Poor coke-addled Hunter, the Bidens’ shakedown man — 42 Comments

  1. What I’d like to know, that no one seems to be asking, is if Hunter was so coke addled he didn’t know what he was doing, who was keeping track of which entity was up to date on their payments?

If there were so many bank accounts and shell companies involved it took years to unravel, how did someone so scatterbrained as Hunter know who paid what where? He couldn’t keep track of a gun, his laptop, or who he impregnated, how did he know who to threaten with non payment for services rendered?

The big guy couldn’t be that hand’s on for plausible deniability purposes, plus he’s a moron, so who was it?

Or is it just me that thinks this might be a good thing to know?

  2. I am amazed how all the Propaganda Ministry leaped on this in lock step like a swarm of birds in close flight turning at once. Do they all get a memo or once a idea pops up everyone knows what to do?

  3. Democrats (Exhibit ~)

  4. yes it was the journolist, now it has expanded to the rizzotto tree grapevine*

remember all those reporters that vetted their copy by hillary’s staff,

  5. One of the awful things about the Biden administration is being witness to this sort of corruption plus this sort of gaslighting about it.

The corruption is normal business by greedy politicians. It’s the gaslighting which is the bigger crime here. Without reliable news sources to expose the crooked and the greed, Our Democracy is hobbled in twain with Our Democrat Party for the foreseeable future, and that’s no democracy at all.

  6. Move along; nothing to see here – unless, of course, the Democrats decide it’s time to dump Biden, which I don’t think has happened yet because they don’t have a good replacement, and they can’t figure out how to deal with Kamala Harris.

I could be wrong, but if the party decides to dump Biden, I can’t imagine that they would allow us to see and understand all that graft. Because it isn’t just graft. It’s the highest officer of the land selling precious government powers and authorities to one of the nation’s gravest foreign threats. For peanuts!

Many of the rank and file Dem electorate no doubt engage in some kind of avoidance of cognitive dissonance. They can’t allow their mind to go to the place where all this stuff is true. Must be some evil GOP smoke screen.

The way I see it, they must deny, deny, and deny.

  7. with assange we were able to get a perspective into the clinton’s dark deeds, of course assange is now under wraps, many of the accounts that relayed the details were shuttered some were put out of business,

  8. TommyJay (5:52 pm) said, “The way I see it, they [the rank and file Dem electorate] must deny, deny, and deny.”

Not necessarily. Reason #1, Trump. Reason #2, nothing worse than anything Trump ever did. Reason #3, Orange Man Bad: like, eeeeevil.

Anything can be overlooked (which is different from denied) when the alternative is lit-er-ally nazism. Therefore, Reason #4, decades-long demonization, hatred, and “other”ing of all things conservative and/or Republican.

Friends, we are citizens of a civilization half of which has literally — and I do intend the meaning of “literally” to be *literally* in this instance — lost its mind. (And another third or so can’t let go of following the celebrity (lemming-like?) that’s living rent-free in the former half’s noggins.)

  9. As I have said before, Democrats are stupid or ignorant or evil, sometimes in combination. When was the last time a Democratic president did good for the country? Woodrow? Got us into a European war. FDR? Rampant socialism, ending in Yalta with the grant of multiple conquered European countries to Stalin? Truman? Oh, that was the Korean non-war, and he fired McArthur who retook 99% of Korea and wanted to go after Mao. JFK? He gave us Bay of Pigs, sacrificed Cuba, and authorized public employee unions. our present curse. LBJ? Thoroughly corrupt, said of the Voting Rights Bill, “If this passes, the N++++rs will vote Democratic for 200 years!”
Since Woodrow, the Dems have turned us into a near-socialist country. Now, let’s vote for Gavin!

  10. “I could be wrong, but if the party decides to dump Biden, I can’t imagine that they would allow us to see and understand all that graft.”

Agreed. And that goes double because he’s the walking poster child for invoking the 25th Amendment. Health would be the way to go, because talking about corruption could bring other corruption to light, as well.

  11. I think Biden will decide, later this year, that his health will not permit him to run again, and Newsom will be the candidate. Harris stays VP but isn’t on the 2024 ticket; that’s how they deal with her.

  12. Oops. What I meant was,

The way I see it, they [the Dem leadership & media] must deny, deny, and deny.

