Red Birds v. Red Sox. A Red World Series.
Congrats, N-Neocon. This Rays guy will enjoy the play of them both. Terrific new managers and class players. My wife(The Baseball Queen of All Time)and I were rooting for our former team(Dodgers)and our #2 favotites in the American League(Tigers)aka “Jimmy’s Boys”, but, oh well. The Tigers spring train an hour from us in Lakeland, Florida, and “fold” to Nena’s ‘cuteness & adorability factor’ by happily signing big league baseballs every time. She’s now got north of 600, all gained by herself, from all teams and many great managers, in ultra-violet resistent/anal-compulsive cases in our shared study. Many BoSox there and even some of the Real Gals of “A League of Their Own”! Relentless, all 4’11” & 98-lbs of Sicilian Fireball. I just sit back at (pre)games and watch her “stalking”. Best movie I’ve ever seen.
Thhhhpppppp!!!! Now that I got that out of my system for the Sox beating my team, the Tigers, I’ll be pulling for them in the Series. Go American League! Beat the Cards!
I favor the National League over the American League every series. Go Cards!
