First they got Bin Laden, and now… — 7 Comments

  1. Neo on Howie Carr:
he’s not a guy to avoid crowing.

That is the understatement of the week.

  2. Bulger’s pol/thug youger brother was President of the MA Senate and then of U Mass Amherst (1996-2004). He refused to cooperate with the FBI for years. The Irish crime families have their version of Omerta, too.

For a highly sanitized biography of the younger brother see,

  3. Who’s next?

    Hoffa?
    D.B. Cooper?
    Elvis?
    Mary Malone?
    Amelia Earhart & Noonan?
(notice how spell checker knows her but not him)

    Moriarty?
    “Alfie” Hinds?
Alfréd Wetzler? (no, he got away…)
SÅ‚awomir Rawicz? (no, he got away…)
    Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov?
    Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar?
    Matteo Messina “Diabolic” Denaro
Joseph Kony & Okot Odhiambo & Dominic Ongwen?
    Omid Tahvili?
    Joaquin Guzman?
    Aribert Heim?
Chief Ratko Mladic (whoops i think they caught him)

And one who must be a fav of Nicholas Cage whose character converted him into something that helps Americans hate themselves (2005 film Lord of War): Viktor Anatolyevich Bout (who is kind of caught, but will the net hold?)

    Georg Fischer (Alois Brunner)?
    [Olga Horak describes some things…]

Sé¸ren Kam may still be around… helped by Gudrun Burwitz and her network Stille Hilfe (Silent Aid)
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stille_Hilfe

    Mikhail Gorshkow?

Veljko Kadijević? (last seen in Florida in 2007)

Protais Mpiranya? (if your traveling in Zimbabwe be on the lookout for this Rwandan)

Aribert Ferdinand “Dr Death” Heim? (might be seen in a mosque since conversion)

Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman? (i guess not, as once they found out that it was Christians being massacred, the whole save Darfur thing kind of fell apart) same for Ahmed Mohammed Haroun…

    So many people to find…

  4. Artfldgr, thanks for the list. Most on the list I was not aware of. Coincidentally, I can connect two of the not-common surnames on the list with people I know. I didn’t realize people I knew had such possible connections.
