Blogger Problem
I’m trying to fix a problem with Blogger. The blog is coming up on the screen as a blank white page. I’ve been told that, when that happens, if you manage to post something, the blog content usually shows up again. So, this is a test to see whether that works.
Thanks, anonymous. Whittle has been a big favorite of mine for a long, long time. That reminds me–I never added him to the old blogroll. Must do that now.
Thanks for the suggestions. Nightmarish scenario: losing one’s entire blog. I have been copying my posts onto Word every now and then, but I never thought to copy the template, too. Excellent idea.
I’m one of these folks that has a bad habit of changing subjects, no harm intended, but I just came across one you would like by Bill Whittle http://ejectejecteject.com/ – it was quite a read. ” Welcome” it says, “you’re a former Liberal. Your worldview has just been hit by heat-seeking reality……”
Recently, I was posting a photo and the whole blog went down. When it came back, all previous work was removed, not to be found. Later, for reasons unknown, it came back as if nothing had happened. So, I think Pat is right…copy your blog.
As a little suggestion, it’s a good idea to occasionally copy your entire template and save it in a word-processing document. Blogger has been known to “lose” the format on occasion.
