOJ, is for all intents and purposes the Biden Crime Syndicate’s Praetorian Guard…

  17. I do think the name “Arabella” is appropriate as, if I remember correctly, that was the name of Captain Blood’s pirate ship.

  18. Just because Soviet communism was subdued 30 years ago doesn’t mean the leftist obsession with bringing down America went away, it just into hiding for a while in order to regroup and plan the next set of moves.

It re-emerged a while later in several manifestations: large scale 3rd world immigration, multiculturalism, DEI, lowered standards in practically all areas of life, “anti-racism,” demonization of the country’s founding and its history, corrupted politicians and government agencies, and all the rest of it.

Watching all this happen is akin to witnessing a plane crash. Planes don’t just fall out of the sky for no good reason, and when they crash it’s almost never because only one thing went wrong. It’s usually because of a series of things going wrong all at once that overwhelms the crew’s ability to troubleshoot and take the necessary corrective measures. That’s where we are now.

  19. Sgt. Joe Friday,

Correct. And I think many of us also assumed Reaganism-Thatcherism-Pope JPIIism would be embraced by eastern Europe when the wall fell. We thought the success of those ideals would convince many the ideals were correct. What was misunderstood, I think, is many people don’t really pay attention to cause and affect, or trends. It’s just what’s happening now and who is promising what for the future.

  20. well it did up to a point, there was a reformed communist (kvasnievski) who took up after walesa, because of the shock therapy, orban now was the youngest dissident back then in hungary, the left had retaken it in the late 90s, on economics blair maintained thatchers stance while socially followed labour standards,

  21. Um, Rufus, it WAS embraced in Eastern Europe…for the most part.
It’s the West that’s been experiencing lethal problems.
It’s the West that’s being subverted by levels of across-the-board dishonesty and depredation to a degree that may even have surprised Orwell.
It’s the West that’s experiencing an attempted takeover by a combination of Fascist AND Bolshevik strategies and imperatives buttressed by cagey, amoral ideologues who’ve learned a lot from the failures of Totalitarians past.
    (Though, one hopes, not everything…)

  22. I do think the name “Arabella” is appropriate

Arabella was also the sister of John Churchill (later war hero, Duke of Marlborough and ancestor of Winston Churchill) and mistress of King James II. Arabella Churchill was an ancestress in her own right both through her illegitimate children with James II (Winston Churchill is also descended from these) and through her legitimate children with Charles Godfrey. She had 7 children who lived long to enough to have names: in the days before TV, contraception, and obstetrics women who lived tended to have a lot of children…

My guess though is that this Arabella organization is named after Winston Churchill’s granddaughter Arabella, a philanthropist who died in 2007.

  23. I think Eastern Europe largely did accept conservative politics. Their debates tend to be between national or populist conservatives and liberal free market conservatives. The Baltic countries, where religion is weaker and the influence of Scandinavia is stronger, may give more support to parties of the left, but I don’t think they want to see a return to real socialism much either.

  24. What about the Center for Tech and Civic Life with their “Zuck Bucks” in the 2020 election? Or the Thousand Currents “charity” managing fundraising operations for BLM with the convicted communist terrorist Susan Rosenberg sitting on their board of directors? Do they qualify as part of Left’s “dark money” network?
