I only read a few comments at the Flopping Aces link.(and the article).
It will be interesting to see if more comes out about Shell oil.

most of what a presidential cabinet does is conspiracy, since we are not privy to it.
the whole idea of the tin hatters is to have a place to send those ideas that one cant do anything with or change!
think about it… like calling someone facism, calling it a tin hat conspiracy does the same thing to ideas and facts that fascist does to a person.

A statement like “conspiracy is the norm” dilutes the concept to meaninglessness. Trashing the language like that clouds the thinking.
I think that people who are awake are of two minds: this is a conspiracy of elites and/or a cult-like mentality of the scientists. There is no need for a single mastermind like Shell Oil and Al Gore.
Here is a likely conspiracy that we know about: After Katrina, a group of scientists held a press conference about hurricanes. I speculate that press conference gave Al Gore the confidence to build his movie around Katrina. Chris Landsea was so uncomfortable about that press conference he resigned a post so he wouldn’t have to work with those scientists.
I would love to hear more about Shell oil, but what was posted on Flopping Aces was insufficient for me, perhaps there was something useful in the comments.

the point is that there is even more around things than what you bring up. for instance, what has the state agencies been doing? you forget to which most liberals hail their allegience. obamas mom and dad met at a russian language class. his uncle with russia overthrew kenyas elected government. ayers is a stalinist. clinton was a fulbright scholar to the soviet union when they were still soviet.
they are never in the discussions, even though they are intimately involved in such games, and have even hinted that they are. (not to mention defectors who have explained things and archives that have been opened and reveal other things).

you think that a movement that would result in global governance through energy was just created in a few years by a group of scientists making an opportunity for al gore?
then why was gorbachev cluing his people in on the near future a long time before that? how did he know… (check out his last job).

I get the birds of a feather thing. You suggest a master plan, but can’t relate it to Shell oil apparently.
The FA post tries to make it sound like this scenario that came from Shell Oil ,”A1″, is the master plan. It looks like one of the scenarios in the IPCC reports used to make warming projections based on how much CO2 is produced by a particular scenario.
I did not read it that carefully, perhaps it’s something else. I’m not that familiar with the IPCC reports either, but I have spent some time with them. If that’s all the email is, the post may prove to look foolish.
Again, I would love to hear any dirt on Shell Oil. I believe there is a political scandal here as well. The entire Democratic party promoted this uncritically. They can’t possibly all be in on this, they don‘t all want cap and trade. Hansen has been against it for some time. He‘s even announced he wants Copenhagen to fail this very day.
He doesn’t need to do that to prove he’s not in on a conspiracy. It won’t do him any good either and he knows it.
This is probably the most complete yet succinct account available as to what happened. It’s technical enough that it isn’t dumbed down, yet brief enough for reasonably intelligent non-technical people to follow.

This collaboration with the Nazi Germany was not publicly known for as long as the war lasted, not even when the said branch of the Standard Oil was accused of betrayal due to its association before the war with I.G. Farben [6]. The financial transactions among the branches of the Standard Oil and I.G. Farben were made through a banking system established by Prescott Bush [7].
Although the Nazis failed in their attempt to recover the Russian oilfields, the Pacific War allowed the Standard Oil to take control of various oilfields of the region, which was before that a reserve of Shell.

John D. Rockefeller died very old, at the age of 98, and his only son John D. II therefore took control at 64, when he was already about to retire. The latter distributed 552 million dollars, paid 317 millions as taxes, and left his family a total of 240 millions.
His son, David Rockefeller, was successful in finances as president, and later as manager of the Chasse Manhattan Bank till 1981. He was also president of the Council on Foreign Relations from 1970 to 1985.

This collaboration with the Nazi Germany was not publicly known for as long as the war lasted, not even when the said branch of the Standard Oil was accused of betrayal due to its association before the war with I.G. Farben [6]. The financial transactions among the branches of the Standard Oil and I.G. Farben were made through a banking system established by Prescott Bush [7].
Although the Nazis failed in their attempt to recover the Russian oilfields, the Pacific War allowed the Standard Oil to take control of various oilfields of the region, which was before that a reserve of Shell.

John D. Rockefeller died very old, at the age of 98, and his only son John D. II therefore took control at 64, when he was already about to retire. The latter distributed 552 million dollars, paid 317 millions as taxes, and left his family a total of 240 millions.
