On rising Jew-hatred — 42 Comments

  1. This is one of those I-had-no-idea things.
I live I western Michigan. There’s no synagogue in the county. I don’t know any Jews except for those whom I knew before I retired and moved. The subject hardly arises except in studying the Old Testament.
While I know there’s Jew hate forever; more in some places and times, less in others, I am completely blown away by the (previously unimaginable) numbers, its depth, the ferocity, and the mindless energy.
Where was it hiding all these years?

  2. Communists – Europe
    Fabians – UK
    Progressives – USA

The legal firms in interviews were surprised that this hatred is coming from the progressives and the left…

    Really?

means they are following Stalin’s mantra that the chancellor was to the right

[though the fight in the beer halls was about who was the greater socialist, Lennin or the chancellor – see NYT article from the period]

Basically they be looking down the nose of anyone that helped them and for 50 years since the Shoa (plus) they been funding and idolizing and incorporating their own demise.

hard to have any sympathy for that, less the 2nd time around, eh

Shanda for the goyim is a big part of it…

Antisemitism on the left needs to be called out, too, Mr. President
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/11/02/leftwing-antisemitism-protest-bigotry-palestinians-israel/

Many people of goodwill on the left have been shocked by the outpouring of bigotry. As CNN anchor Jake Tapper put it last month, this has been “a real eye-opening period for a lot of people — a lot of Democrats, a lot of progressives — in terms of antisemitism on the left.” But while antisemitism exists across the spectrum, right-wing antisemitism is largely a fringe phenomenon. You don’t see students at Ivy League schools holding neo-Nazi rallies. Left-wing antisemitism, by contrast, is an elite phenomenon.

I worked at the jews hospital and said Cis Whites are the set, and jews are a subset of that… so if all cis whtes can die… guess who goes with them

    really simple..
hard part is to get neo and others to believe…

ask any man who has been in war, it takes a bit to get your mind around the idea that they are really out tokill you… same here.

the obvious will be ignored until it cant be
    then its way too late..

    Völkerabfälle???

Völkerabfälle is a term used by Frederick Engels to describe small nations which he considered residual fragments of former peoples..

the magyar struggle leads to whose struggle as he believed he was the magyar?

and now they are going to finish it

not like they will keep going with below replacement birth rates and no one to marry for so long. eh?

for every jewish woman in the west that has no kids cause of feminism
another one has to have five (5) – just to keep the population stable!!

below that, and the population is exterminated…
it just takes decades for it to work its way through the population

This is exacerbated by importing more people of other bases

Orthodox Jewish adults report having an average of 3.3 children, while non-Orthodox Jews have an average of 1.4 children. Roughly 70 per cent of Israel’s population can be characterized as low fertility groups, at or near replacement levels

so, eventually, all the non orthodox will be gone..
after all, having arabs and others in the population HIDES THE DECLINE

just as importing 8 million people will hide the decline of that many or more
millions coming over te border year by year, and our population isnt flying up?

Based on reports from adults of all ages, the survey finds that, on average, Jews by religion have more children than Jews of no religion (1.7 vs. 1.0), and Jews with spouses who are also Jewish have more offspring than religiously intermarried Jews (2.3 vs. 1.5).

again… if ya aint going to gety rid of what is getting rid of you
your as good as gone.. and given so many academics from there, have put so much writing into marx, socialism, and feminsm… they will exterminate before they change.

their money made their enemies the most powerful on earth
    now what?
god is laughing a whole lot now.

  3. One of Genghis Khan’s sons was recorded to have fathered 40 sons with his wife and concubines, with the possibility of having many other illegitimate children from many other women. Statistically, there could be 16 million male descendants carrying his gene

Multiply that out by all the children that were not born, aborted, or made infertile.

remove one person, like kahn, and you lose over 16 million people

and you think below replacement is not a problem for 50 years cause we aint dead yet… nah… you get diluted first if you have others to mix with… we aint condors.

Gene tests show that two fifths of Ashkenazi Jews are descended from four women / The remaining 60% were found to have much more heterogeneous genetic origins.

“As consistent with the Bible, in which the founding Jews were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and his sons, and the matriarchs were ‘imported’ from non–Jewish peoples and then converted, the haplotypes of contemporary Jewish men are much less varied.”

