Richard Landes on the propaganda war waged by the Palestinians — 9 Comments

  1. It’s beggers belief that so many “news” organizations evidently take so many proven terrorists claims as unvarnished truth even after all the recent events, let alone the long history of lies going back decades and decades. If Hamas (or Hezbollah or Iran or any major Islamic terrorist state or group) announced that water was wet, I would be compelled to re-confirm that personally.

  2. The “official” death toll put our by Hamas is also suspect. Actually, I don’t believe a word of what they say. But then I believe that I am a Rational Person that can separate the wheat from the shaft.

  3. Actually, the entire “Palestinian” narrative, beginning in the 1960s, is an astounding propaganda success, twisting history to suit its ends.

  4. Actually the soviets turned the wurlitzer on around 71 with arafat mazen and the other team haddad all as operatives.

  5. Why do people seem so surprised when Moslems lie to the world? I’ve been told the Koran instructs that it fine to lie to nonbelievers. Other than that, people lie all the time. Including the news media.

  6. If the leftist media did not believe that the propaganda war waged by the Palestinians served their agenda they’d ignore it and if the Palestinian’s propaganda opposed the left’s lies they’d portray the Palestinians the way they do the Israelis. Both totalitarian ideologies (progressivism and Islam) are bereft of moral principles, both rationalize their lies and both seek total power and control of everyone.

  7. The antisemitic politicization of medicine is finally getting some pushback: The Emory Winship Cancer Center in Atlanta placed a hematologist on leave for posting a pro-Palestinian bit of doggerel on social media.

“Dr. Abeer Abou-Yabis, who serves as a hematologist and assistant professor at Emory University, has been with the institution since 2018. Her photo and profile page on the Emory University website have been removed. . . . Emory Winship Cancer Institute released a statement addressing the situation, expressing deep regret for any distress that Dr. Abou-Yabis’ comments may have caused. The statement also reaffirms their commitment to providing unbiased care to their patients.”

The doc was wearing a hijab in her profile photo. You can read her “poem” at the link:
