Giuliani on authenticating the Hunter Biden emails — 47 Comments

  1. The story of the laptop and the computer repairman may indeed seen strange, but thus far there is no real evidence against the authenticity of the material, which, in a country with an unbiased media and true freedom of expression, would be sufficient to eliminate any chance of victory for Biden, such is the corruption of his family. Meanwhile, desperate leftists (from Mother Jones to WaPo) are attempting, laughably, to spin this story as a campaign of Russian disinformation and propaganda. Interested readers should note that One America News (OANN) will be running a program investigating this material tomorrow evening and on Sunday.

  2. Let’s be totally frank what is going on here. Joe Biden has been BRIBED by the Chinese, Russians and Burisma. The money goes to Hunter and then, per an email to daughter Naomi, half of Hunter’s take (post-tax) goes to Joe, The Big Guy.

Joe, then either does favors for the bribers or fails to do things and “point shaves. ” An example of “point shaving” was Joe’s failure to stop China from taking over some islands and dominating the South China Sea.

This is absolutely astounding! This is criminal. And I suspect Obama got his cut from Joe.

All this money (after the check to Hunter) was sent via Bitcoin.

I’m absolutely convinced this evidence from the laptop is authentic. Rudy is no dummy. And the photos and videos tell all. They can’t be faked like emails can.

My favorite photo is of the drug-destroyed Hunter before he got his new white teeth.

The Bidens ran a Mafia operation right out the White House. Joe needs to go to jail. Why can’t people see this?

  3. Two aspects of this: Hunter’s grift and the otiose behavior of the FBI. I’d blame Christopher Wray, but I suspect the decision to sit on the laptop was made four layers distant from his office. Like the IRS, the abuse of power goes deep into the permanent government, and they carry water willingly for the Democratic Party.

  4. The Bidens ran a Mafia operation right out the White House. Joe needs to go to jail. Why can’t people see this?

You’re assuming partisan Democrats have a normal value scale.

  5. Real Clear Investigations has a history of Biden and his friends getting Hunter lucrative jobs for which he was totally unqualified.

  6. All of Biden fils’ activities occurred during Obama’s presidency.
All of Hillary’s criminal activities occurred during Obama’s presidency.
As did the IRS stuff, the unmasking stuff, the sending off to Iran of a few billion $$$ in cash, the commencement of the spying on the Trump campaign, fast and furious, etc.

And we are supposed to believe that Obama knew nothing about any of this.
What a lying sack of dog excrement.
He has to be the most corrupt president in American history and yet about 50% of American voters will vote for Biden.

    This is really frightening.

  7. If we had an IRS that actually investigated all people and not just the tea party folks and Trump, then they might find a case of not paying income taxes or gift taxes.

  8. Huxley. The repair store owner made a copy of all the files and the hard drive that he passed on to Guiliani’s lawyer, just in case the FBI sat on the info.

  9. Paul in Boston: Ah!

I was pretty sure the FBI didn’t decide to turn over such information a few weeks before the election…

So why did Giuliani’s lawyer sit on this material so long?

  10. “The Bidens ran a Mafia operation right out the White House. Joe needs to go to jail. Why can’t people see this?” Cornhead

Perhaps 3/5 of Americans either see it or are open to being convinced of it. The 1/5 needing persuasion are not getting the needed info through their main channel of info the MSM. Anyone who voted for Obama is going to be very reluctant to being convinced since it reveals they’ve been played for a fool.

    Paul in Boston,

From what I’ve read the repair shop owner did not turn over the cloned copy of the hard drive until very recently, when after 5 months and just a month away from the election he became convinced that the FBI was going to do nothing with it.

  11. Yes, he didn’t get it to Guiliani’s lawyer until the past few weeks, and then the lawyer and Guiliani did some investigative work to be sure it was really what it appeared to be, for fear of mistake and libel. Jonathan Turley points out today that it is notable that the Biden camp has not denied it’s Hunter’s laptop, has not claimed the emails are fraudulent, and has not talked about defamation. Yet, I suppose, but it seems clear that the emails are real.

  12. This reminds me of the eerie silence at first after the Climategate files were hacked or leaked in 2009. One expected the files to be denounced as fraudulent, but they weren’t.

So the climate change “fact-checkers” came in and explained the “deniers” had misrepresented what was in the files and pretended all was right in the world.

Then a flurry of committees arrived to reinforce that and say, harrumph, harrumph, that the earth is warming due to humans and “deniers” again were the problem.

But Climategate did open a crack for people to catch a glance of something unsavory going on in the ivory towers of climate science. It was a wound for climate change. Not a decisive one, however.

  13. This is looking seriously big. I can see why our tech and media overlords moved in like Goebbels to block it.

The most threatening aspect is that it’s straight quid-pro-quo criminality and nepotism which people can understand.

I confess I often got lost in the labyrinth of RussiaGate and all the squid ink the Democrats squirted.

  14. a Delaware attorney general badge

To my understanding this is one of those “I’m connected” not-sworn-but-counts-as-law-enforcement for “professional courtesy” badges that often let people carry in non-carry jurisdictions due to their political pull – it used to be said members of Congress who wanted to carry could get sworn as a Special US Marshall for the same effect.

And “Hunter” left his in the rental. With his crack pipe,

I’m surprised they did not find a firearm.

  15. I’m surprised they did not find a firearm.

Mike: You’re right there. Hunter is a prize and like Anthony Weiner in 2016 he could scuttle the Dem candidate this year. Such icky, brain-damaged behavior so close to the top.

    O tempora, o mores, o laptops!

  16. It’s easy to not like the FBI these days, but I would like to know a lot more about the timeline of events and people from the shop’s receipt of the laptop to now. It’s probably out there, I just haven’t come across it yet.

Hunter apparently dropped off 3 laptops, water damaged is what I’ve read somewhere. At some point (I have read) his lawyer called attempting to recover all or one of them. That’s a little odd. I can think of one very good reason for Hunter not picking them up though – if something highly incriminating were on them, with rumors of the law being involved. That would explain attempting recovery through a mechanism with legal privilege protections I guess.

I’ve read that the FBI became interested, took the laptop and made a copy of the hard drive for study, while keeping the laptop in custody. A FBI agent that specializes in computer crimes and pedophilia/child porn signed the warrant. Eventually they returned it to the shop.

Investigations and case-building take a long time. And the FBI is not used to bail the President out of his problems, whatever they might be. I could easily see where there would be no connection with (a) the phony impeachment saga – which was never going anywhere, (b) Trump moaning about the Biden’s in Ukraine, and (c) the FBI quietly pursuing what is looking more and more like a coherent case.

  17. It is looking like Jim Clyburn did not do sufficient due diligence in endorsing Joe Biden in the SC primary, but I suppose Senior Dems were running scared at their alternative options at that point: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_South_Carolina_Democratic_presidential_primary

Biden’s win was deemed a major victory, as he won all 46 counties in the state. The win was largely attributed to his support from 61% of African-American voters (African-American voters make up approximately 60% of the Democratic electorate in South Carolina).[38] Before the primary on February 26, Jim Clyburn endorsed Biden.[39] Many cited Clyburn’s endorsement as a reason for Biden’s wide margin of victory, as Clyburn’s endorsement is a deciding factor for many African American voters in South Carolina.[40] Thirty-six percent of all primary voters said that they made their decision after Clyburn’s endorsement; of that total, 70% voted for Biden.[41] According to FiveThirtyEight, the outcome significantly boosted Biden’s chance of winning multiple Super Tuesday states (especially southern states like North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia).

  18. huxley, you have a good point about the relative comprehensibility of this scandal compared to the Russia stuff. My eyes tend to glaze over at the Russia intricacies, but this affair is more graspable, though I am not without questions (not including ‘how do you say “laptop” in Latin?’ – that’s strictly for us 🙂 ).

  19. Aggie,

That’s not close to what I’ve read.

The owner has a copy of the receipt he gave Hunter Biden. There’s a picture of it on Rush’s website.

After 90 days without payment and unable to reach Hunter, the repair shop took legal ownership of the laptop. The owner then looked through the hard drive, saw the emails and pics called the FBI and cloned the drive.

The FBI got a subpoena and seized the laptop. After 5 months and approx. a month before the election, the owner concluded that the FBI was not going to act. He then contacted and gave the cloned drive to Rudy Guiliani’s lawyer. After confirming the authenticity of the emails, Guiliani provided another cloned copy of the drive to the N.Y. Post who did their own confirmation of its authenticity.

The Post contacted Hunter Biden’s lawyer for comment and shortly thereafter the lawyer called the repair shop owner to ask if he could come by and pay for the repairs and take possession of the laptop.

So far that’s my understanding of the chronology.

  20. Well, well, well.

    https://libertyunyielding.com/2020/10/17/that-was-quick-judge-in-case-of-devon-archer-associate-cooney-who-turned-over-emails-to-journos-is-spouse-of-mueller-prosecutor/

On Friday, it was reported that a man named Bevan Cooney, who was linked with the tribal bonds fraud on which Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca partner Devon Archer was convicted in 2018, had turned over “access to his Gmail account” to journalists Matthew Tyrmand and Peter Schweizer. Cooney was also convicted in the tribal bonds case.

This is producing revelations from the Cooney email account about Hunter Biden’s activities.

The timing is interesting. Cooney reached out to Schweizer and Tyrmand in 2019, according to Schweizer’s account on Friday at Breitbart.

Cooney’s involvement, being highlighted at just this time, throws into strong relief the decision of the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals on 7 October 2020 to deny Devon Archer his request for a new trial, in connection with that fraud scheme.

Be sure to read the Schweizer article at Breitbart so you can properly contemplate what the FBI was either uninterested in or chose to do nothing with. The little previewed so far looks detailed and unmistakable, as evidence.

But this post is about something else.

The links on the government side

The new-trial case for Devon Archer was presided over by Judge Ronnie Abrams of the U.S. District Court for the SDNY. She vacated the judgment against Devon Archer, a jury conviction obtained in her court in June 2018 at the same time as Cooney’s. She had also sentenced Cooney in 2019 (see the DOJ announcement linked above). The federal prosecutors for the SDNY appealed Abrams’s decision on Archer, leading to the appeals court reversal this month.

Following the appeals court ruling, Abrams sent Archer on for sentencing on 28 January 2021.

Abrams’s husband is Greg Andres, one of Robert Mueller’s top prosecutors on the special counsel team. Andres was also a witness for the prosecution in the Paul Manafort trial in T.S. “C’mon man!” Ellis III’s court – the U.S. Court for the Eastern District of Virginia – in August 2018. (The U.S. Attorney for the EDVA prosecuted the Manafort case.) Andres’s chief role with Mueller was reportedly investigating Manafort.

Moreover, Judge Ronnie Abrams’s brother, Dan Abrams, is the chief legal affairs anchor for ABC News, and hosts The Dan Abrams Show on SiriusXM.

Now, it’s by no means clear that the Abrams ruling on Devon Archer’s request for a new trial was to the benefit of people who might want to stifle the emergence of Bevan Cooney’s Gmail account. So that, pe se, is not the point.

The point is that the U.S. federal government had every reason to know that associates of Hunter Biden, who himself had obtained a lucrative deal with a Ukrainian gas company, were being prosecuted for a massive fraud scheme – with one participant, Devon Archer, identified in both activities – at the same time the U.S. federal government was probing the partly contemporaneous dealings of Paul Manafort and Rick Gates in Ukraine with an electric cattle prod.

The Ukraine-involved network of Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs – personalities well known to the syndicate crime investigators at the DOJ and FBI – was present in both story lines.

Yet we are supposed to accept it as straightforward that afterward, the ephemeral Trump connections were pursued, while the Biden-Archer connections were not.