A new study concludes that all Ashkenazi Jews can trace their ancestry to a “bottleneck” of just 350 individuals

so kill one, and you may kill a universe and the future.. eh?

was anyone important to the future that was ended by hammas during the concert?
[normally, children would not prove their belief in peace by going into the lions den with the blessings David had]

wont take long for below replacement to knock that down and the high 3.1 plus for the arabs to just take over in time… the two state hegelian solution.

as a chinese general once said
it does not matter if you take us over… our population is so large, in a few generations your children will be chinese and then what?

if ideologies that lower birth rate are not stopped
then everything you discuss is moot.
    a waste of time

  4. This lady is one of the most compelling and articulate extemporaneous speakers I’ve ever heard.
I’d love to know what her IQ is ( and would hate to have to debate her, regardless of the subject)!

  5. Artfldgr:

    Hi again!

But I have no idea why you would say that people here – including me – find it hard to believe that the left equates whites with evil and Jews with whites. I’ve been aware of enormous Jew-hatred on the left for decades, and have also written for a long time about the demonization of whites on the left.

In 2010 I wrote about widespread anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment on the left, as I did in this post from 2011, and in many other posts. For example, in 2020 I wrote this post specifically on the “whiteness” and hatred against the Jews, on the part of the Left. And I’ve written plenty on “anti-racism” and its demonization of white people.

  6. BLM 2.0
The anti-Israeli reaction was swift & well-coordinated, almost breathtaking in it’s near universal action throughout the West.
    Just like BLM after Floyd.
    I believe they are coordinated.

  7. A very interesting article on the origins of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism and it’s connections to left wing ideology.

    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2023/12/robert-wistrich-revisited-2.php

As far a “moral clarity” is concerned in regards to the three university presidents that “could” not unequivocally denounce the extermination of Jews and Israel, it’s clear to me that those three simply hate Jews and Israel.
What is so hard to understand about this?
Their equivocation arose because they realized they could not just come out and say, “I hate Jews, I hate Israel, and all Jews should be exterminated,” so they had to make up some bullshit; the “depends on the context” bullshit.
They refused to definitively denounce the anti-Semitic statements and demonstrations on their campuses because they AGREED with the idea, and would also approve of the actual enactment, of exterminating all Jews.

What I don’t understand is why people find this so hard to believe.

Nobody would blink an eye if some Nazi said, “kill all Jews;” because one would expect them to say that.
But one does not have to be a Nazi to believe this !
You can be a university president or professor and also believe this.

  8. “We have to be very clear in extending a hand to those” who per previous stipulation were unwilling to see.”

    Ok. I tried.

But son of a b#### … will you effen listen to that.

Yeah, my first reactions to this goddamned fool were unprintable.

Among them were J. C., woman! You stupid masochistic …

    And

Ok then. FU, go suck for sympathy elsewhere you self destructive solidarity at any price miscreant.

But no. Instead, I’ll just ask: Do such people, either on the smug, self congratulating willfully blind ideologue side, or, on the masochistic let’s extend an understanding hand to our willfully insane “brethern” side, deserve any sympathy whatsoever?

    No.

They, they in particular, brought this damanable result on themselves just as much as if they had sent out party invites to a massacre and ordered free buffallo wings for anyone who wanted to watch a judicial lynching of Netanyahu while awaiting the border kick off.

So, not to hell with Jews in general, but that one and those like her. And you can toss in Episcopalians by and large, Universalists to the man or woman or whatever, and the gay Roman Catholic prelature as accomplices-adjacent if it makes anyone feel better. Because I think they are crap too and you are welcome to do whatever you like with them

So, here’s is to independent Jewish farmers, Jewish jet pilots, cowboys, masons, libertarians, doctors, lawyers who take the law seriously, the guy who mooted the question of the problem, and to every other Jew in Israel or elsewhere whose first instinct is to stand up for themselves while seeing the social world for what it is and their own part in shaping it.

But that woman at 11:30 ? Pffft

  9. I assume sorosphere outfits are behind pretty much all the street demonstrations and riots.
    ==
Israel is an example of human accomplishment. We live in an age when human accomplishment is not admired by wide swaths of our professional-managerial element and is not admired by ruined people at street level.

  10. DNW:

She is neither a fool nor a masochist. I’m not going back to listen to the entire video in order to find where she said what you quoted, about “extending a hand,” but my recollection is that she was talking specifically about those who previously didn’t see the pernicious and pervasive extent of the Jew-hated and who now finally see it. She meant that at this point they are on board.

