What are the requirements of the transaction for you to receive some compensation from Amazon?
Mostly I buy books (recovering bibiloholic) from Amazon, and most of those are used books. Do you receive compensation from all transactions, or only from the sale of new books? Must the purchase be from Amazon? I often will go thru your site to shop there, and put items in my cart, but may not complete the purchase for a week or so. Does this affect your compensation from Amazon? Hope not.

JimBob: I don’t whether the program applies when you order through Amazon but another company or store actually sends it. Possibly yes, but possibly no.
Also, if you click through neo-neocon but then your session expires, and you sign in again without going through my site again and then you order something, it doesn’t get credited to me.
However, if you click through neo-neocon, and place something in your cart as part of that session, you have 89 days to order it and I’ll still get some credit. After that, I wouldn’t get any credit.
Also, if you have your own Amazon Affiliates set up, your own purchases are ineligible for credit on YOUR OWN site, so patronizing fellow bloggers is a good idea. All of us can help spread the wealth around 🙂
