Twin stories — 10 Comments

  1. Everyone knows the difference between right and wrong. Right? I know not to murder my neighbour and not to steal from my employer. However, when it comes to being Adolf Hitler’s secretary, Kenneth Lay’s accountant, Osama bin Laden’s driver, or Saddam Hussein’s chef, I’m not sure at what point my innocence turns to guilt. So if I was later charged, that’s when I would need a good lawyer.

Kenneth Lay? How many people did he kill, or died by his hands?

“When it comes to being Hitler’s Secretary, Barry Manilow’s piano tuner, Osama bin Laden’s driver….”

  3. Now I’m convinced Martyn is a parody of liberal moral confusion.

Somebody is just winding us up: Nobody can be that obtuse and detached from reality….

  4. I think actual terrorist would be less damaging if they infiltrated our govt. They’d at least be more hesitant by trying not to come off as the actual f*****g enemy!

  5. “Barry Manilow’s piano tuner”

He’s in the clear. Barry Manilow made a full confession as to who wrote the songs.

  6. We saw in the case of Lynn Stewart that there can be a fine line between being a legal advocate for terrorists and an actual accomplice and traitor. We know that it must be a fine line, because Stewart’s defenders said that you can’t know when you have crossed it.

  7. So where is the public outrage, the demands for impeachment, no president has ever come close to doing so much wrong in such a little time (for that matter over any period of time, exclusive of Viet Nam) and yet the words impeach are not heard. Anyone care to tell me why?
Does anyone think Obama is not the worse president in US history?