Apparently, we’re not supposed to turn a hair that a pair of spouses shows up making key government decisions between 2017 and 2020. We’re to take it on faith that they were disinterested, and unpolluted by any untoward biases or prejudicially-managed knowledge stovepipes. They, and the DOJ and FBI, both worked cases linked through the tunnel of the Ukraine-Bidens-2016 nexus, and we’re to be satisfied with which connections were pursued (Andres and the Mueller probe) versus which ones weren’t (Abrams and the Biden associates case).

Get real. Structurally – forget the individual personalities – this has a gaping vulnerability at its core. We’ve got too many people married and otherwise related to each other, participating in decisions about defendants and political targets that to the reasonable person look linked, and biased in the extreme. There are good reasons not to trust what’s going on in our federal law enforcement organizations, and the possibility that even some experts in the field may say this is no big deal is one of them.

The presumption cannot possibly be in favor of this spousal link being irrelevant. That one’s going to require rigorous proof, to restore the public’s trust.

    C’mon man.

  21. If Biden is elected president, he will be impeached soon enough

Sure, Democrats may still hold the House, but the margin is small and 20 votes can be shamed to turn the outcome.

IMPEACHMENT will result from the now hydra headed document stream of Biden’s corruption from holding high elected office.

First the Hunter Biden laptop. Now his two convicted of fraud “business associates” yield another 26,000 email tranche of documents that show Slow Jow as the nexus of influence peddling with the ChiComs, and multiple other nations.

The Marxist Media cannot prevent exposure of the Obamunist Banana Republic that Barack presided over. Count on it.

  22. “How deep is this Swamp, anyway?”

As deep as the upper echelons. Say the 2-3 top levels.

Middle management must be aware of parts of it but given structural restrictions hasn’t the whole picture.

Peons have little choice but to do as they’re told, their position at the base of the pyramid affords them little to no access to sensitive information.

Perhaps an even more relevant question is how widespread is the rot in those upper echelons? Since we have no highly placed whistle blowers, it’s likely the rot infests the entire executive dept.’s leadership. A.G. Barr is one of the few exceptions.

  23. Here is the day’s new data that led me to conclude that if Biden hangs on to win and delays his resignation for declining health, he will be impeached (SEE ABOVE).

Friday in the US is ending, and not only do more Biden laptop documents show that Slow Joe traded influence to sprinkle wealth on himself and his family, but now a new cache of 26,000 “business” documents from Hunter’s convicted and already imprisioned associates demonstrate a Vice Presidential nexus of graft and pay to play crime.

The first part comes from FoxNews and the Hunter laptop computer; the second comes from a man’s email account tossed into prison for fraud in a 2016 case where Hunter escaped prosecution and these emails show Vice President Joe Biden as their business model hub.

The second part comes from yet another prosecuted and convicted associate of Hunter Biden, and access to a new set of 26,000 emails of their business activities.

Back to the first. According to FOX News, one of the people on the email chain has corroborated the authenticity of the emails. FOX News reported:

One of the people on an explosive email thread allegedly involving Hunter Biden has corroborated the veracity of the messages, which appear to outline a payout for former Vice President Joe Biden as part of a deal with a Chinese energy firm.

One email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Hunter Biden as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co.

The email includes a note that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details. Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.

Sources told Fox News that “the big guy” is a reference to the former vice president. The New York Post initially published the emails and other controversial messages that Fox News has also obtained.”

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hunter-biden-china-email-source-verifies

Now to the new source of emails. One Bevan Cooney, already in prison for fraud and conspiracy, has granted outsiders access to his email account.

Apparently, this former business associate of Hunter Biden — who also sat on the Board of Directors of Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company — is frustrated that both he and another convicted man named Archer have both taken the fall, while Hunter has escaped punishment.

This means that two Americans on the Burisma Board have been convicted but that Hunter Biden was not even prosecuted. Yet, as Peter Schweizer explains, Hunter’s name and his father Joe are sprinkled throughout them.

