Talking points on the left: about those Twitter files and Matt Taibbi — 11 Comments

  1. One should never forget that both Pravda-on-the-Hudson and Pravda-on-the-Potomac were granted a “Pulitzer” for lying about Russia-gate; both are now, of course, lying by omission in refusing to cover in any significant manner this massively important story (while barely reporting on the full extent of SBF’s fraud at FTX). Kristol and French (along with the loathsome and ludicrous lickspittle T Miller) have beclowned themselves so egregiously and so often as to be utterly beyond parody; this have this in common with WaPo’s dreadful duo (Boot and Rubin), along with countless other worthless (yet celebrated, wealthy and successful) “pseudo-conservatives”.

  2. Nice Erasmus.

Tucker has, on occasion, put together nice video clip montages featuring media parroting of DNC focus group tested “messaging.”

  3. I’ve told this story several times, but while I was still at the college, a very leftist faculty (he stood out back then about 15 years ago, but now would be run-of-the-mill) was bragging about before he was on a local talk radio show he called the DNC headquarters to make sure he repeated exactly the approved talking points.

  4. Musk has earned his riches with ingenuity. So did Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerburg, and Jeff Bezos. I don’t see these leftist mind-numbed robots (thanks, Ruch Limbaugh) complaining about those rich guys.

  5. New talking points on the march, directly from the White House no less (taking a page from the uncharitable leftist playbook of rhetorical interpretation, observe, if you will, the implicit threat to Elon Musk’s person!):

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday it was “not healthy” for Twitter owner Elon Musk to publish internal company files revealing Twitter’s censorship of The Post’s 2020 reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“What is happening — it’s frankly, it’s not healthy. It won’t do anything to help a single American improve their lives. And so look, we see this as an interesting, you know, coincidence, and you know, it’s a distraction,” Jean-Pierre concluded during her Monday briefing, offering a lengthy denunciation of Musk’s Friday reveal of how Twitter execs decided to suppress The Post’s damning expose.

“Not healthy”, get it? Better beef up your security, Elon. They’re coming for you. Heh.

  6. Barry Meislin:

Turley knows whereof he speaks. The same mob turned viciously on him when he testified against a Trump impeachment.

  7. Holy Moley, that “won’t do anything to help a single American improve their lives” is a real keeper!
IOW, the truth “won’t do anything to help a single American improve their lives”—nope, only OUR LIES can do that…AND our non-stop sabotage of the country and AND concerted attempts to destroy anything and everything decent. I mean, really! HOW MANY TIMES do we have to tell you fools and idiots that in order to save the country we first have to totally wreck it??

Indeed, one has truly got to LOVE all those lectures by the perverts and criminals who are firmly convinced that they are our moral “betters”…

A psycho administration…from the “head” all the way on down.
(But since they’ve developed a “KNACK” for stealing elections—LEGALLY, no less!—then it looks like they’ll be around, along with their destructiveness, for awhile.
That is, until they won’t be around…that is, when a critical mass of “The People” realize that their policy is simply and concertedly “[NOT to] do anything to help a single American improve their lives”…

Meanwhile, Matt Taibbi has this “perfect response” to the foaming-at-the-mouth, hysteria-driven mob:
