Tax return releases… — 7 Comments

  1. Nan don’t want to get too close to home on this.

Her non-union workers, probably illegals in her vineyard in California and her sub-minimum wage workers in her tuna cannery in Samoa could be a problem if all this turned up on her tax returns.

My suggestion – one page of Romney’s tax returns for one page of The Messiah’s college applications, college transcripts, law school transcripts, Illinois Bar disciplinary proceedings, etc.

    Tit for Tat.

  2. Feckless Harry Reid said today that Mitt would have to release them to get a ‘Dog Catcher’ job. Well, Slimy FooL, let’s see those of congress and the US Senate. A total of 17 in both houses have released them. Baa-Daa-Bing. Like Dat, vacuous one.

Oh, and Harry, how’bout ALL the higher ups in the Obam-Bam Administration??

  3. The Minority Leader faced questions about the issue after a McClatchy News report showed only 17 of 535 Members released their tax returns when asked.

Hypocrisy surely does sting when it bites you in the butt.

  4. >>> Facing questions about why she and other top Congressional officials won’t release their tax returns, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) downplayed her previous demands for presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney to release his, calling the issue a distraction.

Indeed. It’s distracting to make Pelosi, et al, look bad when they’re trying to make Romney look bad!

Get wi’ th’ program agenda, folks!!

    >>>> Hypocrisy surely does sting when it bites you in the butt.

Ah, but surely this is true of most things that bite you in the butt? 😀

  5. @RandomThoughts: No, frankly it doesn’t. Barry and Harry and Nancy and that crowd have absolutely sense of shame. It doesn’t bother them in the least that they wouldn’t do what they are screaming for others to do, and most of their supporters are too clueless, or similarly lacking in a sense of fair play to care.

Politicians are often amoral. Liberals are by definition amoral. They think they are moral. They try to be moral. But it’s a pseudo-morality of what makes them feel good. It’s a pseudo-morality ultimately focused on self-absorption.

  6. ConceptJ: Ahhhhhhhh, but they unwaveringly see themselves as super-mo’moral than us’suns.