Breitbart has the breaking story from Hannity tonight, with audio of the segment at the link:

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer stated that the emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s one-time business associate, Bevan Cooney, show “a veritable United Nations of corruption” and that 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden, “as vice president of the United States, was a center point. It was almost the planet around which these business activities moved.”

Schweizer said, [relevant remarks begin around 3:40] “[W]hat those emails show, the 26,000 show, we’re working our way through them, is a wide net of using the Biden name, using access to the White House, serving — Hunter serving as the pipeline to the administration as means to help their clients and gain clients. The names that come up in this are the Chinese, the Russians, the Ukrainians, the Kazakhs. It’s a veritable United Nations of corruption. And what it demonstrates is that Joe Biden, as vice president of the United States, was a center point. It was almost the planet around which these business activities moved.”

  24. Huxley and Geoffrey have raised the issue of authentication of the Hunter Biden laptop. The chain of custody has been answered. But what about authentication?

From Friday morning, there is so much detail in this brief Fox and Friends 8 minute interview with Giuliani. There are MULTIPLE ways in which he has authenticated the Hunter Biden emails!

THE Most shocking and damning admission is the fact that when Hunter’s lawyer caught rumours of the laptop, he called the Mac Repairman’s business and asked for his client’s laptop back! Thus, “they don’t even contest” it, he says.

Now, that answers the chain of custody issue. Next, Giuliani explains the crucial independent authentication issue and how it ties this cache of documents to specifically to Hunter.

Additionally, are the intimate private photo and video evidence.

But more traditionally, Giuliani states that he has personally withheld and kept possession of some ten Email texts concerning a back door appointment that Hunter had with the US State Department for (or with?) the Chinese government.
These meeting are logged there completely independent of Giuliani, his lawyer, and the Mac Repairman.

    QED.

    Wow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24jAtn2AmsE

  25. There is a 0.000000000001 x 10^ (-99) chance a President Biden will get impeached; it really is incredible that anyone can believe that this could occur.

The dems are expert in circling the wagons and with the media running interference for them, the citizenry will mostly be ignorant of any crimes committed by Biden.
Think of all the illegal activities that occurred under the Obama presidency – arguably the most corrupt president in US history – and certainly the biggest liar that has ever sat his ass in the White House.
All the crap, illegal activities, the brazen lying and dishonesty that he and his underlings engaged in was effectively muzzled by the media.

Far more likely is that Biden is considered – due to his senility – mentally incapable of holding office, and the really dumb whore, Kamala Harris, becomes prez. Of course, this means all her advisors – acolytes of Obama, AOC and Sanders, will run the show.

  26. I hate to blunt with all the truly great people here at Neo’s, but you’re all living in fantasy land.

The laptop is real. All the corruption to the highest levels is real. NOTHING will come of this. This morning after reading through all the above insightful comments and discussion I went and looked at the websites of ABC, NBC, CBS, and NPR news. Here’s what I found:

ABC: in a sidebar with links to minor stories in small print 5 lines down was a link about “FBI probing emails”

    NBC: nothing

CBS: Over half way down the page with 12 other stories ahead of it, was a story about Guiliani being a source of Russian disinformation.

NPR: second story from top was ” ‘Questionable NYPost “scoop” driven by ex-Hannity producer Guiliani”

I didn’t bother to check CNN et al. Combine that with Twitter and FB levee building. And for 3 days carefully watching the liberal/leftist acquaintances I follow on FB, who follow politics rabidly where nothing has been even mentioned,…I now assume they really have no knowledge of this at all. It’s only on Fox and the right internet media that is carrying this story. It’s going nowhere, and even if it does eventually make it out to the general public it will be too late, and then nothing more will happen. They’ve won by controlling the information stream. Hillary’s server, the Durham facade, and now this….none of it matters and nothing will happen.

  27. What physics guy said is so sadly true. It is apparent that the laws of our country don’t apply to Democrats in positions of power. This century has been a sad commentary on the dissolution of this once great Republic.