  11. Thanks John Tyler for the Robert S. Wistrich interview. That was great.

Israel is an example of human accomplishment. We live in an age when human accomplishment is not admired…

Exactly right. It is even vilified. Just how this came to be so confuses the hell out of me.

  12. “I’m not going back to listen to the entire video in order to find where she said what you quoted …”

    No need to.

    11:30 to 13:50

Listen as she refers to that ” shed that Zionist pound of flesh and I can be a good Jew” crew who she is describing as wishing to fold her arms around.

And if you can stand that much, it might be worth bearing with it to the point where prior to 15:00 she repeatedly references the “line in the quicksand” she expects the self congatulating Zionist-flesh shedding progressive Jews who still have not gotten over their perplexity at being despised even though they are good progressive Jews, to eventually recognize.

Yeah, come to Mama, all is forgiven.

  13. All very well. But where has the huge number of more or less middle or upper middle class late adolescents on college campuses been, simmering and waiting?
    Waiting for a signal.

  14. @ the hall monitor.

The exasperation was managed. As in, “Instead, I’ll just ask …”

Since after a year of my absence you are still obviously incapable of anything more constructive, just go polish your badge.

I’ll have wrapped up here by the time you return to your little desk.

  15. Anger management fails again.

Sad but “we” are not worthy, and should not notice issues.

And in fact just returned to my desk after being in the field (nuclear drilling stuff), not philosophy or sales. TMI Cheers!

  16. Maybe not completely on topic, but related-
We often remark on the fact that Jews have been hated and attacked for 2 millennia, uniquely.
Is it possible that Jews are a unique subset of the hundreds of minorities that have been attacked over this time period, with essentially all of them having disappeared as a result of these attacks, and Jews being unique only in that they have managed to survive?
Jew being, resourceful, and intelligent, would account for their survival.
IOW, what is unique about Jews is not that they are attacked, but that they survive?

  17. In the Congressional hearing to which Michal Cotler-Wunsh – Israel’s Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism referred at the 7 minute mark regarding the Ivy schools’ code of conduct non-violations, I wish that Ms. Stefanik would have each asked, “Is calling for the genocide of blacks a context-dependent decision? Your answer?”
Then, “Is calling for the genocide of American Indians a context-dependent decision? Your answer?”
Then, “Is calling for the genocide of whites a context-dependent decision? Your answer?”
And finally, “Is calling for the genocide of Muslims a context-dependent decision? Your answer?”

Those 3 presidents might have done the KJP shuffle proud for all to see.

  18. Mightn’t Occam opine that those three university professors said what they said merely because they didn’t want to lose their jobs?
(Such is the current campus zeitgeist.)
…which is actually a pretty good reason to fire them(!!).

But whom do you replace ’em with???
(That is, are there any REAL alternatives out there?)

    File under: “Ideology for Dummies”

  19. Barry, I believe you’re right. The priority reason was for those 3 presidents to keep their jobs. And yet… If those ‘context’ questions had been asked of any other group, it would have even more potently laid bare the evil in Marxist ‘equity’.

When life becomes a circus, it’s time to go for the juggler!

  20. if you were wondering bill salovey, yales president, is equally terrible, but he was not called to the hearing, i think the campus has been going down hill since giamatti, went over as baseball commissioner,

  21. the problem is those that are playing are on the wrong side, where was Columbia,
or Cornell or Stanford, on that dais,

  22. And miguel, the tabletmag article you references Jeremiah and quotes Rabbi Sachs saying, “The Jewish people survives not by strength or by power”—though those are certainly necessary—“but ‘by My Spirit,’” says the Lord.”

But nowhere in Michal Cotler-Wunsh’s 56-minute Jeremiad against “false moral equivalency”, “sickness”, “weakness”, and “mutation” is there any mention of from where her morality arises. If her morality conflicts with the morality of Hamas, why is her morality right? If she cannot defend her morality but only assume it, a lot of folks will say, “Well, that’s just your opinion.”

  23. is faith required to fight these Old Gods in new bottles, as Naomi Wolf has recognized from Jonathan Cahn, I would say it’s very valuable but it hard to really accept unless you are forced into the circumstance,

  24. Well Bill, let’s just call it a case of Garbage In Atrocities Out.

(OTOH, maybe just maybe the GOOD news is that butchering, mutilating, raping and incinerating men, women, kids and babies has AT LEAST “evolved” into a question of “context”? That is, that it’s something to honestly, seriously, courageously “ponder”, “wonder about”, “agonize over”, “wrestle with”, “try and work out”, “attempt to resolve”, “grapple with”—you know, PROGRESS!…well, of a sort…um, er, actually, maybe not…)

  25. its still a great shock for people, as much the way people justify the evil, as with the horrid acts themselves, look at the supposedly civilized peoples in London in Paris and Berlin, behaving, towards the mobs,

  26. “…conflicts with…”

One can ALWAYS ask that question about any war—American Civil War, WWI, WWII, Cold War, etc. (and one does!…or some do); with some wise guy piping up that it is ONLY the Victors who decide ultimately which Conception/Ideology/MORAL SYSTEM is right.

As though the Nazis could ever have been “right” had they won.
    Ditto for Communism.
    Etc.

The Democrats are destroying the country to protect the country.
They are shutting down free speech to protect the country.
They are lying profusely to protect the country.
They are destroying people’s livelihoods, persecuting political opponents, uprooting education, killing the cities, harming kids, destroying the family, devastating women’s sports, elevating perversity, weaponizing the DOJ, attacking SCOTUS, blatantly—proudly!— breaking laws, etc., etc., etc., all in the name of protecting the country.
It’s a phenomenon one sees in the most retrograde (to quote Churchill) of countries and societies.

And THEY are being protected by a media that has bought whatever they’re selling.

So…if they “win”, ultimately, that makes them “right”?

  27. Oh…well…in a nutshell, it’s the Rotherhamization of Western Society.

File under: But predators must not be made to feel unwelcome…that would be most uncivil and beneath us as a nation…well, at least certain predators….

A Rotherhamization that has evolved into “We are all Hamas NOW!”

File under: “We must educate the (First-World) heathen…and spread the light to them…so as to help them eradicate their false, feverish and frivolous Western ways…”

  28. Neo, why wait until asked about the underpinnings of her morality? The problem as I see it is the current DEI tendency to think all views and all morals are equally valid. If one culture and that culture’s moral basis is no better than another culture’s, as multiculturalism preaches, then evil wins, since nothing is objectively wrong.

As Solomon said, “The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” No God = no judgment = I can do anything that pleases me with no consequences.

And as David said in Psalm 36, “Wrongdoing speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes.”

Ultimately it seems to me, to abandon the field short of warning of the judgment of God is a dereliction of duty when one starts talking about what is moral and what isn’t. And a large number of people, Jews included, who avoid discussing the spiritual element of this battle have NO secular defense against Islam. It’s cowardice to believe but not say, “You are worshiping a false god and basing your morality on false premises.” To survive this, Jews will need to abandon secularism and defend the source of their morality. This is a spiritual war.

  29. Bill K:

She has a finite amount of time in the interview. She is mainly describing the situation and discussing examples. If I were doing the same, I wouldn’t be spending time on the religious underpinnings of morality.

And I certainly don’t see why every single person of Jewish background would need to “abandon secularism” in order to defend their right to exist.

Sometimes when I write a post, a commenter asks, “Why didn’t you discuss x, or y, or z?” Those might be topics he or she thinks I should have covered. But I’m not writing books, I’m writing posts, and I always have to pick and choose what to include.

  30. Bill K at 7:12 pm: you forgot: “Is calling for the genocide of Ivy League university presidents a context-dependent decision? Your answer?”

  31. R2L, I like it!

And Neo, fair enough. Yes, it often wouldn’t be the opportune venue. But to never discuss the underpinnings of morality is a problem. So my hope is that she, and you, in other situations, are able to defend against “Well, that’s just your opinion.”

And frankly, I’m sensitized, because I’ve taught college kids and now PA students, all in their late teens to twenties, who need to learn to question and to speak up, but who seldom do whenever they sense an unpopular view. And it seems that Jews are bearing the brunt of this, as it spreads from campus to its effect on how society picks its leaders. The few Jewish students I’ve had hid their Jewishness, which does not bode well in this battle against Jew-hatred. But then I’m in Iowa. Are things different in Skokie, Illinois these days?

  32. He’s pretty darn convincing.

It’s been going on sixty years, but I don’t recall believing professors about much outside the syllabus.
We knew we didn’t know a whole lot, but I really don’t think we could be sold the current level of Jew hate.

  33. Regarding the holocaust, most of us have always wondered, “How could it have happened?”

    Well, we’re getting an education.
