The feds are getting out the Democrat votes — 8 Comments

  1. It does give one the feeling the vote fraud will win, and mass registration will accomplish that. They just need a name and a address, godd or bogus doesn’t matter and they can make up the ballots not received and sent.
And see in town over the street ballot box is open for business, Pa’s Primary is still 2 weeks away, it’s has been there at least a week already.
    Vote early and often.

  2. This could violate camping contribution laws. Biden is ordering people to do his campaign work on the public dime. Illegal??

  3. Just read that the governor of Maine will allow a bill to become law that gives the state’s electoral college delegates to the person that wins the popular vote nationally. This in essence disenfranchises the voters in Maine. From the same article (zerohedge?) this is not the first state to do so.
How have I not heard of this before? How has this not gone to the Supreme Court? Where are the pitchforks?

  4. Jerry:

Bills like that are old news. It’s part of a movement attempting to do an end run around the Electoral College, but the bills are written so that they don’t kick in until a enough states sign on to constitute a majority of the Electoral College votes. It’s called the National Popular Vote interstate compact. I wrote about it in in this post from 2016 and this post from 2019, as well as this post from 2010.

  5. This popular vote campaign has been going on at least Trump won.
Now flooding the country with 10s of millions comes more in focus.
And don’t think illegals are not voting.

  6. J.J. — “Illegality” only matters if someone will prosecute. Who will prosecute? The DOJ? I think not.

  7. Neo, thanks for the insights. Skip, interesting observation Re. illegal immigrants and what that will do if they reach the threshold for the popular vote campaign. So not only congressional representatives and EC delegates but also votes towards a pop vote win. Clever.

  8. Someone Else, apparently campaign finance violations can be prosecuted at both the state and federal levels.

The Bragg case against Trump is basically a campaign finance violation-based case. So, even local DAs could prosecute such violations if the case fit the law. (I’m not saying Bragg’s case does – it’s pretty dodgy, IMO.) However, a GOP DA or Attorney General in a red state might be able to bring suit against the Biden campaign for using federal employees as campaign workers when they are being paid by the taxpayers. A suit could call for an injunction to cease and desist until the courts could rule on the legality. It would at least bring to the public’s attention these improper campaign activities by Biden.

Here’s an article on campaign finance violations that shows it’s not just a federal issue.