But MJR makes the cogent point that it is not clear what sort of craziness that portion of the electorate is willing to entertain.

  13. Between the media (D-everywhere) and 50% of the populace hating everything R, I don’t see Biden getting his comeuppance.
If the Republic lasts, though, historians will rank the Biden administration right up the with the Grant, Harding, and Clinton administrations as champs in the cash-on-the-barrelhead corruption sweepstakes.

  14. FDR? Rampant socialism, ending in Yalta with the grant of multiple conquered European countries to Stalin? Truman? Oh, that was the Korean non-war, and he fired McArthur who retook 99% of Korea and wanted to go after Mao.
    ==
FDR never ‘granted multiple conquered countries to Stalin’. Which countries landed in the Soviet sphere was a function of boots on the ground, and that FDR could not control. As for his domestic policies, some were salutary and some were not. He was in office and remained in office because he made better decisions than did his predecessor.
    ==
Truman presided over a succesful demobilization, turned in balanced budgets, and undertook a retool of American foreign policy in response to external threats. he also had every reason to fire MacArthur.

  15. Would Newsome be confirmed if appointed VP by Harris? Probably.

He would be the defacto President. He could run as the incumbent in 2024. Harris could take the heat off by pardoning all the Bidens in the name of “Moving on”.

Everybody in the Swamp wants this all buried.

  16. Kate:

Dumping Harris – the first woman VP and the first black woman VP – would anger a significant amount of the Democratic base.

  17. Truman presided over a succesful demobilization, turned in balanced budgets, and undertook a retool of American foreign policy in response to external threats.

And credit where credit is due: Truman – not FDR, certainly not Woodrow Wilson – racially integrated the US military.

  18. Art-
I stand corrected on FDR. Too quick on the trigger, confusing East Poland with greater Poland.
I maintain my anti-Truman view. The East would likely be a much better place now with Mao dethroned, but Truman fired MacArthur who had reached the China border, the Yalu River as I recall. So a few years later we got the Korean “war”, a brutal thing fought under UN auspices against Chinese cannon fodder.(USSR boycotted UN for recognizing Taiwan as China, and mainland China was not then admitted to UN, so they did not vote in the Security Council!) .

  19. Will dumping Kamala in favor of Newsom truly permanently drive away (D) voters? Wouldn’t they just have a primary between Newsom and Kamala? Granted that the inner workings of the minds of certain Democrat voters are deeply recondite to me. But they do seem to fall in line when it counts, or at least they seem to get with the program more readily than Republican voters seem to.

  20. “The corruption is normal business by greedy politicians.”

Um, er, yes, of course, but…disagree as to the SCOPE. No doubt there’s been corruption in the past (politicians, etc.) but NOTHING ANYWHERE approaching this level (though the Clintons are certainly contenders). And especially, nowhere near this INTERNATIONAL scale (ditto with regard to the Clintons)…and NOWHERE as BRAZENLY performed (ditto Clintons…).

It does look like Biden, having “won” the 2020 by a “record” number of votes, is now shooting for the record of Presidential—FAMBLY—Corruption…though this is a record he will most certainly set LEGITIMATELY….
Yep, a shoo-in for a Corruption Olympics (Fools) Gold medal….

And YES, the gaslighting is indeed impressive. (And uber-creative! If consistently nauseating—“Biden” Administration and its Media/Info-tech helots!! take a bow!)

OTOH, WRT Harris, I don’t think that Harris can be discarded so easily, i.e., now she’s in the Vice-Catbird Seat. So perhaps Newsome/Harris (AKA “Tewsome”) for an egregious if “winning” ticket…(or vice-versa(?)..,
Having said that, I’m fairly confident that’s not going to happen; i.e., fairly confident that Obama—oops, I mean Biden—will be running in 2024 (even if he has to be embalmed to do so). Remember, as long as he can move his lips…. (And Disney can do wonders with animation and automation).

    Yeah, I know. Say it ain’t so….
    FWIW…

  21. Gruesome is my bet for 2024, so why not have him as VP if Sundowner becomes too much of a liability?

  22. Even the estimable Miranda Devine—might her middle name be “Simply”?—sometimes gets it wrong…
Shipwrecked Crew with a gentle corrective:
“Miranda — that is only “realized income.” That is the amount he owed taxes on — that is not necessarily all the money that flowed to him from foreign sources….”