  28. Hunter Biden somehow got into the Naval Reserve in 2012. Of course, “Pop” pulled strings to get him in. That’s how Hunter got every job he ever had. Speaking of “pop,” Biden popped positive on his first random urinalysis in June 2013. I used to be in charge of what we used to call in the Navy “Operation Goldenflow” at a couple of my commands. Every reserve unit has to randomly select some of the command members to report for it on Saturday morning each and every drill weekend; in fact if I remember correctly this was Biden’s first drill weekend.

This is another example of Hunter Biden’s extremely reckless self-destructive behavior. How so? Cocaine can normally be detected in urine for a maximum of three days. Biden knew he had a drill weekend coming up. All he had to do is stop using Coke after Tuesday. He could have then done all the Coke he wanted on Sunday after drill (if he did it Saturday evening and looked high on Sunday morning the command could have sent him to medical for cause and had him tested, but the reserves don’t routinely do drug testing on Sunday). He couldn’t do it. I say “can normally be detected” because if someone is a heavy, habitual user Coke can be detected for weeks in urine. Either way Hunter Biden accurately described himself in one of the emails he sent Joe Biden. He’s a “f#@&ed up addict” who “can’t be trusted.” Which is why the Navy kicked him out.

And he got all those lucrative jobs on his own, because he has such mad skillz that high ranking Chinese communist party officials, Ukrainian oligarchs, and Russian kleptocrats are lining up at his door? Hunter had the easiest job in the world. All he had to do to survive in the reserves was show up on time, in uniform, with a haircut, and no drugs in his system. And he couldn’t do it. I say this as an intel officer who had extensive active duty experience (over half of my 20 years in) but retired from the reserves. Those are the basic requirements. If you can actually do the job it’s an unexpected bonus. Active duty commands are shocked, but pleasantly, if you as a reservist can actually perform on an equal basis with active duty peers in the same paygrade.

So would Hunter Biden drop off computers at a random Delaware repair shop and then forget all about it? Absolutely. He nailed it when he described himself.

  29. We know who “Pops” is…are we sure “Big Guy” is Biden and not Obama? If so much happened during the Obama administration, how do we know Obama wasn’t on the take. Maybe I’m crazy suggesting this.

  30. Steve57;

And who else had their parents pull strings to obtain positions they did not deserve.
Senator John McCain, Chelsea Clinton, one of Obama’s daughters, Al Gore; just to name a few.

This is the way it works in Washington DC; it is a self absorbed , elitist class who make rules for all of us , yet from which they exempt themselves (think Obamacare) .

They proclaim loud and clear that climate change (and it’s attendant rise in sea levels) are a present danger, yet buy an almost ocean front, 10 MILLION $$$ mansion in Martha’s Vineyard (e.g. Obama).
They loudly proclaim that school choice is not a solution, that it must be opposed, while they send THEIR kids to fancy, schmancy private schools.

And why didn’t FBI, DOJ middle -management people raise alarms about the corruption of their superiors??
Because they have mortgages and college tuition to pay, they cannot put retirement benefits at risk, etc.
This is the danger of bureaucracy; once absorbed into the “Borg,” you really are there forever and you will keep your mouth shut to make sure you retain all the $$$ benefits you have accrued.

The deep state cannot be reformed at all; it really must be abolished.

  31. And who else had their parents pull strings to obtain positions they did not deserve. Senator John McCain, Chelsea Clinton, one of Obama’s daughters, Al Gore; just to name a few.

Gore was a beneficiary of the weird sort of brand loyalty a critical mass of the electorate have. That’s not a string his father could pull for him. (I assume, though, that there were aspirants in Tennessee who stayed out of the way in 1976 with or without an explicit call from papa Gore or one of his intermediaries). Gore never had a difficult election in Tennessee; he ran unopposed twice, with token opposition once, and with weak opposition three times. Well, I should say he never had a difficult election as a member of Congress. When he ran for President, he lost Tennessee.

Before he was in Congress, he was a newspaper reporter in Nashville, a position I wager he could have landed given his history as a reporter for Army newspapers.

He was given special handling when he was in the Army, but I don’t think any smoking gun has surfaced indicating that his father asked for it or even knew about it. (The Army was anxious about the PR fallout if the son of a member of Congress were to be killed).

The sad business about Chelsea Clinton is that she could have established her self in some sort of professional-managerial occupation on her own but seemed to have no sustained interest in anything. She had time in McKinsey-type consulting, in public health, in academic administration, in broadcasting. Then she ended up running her parents’ grift. (Jenna Bush also landed a position in broadcasting; unlike Chelsea, she seems well-suited to it).

  32. The laptop is real. Hunter Biden is really really guilty, and Joe Biden is also guilty.
No surprises – this is old news!
(The new news is the laptop evidence being so much better than before).

    No excitement until indictments.

But, ok, the fact that Twitter and FB are both censoring the story is part of the story that will be important.

    Welcome to October.
    Surprise!
Oh, wait – only Dems are supposed to have Oct. surprise frauds against Republicans, not new true evidence against the Dem.

All should ask all their lib friends, and anti-Trump folk, about these Hunter Biden emails and corruption. And hear the current Dem line – it’s Russian disinformation.
    Please then ask:
“So if it was true, if Biden really was corrupt, would you still support him?”

Most Dems will, whether they say so or not.

  33. The Clintons took bags of illegal cash from Chinese military spies. In exchange, they gave the CCP access to all our top secret CIA files involving China, all diplomatic cables, and top secret missile technology. And we know all this because it was exposed in Senate hearings.

And nothing happened! Democrats don’t do jail. It’s deep state privilege.

See also Clinton national security advisor Sandy Berger.

  34. Almost of the evidence Joe Biden’s corruption was already public record. All the laptop does is to provide direct evidence tying “the Big Man” to the quid pro quos. This new evidence fits neatly into the picture that already existed.

However, I am sure that the FBI could, if it wanted to, provide corroboration of the laptop’s and its contents authenticity.

  35. However, I am sure that the FBI could, if it wanted to, provide corroboration of the laptop’s and its contents authenticity.

I suspect the agency is rotten all the way down. One grievous error Trump has made was nominating Christopher Wray (at Rod Rosenstein’s recommendation). If Trump manages to pull off re-election, job 1 should be a pink slip for that man.

  36. Sure, Democrats may still hold the House, but the margin is small and 20 votes can be shamed to turn the outcome.

    Ha ha ha

  37. John Tyler wrote

    “Steve57;

And who else had their parents pull strings to obtain positions they did not deserve.
Senator John McCain, Chelsea Clinton, one of Obama’s daughters, Al Gore; just to name a few.”

I’m sure the list is long and includes many Republicans (the corrupt political machine in Illinois is known locally as “The Combine” and elected Illinois Republicans are perfectly happy to be the junior members as long as they can work their hustle), but I don’t understand why I can’t just stick to the subject at hand. Which is the Biden crime family and their decades long history of grift. One of my pet peeves about the news site “fact checkers” at Snopes, the WaPo, CNN, etc., is that they are falsely advertised as somehow being “non-partisan.” But they are clearly leftist. So someone on the right can say something that’s 100% true, such as “According to emails that journalist John Solomon obtained from the State Dept. via a FOIA request, Burisma’s registered U.S. agent, the Washington D.C. PR firm with extensive links to the Democrat party ‘Blue Star Strategies,’ Burisma asked for and was granted a meeting with State Dept. officials to official U.S. intervention to end corruption probe into the energy company and its CEO. According to the email exchange Blue Star Strategies emphasized that high profile Americans, naming Hunter Biden by name, were on Burisma’s board of directors. One month after the meeting VP Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1B in U.S. loan guarantees unless the President of fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma.”

