I, too, am very favorably impressed with the quality of comments at this blog.
I’ve griped about the lengths of Artful’s comments, and I’ve had my unpleasantness with Occam, but those fade to mere noise in the overall worthiness of the ideas put forth by our commenters here.

I have rarely committed on other blogs, but this seems like a group of old friends and acquaintances here that I enjoy listening to. Well, I was going to fix that “no worthless comments” part by saying that I’m getting ready to have a bowl of oatmeal but it looks as if br549 beat me to it. I’m still going to have that oatmeal.

Were it not for the failure of subject-verb agreement (“is” rather than “are”) I might be lulled into thinking it a live person rather than a spambot. Those Russian spammers are getting more literate in English with every attempt.
