Those smart folks at Good Morning America… — 26 Comments

  1. Facts not in evidence (i think i would knaw my own leg rather than watch one of those shows) as much as one might have differences with some of marshalls future stances. One cannot deny his courage at that time

  2. If it were ignorance, that’d be one thing, but no, it’s intentional. Given that Thomas, whatever you think of him, is still alive and serving – gah. Just, gah. I no longer know what to say about leftist reality distortion. Insane would be too simple. If elections don’t work, I feel, unfortunately that other measures may very well come into play. These people are insane.

  3. They spaced out Thurgood Marshall?

KBJ is the first black woman justice on the court, but is she a wise black woman justice? She’ll need to be if she is to hang out with Sonia. Intersectional women of color need to stick together. Sorry Elena.

  4. GMA? Hey I remember watching their coverage of the aftermath of the Rittenhouse trial. They said something about how outraged the family of the people he shot were, and they immediately switched to talking to a black person. So people wonder why so many people think Rittenhouse shot black people. So this is par for the course for them.

  5. just like the MSM erased Benjamin Cardozo when they announced Sotomayor as the first hispanic justice.
quite an IQ discrepancy between those two.

  6. “Various explanations”

One more: First Black Progressive Democrat Justice.

  7. Two thoughts occur: First, that “The View” is produced under the auspices of the ABC News Division and ABC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Disney Company; Second, now that Ketanji has been elevated to The Supreme Court, she can join Sotomayor and Kagan as the new left-wing “brain trust.” Collectively, their IQ’s are still below those of Alito, Thomas, Barrett and Gorsuch individually. I look forward to the leaking of their private deliberations. It will be as if Newton, Einstein, Heisenberg and Hawking were engaging Snoop Dog, Flava-flav and Cardi B in conversation. Yucks will ensue.

  8. Often said, a lie is half way around the world before truth gets its boots on. You will find people believing this.
Went to a meeting at church Wed pm and discovered the lie about Trump on Jan 6 in the POTUS limo had been well and truly absorbed.

  9. Re Cardozo. As a matter of affirmative action law, people of Spanish or Portuguese descent are not Hispanic. Hispanics must come from Latin America and must have some Indio ancestry.

  10. As with most of all modern “infotainment” shows, the title is more correctly read as:
    “Good Riddance, America”

  11. }}} Collectively, their IQ’s are still below those of …

…. the more well educated variety of chimpanzee.

  12. TBH, having made the joke — They are all liberals. Their **IQ**s may well be quite sufficient.

Where they fail, uniformly, as liberals, is **wisdom**. They are fools, not idiots (we often use the words interchangeably, but they do reflect different failures of mental acuity).

As I have noted before, Intelligence and Wisdom are different aspects of mental capabilities — quick definition: Intellect is the capacity to learn from books, while Wisdom is the capacity to learn from experience, and there is limited connection between the two.

High metrics in one do not translate to high metrics in the other. There are wise idiots and foolish geniuses. To poster-child the latter, just look at Noam Chomsky.

If there were a “WQ” to match IQ, then most self-defined liberals would almost entirely populate the lower 1/3rd of the resultant bell curve.

  13. Competence is unnecessary if one is a liberal. Simply being liberals makes them special.

  14. It’s really not about pronouns or race or whatever. It’s about power, raw power and the attempts to obtain and keep it all in the furtherance of the political party.

President George Washington warned about it in his farewell address regarding factions. In the Federalist Papers, Madison et all warned about factions.

Yet, factions exist because we are human as noted by our Founders. The Constitution was supposed to ameliorate factionalism and it has generally done exactly that, but no system of government can ever stop it.

The Democrat party is the party of slavery and of the protection of slavery. It was an official party plank for years. The reason is that at that time, that was the Democrat’s strength. The Democrat party protected it’s own.

After the Democrat led Civil War over slavery, it’s political party strength came from nullification of the Constitution itself and, with the anti-slavery Republican party’s help (Compromise of 1877 for example), the Democrat party continued it’s adherence to factionalism with Segregation for close to 100 years, a century.

The Democrat party, though, got racial religion in the late 1950s even though thoroughly opposed Republican attempts at addressing the issue.

    Why?

Power. They saw they could use blacks as way to gain and keep power.

    Today it’s gays and transgenders.

    No difference.

Oh, both political parties in the US do this.

  15. It is not stunning ignorance, but intentional propaganda. The MSM is an arm of Biden’s neo-Goebbelism, Big Lies repeated over and over to a largely ignorant populace getting “news” from the MSM while sitting on their couches. They do not read; it is too much trouble!
And of course we have to tolerate the RINOs in the Senate, who lie and lie and lie: Cassidy, Romney, Murkowski and Collins. They compose the pretense of opposition to the now-admittedly evil and communistic Democrats. There is no place for God and unborn children among them, even as they allow the wretched migrants in in their illegal millions from grubhole countries to live off the dole, which is the future for all of us non-elites.

America is done, and done for. I am not sorry I am old, but hate it for my descendants.

  16. }}} Competence is unnecessary if one is a liberal. Simply being liberals makes them special.

Especially true, if you mean the Special Olympics meaning of the word “special”.

    😛

  17. Justice Thomas could identify as a woman, just for one day.
He would be the first black woman ever in the SCotUS, at least in the progressive universe, with great fun on our side.

  18. }}} Justice Thomas could identify as a woman, just for one day. He would be the first black woman ever in the SCotUS

This won’t work, for the simple fact that they don’t even ack that he’s black. WTF makes you think they’d ack he was a woman?

No, the blatant hypocrisy would not matter, to them.

  19. @ OBH > “they don’t even ack that he’s black”

Well, they kind of acknowledge that — because how else could they call him what they do?

(NOTE the author, Jeff Charles, is also black.)

Usually, white progressives are pretty adept at hiding their racial bigotry. But there is just something about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas that unlocks their inner Bull Connor and compels them to expose their racism. This has become even more apparent after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

Pro-abortion supporters, most of whom are white, have been rather bold in hurling racial epithets at Thomas, who wrote a concurrence to the majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito in the court’s ruling. Many used the “N-word” with impunity. Here are some examples:
    ….
What is even more interesting about this is that Twitter has not yet bothered to censor any of these blatantly racist postings. We already know what would happen if a bunch of white conservatives posted tweets with racial slurs against someone like Stacey Abrams, right? They would not only be deleted but those posting the epithets would likely be permanently banned.

Nevertheless, this just further illustrates that those on the far-left who claim to be champions for racial minorities and warriors fighting against racism tend to have more in common with David Duke than they would care to admit. Indeed, if you doubt this, just look at some of race grifter Robin DiAngelo’s work.

This story also reminds me of Malcolm X’s comments on racism among white liberals and conservatives. He criticized both, but noted that “the white liberals are more dangerous than the conservatives; they lure the Negro, and as the Negro runs from the growling wolf, he flees into the open jaws of the ‘smiling fox.’”

In one of his speeches, he said:

“The white liberal differs from the white conservative in one way. The liberal is more deceitful and hypocritical than the conservatives. Both want power. But, the white liberal has perfected the art of posing as the negro’s (sic) friend and benefactor.”

After the hoopla over Thomas has subsided, these progressive types will return to their fox-like ways, thinly concealing their beliefs about black inferiority requiring their white savior mentality to swoop in and save black folks. While they may not make it a habit of calling us the “n-word” publicly, they will never stop treating us as such – especially when we do not agree with what they believe is best for us.