Every single word is true. Nowhere do I suggest (although you’d have to be brain dead not to make the connection) that there was a quid pro quo. The fact is there was a sequence of events; these things happened one after the other. First, Blue Star Strategies requested a meeting on behalf of their client Burisma to discuss the Ukrainian public prosecutor’s corruption probe into their client’s business activities (Another set of undisputed facts is that the founder and original CEO of Burisma and former Ukrainian Minister of Ecology Mykola Zlochevsky was granting his company licenses under extremely favorable terms to explore and drill for oil and gas, and is implicated in the theft of public funds on a massive scale; funds that still haven’t been recovered; funds that the U.S. taxpayer is still on the hook for through U.S. loan guarantees; a theft that the Obama/Biden administration turned a blind eye to and never asked the then government of Ukraine for an accounting). State Dept. officials met with Blue Star Strategies representatives to discuss the issue. A month later Joe Biden, Obama’s point man on Ukraine policy, made a scheduled trip to Ukraine. During the scheduled trip, Biden threatened to withhold $1B in U.S. loan guarantees so Ukraine could obtain vital economic aid (again, beyond dispute; he bragged about this act of extortion at a public event hosted by “Foreign Policy” magazine; https://www.wsj.com/video/opinion-joe-biden-forced-ukraine-to-fire-prosecutor-for-aid-money/C1C51BB8-3988-4070-869F-CAD3CA0E81D8.html).

How would the very partisan leftist “non-partisan fact checkers” at leftist media outlets rate my 100% factually correct statement? Half True! Because I didn’t say a lot of things a leftist would have said about all the other people, especially Republicans, have done which are as bad or worse. Essentially, you can’t tell the truth about their preferred candidate without saying something along the lines of, “But Biden is still better than Trump; Orangeman worse than Hitler.”

If I respond to a post on this site that’s about some other swamp creature and their 50 year rap sheet of corruption I’ll talk about them then. This is about former Sen. and VP Joe Biden and the Biden crime family, though.

Please don’t take any offense. I’m agreeing with you, Mr. Tyler. But to widen the scope to everyone would take a book, not an internet comment. In fact, someone already wrote that book:

Exactly describes the article by Bari Weiss that Neo discussed.

I would also point out that there is a type of spin prevalent in the MSM where they can write a story in which every assertion is objectively true (as in Steve’s example), but by omitting relevant information (not the “whataboutism” of the fact-checkers), they make the story as a whole a lie.

Projection at work at Snopes et al.?

  39. Doc Zero says more clearly what I tried to describe:
In the world of reality, Wrongthinkers clearly believe Badfacts.

The latest addition to the lexicon of totalitarianism is “Badfact.”

A Badfact is objectively true, but it damages the political narratives of the ruling elite, so everyone must be prevented from thinking about it. The accuracy of the Badfact is never seriously challenged.

The most common technique for suppressing Badfacts is the “mostly false” factcheck, which is based not on disputing the accuracy of the Badfact, but on insisting that some mystical “context” is needed to understand the “greater truth” surrounding it.

Here’s one of the Badfacts that we aren’t supposed to think about.

Why would hostile foreign powers and shady characters keep paying Hunter Biden millions of dollars for access, year after year, if he never delivered any?

The media/Biden campaign (but I repeat myself) framing for this story is that some shifty foreigners stuffed cash into Hunter’s pockets one time, then found him passed out in a bathtub with a crack pipe and cursed themselves for fools, as if he had conned them.

But that’s not what happened AT ALL. Shifty foreigners and outright enemies of the United States paid Hunter Biden huge sums to buy access, over and over again, for years. He’s not some fake Nigerian prince who swindled people one time and then scurried away with the loot.

If Hunter was just a grifter who talked big but never delivered the access he promised, his dodgy clientele would have stopped patronizing him. But they didn’t. Everyone knows he’s an irresponsible train wreck, but they kept throwing millions of dollars at him.

Does that make it seem like the word of mouth on Hunter Biden’s services, among those seeking access to the U.S. government through Joe Biden, was bad… or very, very good?
