Detransitioner testimony in the House — 13 Comments

  1. It’s horrific what’s been done to these people, and is being done to many others. I pray that those who have belatedly come to their senses can reestablish their sense of identity, and find their path forward.

  2. The testimony of Paula Scanlan (concerning worthless U Penn and Lia Thomas) was also very interesting. What is most dispiriting, of course, is that this madness shows no sign of abating, nor will future generations be able to comprehend this manifestation (amongst many others) of our current cultural/political insanity.

  3. The raw face of evil is what these young people faced. God have mercy on them, and his justice prevail over the liars, deceivers and destroyers.

  4. Saw a video of her some while ago, I still can’t believe the medical field is destroying kids lives to get them into the Cultural Marxism religion.
Can only hope someday they make the doctors who do this pay hard.

  5. Imagine a mother or father who would conspire with ‘medical professionals’ to mutilate their own child based on a whim they planted in their child’s mind.

Texas is another state being targeted by the Alphabet People as hostile to transitioners. Here’s a sob story about a family that left Texas out of fear that the family would be split up if the parents sought “gender-affirming care” for their child:

Susan has a 7-year-old transgender daughter, Elsa, whose parents asked that she be referred to by a pseudonym for safety reasons, who they say may one day need such care. Elsa’s parents describe her as wise beyond her years. She had expressed that she was a girl from an early age and guided her parents through her gender journey – asking to wear dresses, change her name, and to be referred to as a “daughter” by her parents. . . . Susan and her husband Brian, who asked that their last names not be used for safety reasons, decided the family needed to move out of Texas in light of the child abuse investigation threats. They say they weren’t sure how far the government would go to separate families like their own or affect Elsa’s access to care as she gets older.

Note the use of the term “genocidal” to describe Texas’ legislation.

  7. @ PA Cat > This verse is getting a lot of play these days.

    Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Not as brief, but just as relevant:
    2 Timothy 3:1-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

That doesn’t describe the majority of these parents. It is actually quite common for the children to get the idea in school, or in talking to peers, or especially online. The parents are often reluctant, but are “persuaded” to give permission by therapists telling them their child will kill him or herself if the parents don’t let them transition. Chloe Cole and many others have said their parents gave permission because the supposed “experts” in the field asked the parents, “Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?” They are basically told it’s the only way to save their child’s life.

  9. I suppose we can write off therapists’ necessity to abandon personal likes and dislikes in their professional role. They can do what they like and the field is so…um…fuzzy that none can say them nay, and, indeed, it is even evil to try.

But the people with the knives and prescriptions….

Gullible parents, or Munchausen mothers, or AWFL looking to top having a gay kid as a fashion accessory might go along with the therapist, if they have the “right” one.

But the people in the OR…..

I keep going back to the Slenderman Stabbings. Think anybody would have told the parents their kids might kill themselves if they were forbidden to murder a friend? Not certain now.

More seriously, though, some kids are vulnerable–see Slenderman Stabbings– for one or another reason and that is what needs to be addressed.