(The subject here, needless to say, is…”The smartest guy I know”(TM)…)

  23. Just imagine how much they would have raked in if Hunter wasn’t “coke-addled”…
“Overseas payments to Biden family could exceed $40M, Comer says: ‘This was organized crime’ “—
    https://nypost.com/2023/06/28/comer-says-overseas-payments-to-biden-family-could-exceed-40m/
(Though even $40 mil is small change in this business.)
    Will we ever know?
(Short answer: NO…And if you do kinda’ wanna know, you are obviously a Deplorable Insurrectionist(TM) and AGAINST American Democracy!!)

  24. Here are two quotes from long ago that perfectly describe the USA today.

“Democracy is talking itself to death. The people do not know what they want; they do not know what is the best for them. There is too much foolishness, too much lost motion. I have stopped the talk and the nonsense. I am a man of action. Democracy is beautiful in theory; in practice it is a fallacy. You in America will see that some day.”
    Benito Mussolini

“The press of the USA is free, freer than the press of any other country, so long as it supports the regime.”
    Benito Mussolini

In the latter quote I substituted the “USA” for Italy.

  25. Turley again…for whom, it seems, the penny has fully and entirely—totally and completely?—dropped…
(You may already have seen this, but if not…)
    “The Hunter Biden WhatsApp messages that make the Bidens the GOATs of corruption;
“The Bidens are in a class of their own when it comes to influence peddling”—
    https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/hunter-biden-whatsapp-messages-make-biden-goats-corruption
    H/T Powerline blog.
(GOAT in this case is, of course, Greatest Of All Time…usually used in connection with sports stars, e.g., Lionel Messi.)
    Key graf (RTWT):
“…The last week has shown just how good the Bidens are at this. I previously wrote that there appeared to be an effort in the works to implode the scandal. Not only was the Justice Department allowing the statute of limitations to run on some offenses, but they would likely cut a plea deal for a couple of misdemeanors without any jail time. That is precisely what they did with the help of an enabling media that has largely blacked out the corruption scandal….” [Emphasis mine; Barry M.]

  26. I notice more stories on Biden’s cheat sheets. I think this is to defend him as too senile to face an investigation or trial more than it highlights his senility.

  27. “…an enabling media…”, continued….

“Biden” ‘s “four-legs good, two-legs bad” pit-bull media has regained its stride (IOW its perverse confidence):
    ‘ YouTube repeatedly censors RFK Jr. as Democratic leaders demand reinstatement of 2020 censorship;
‘ House Energy and Commerce Committee Democrats dispute YouTube’s defense of open debate on political ideas, “even those that are controversial or based on disproven assumptions.” ‘—
    https://justthenews.com/nation/free-speech/youtube-repeatedly-censors-rfk-jr-democratic-leaders-demand-reinstatement-2020

    I guess for Democrats:
    a) You can’t have too much of a good thing, and
    b) The “right of censorship” is part of the new, improved “Bill of Rights”…

“Right of censorship”?? That should be “DUTY of censorship”…

  28. Somehow I’m reminded of an old New Riders song:

He’ll be a sniffin’ round the market to buy the things you love
He got a nose for the business it won’t go wrong

    O.K. Hunter.

  29. It appears that one of the more complementary things one can say about the Bidens is that while they may be extortionists, they stay bought…

(Or should that be “contortionists”? “Distortionists”?)
In any event, reliability is certainly a prime ethical imperative. (Just ask any self-respecting hitman worth his or her salt… Actually, all you have to do is ask Honest A. Blinken. He’ll tell ye’. Honest!)

  30. Re: Navy Joan

John Varley wrote a series of science-fiction stories within a future timeline in which (among other things) humanity had used genetic technology so humans could morph themselves into practically anything.

One such human became an entity which could survive within the rings of Saturn. Later, due to a plot crisis, it had to subdivide itself into five child entities; Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.

Every time I hear of Biden’s grand-daughter I think of John Varley.

How does one choose to name a girl “Navy”? Frank Zappa named his daughter “Moon Unit,” but he was an out-there rock star.

  31. huxley, since she’s growing up in a southern location, Arkansas, she may very well go by “Joan.” Using middle names is very common in the South.

What she won’t be called is “Biden,” and considering the noxious reputation of that name, perhaps that is to her advantage.
