On Israel: Biden, the backstabbing viper — 62 Comments

  1. More like, “If ye’ want dessert, eat yer vegetables…DAMMIT!”

(But hey! what’s a little extortion between “best buds”…?)

  2. Their internal polls must show Biden doing horribly in Michigan.

  3. Biden (and Obama (spit!)) is a terrorist funding war criminal.

  4. Might have nothing to do with Michigan. This crap has Obama written all over it.

  5. The viper offered a Choice… uh, choice, to gain the knowledge, if not wisdom, of God.
The scorpion would offer an empathetic entreaty, then betray her faith. Israel, beware.

  6. State and the rest of the executive branch are full of Obama’s people. Biden is the convenient white male fall guy.

  8. As with the Scorpion, Brandon can’t help himself, it is his nature to betray.

  9. Very unpopular with Hamashites. Other than that quibble, the envoy was truthful …..

  10. Might have nothing to do with Michigan. This crap has Obama written all over it.

    Dwaz:

That’s my take. I’m sure Michigan is a cherry on top, but I suspect Biden, as a wannabe/shadow Obama, would be doing this in any case.

In 2023 Biden restored $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds before Michagan was a factor. Which I imagine Iran was happy to use in part to fund Hamas’s 10/7 attack on Israel.

  11. Tangentially related:

As Art Deco noted two days ago, at Connecticut College a majority of the faculty signed a statement of solidarity with the protestors, including some Nazi catch phrases. A lone Jewish professor, Andrew Pessin, issued quite the rebuttal. There are now over a hundred comments on both the statement and the rebuttal, ALL supporting Pessin and condemning the faculty. Yet, on campus “Fuck Pessin” chalkings etc have appeared. Students are demanding his firing, and as usual for the spineless administration..silence.

I hope he has a good lawyer, he’s got a tremendous case of a hostile work environment. I suspect the school will lose all their Jewish students, as should others.

  12. physicsguy, perhaps it may depend on how many of the donors are as crazy as the majority of the faculty. I went to check the website of my alma mater, Colorado College, in Colorado Springs. Monthly mailings have been been getting farther and farther left for years, increasingly awful in the last two years or so. Surprise! The hard-left DEI “woman of color” president of just over two years has “resigned.” Maybe some things were just too much even for CC, which is hard to imagine.

  13. As to Biden, he’s been all for whatever the Democrat party elite are for during his entire life. If the Obama crew want him to betray Israel, he’s happy to do it without compunction, having no discernible principles of his own.

  14. On Israel: Biden, the backstabbing viper

“Viper” connotes too much credit. “Backstabbing Weasel” would have been much more appropriate.

  15. he was a soviet stooge in the 70s and 80s, hence his support of the nuclear freeze, as was panetta and kerry and a host of other luminaries, his judgment
as Bob Gates has noted is always terrible, occasionally he has had flashes of insights, re the Russian willing to accept NATO expansion for instance, he made that statement in 97, he has long had an animus on the issue of settlements, the quixotic notion that Jews cannot live in Arab lands, as they were forced out of nearly every country,

  16. I read someone told the Israelis their war is unpopular in America. Really. .What part of America? I’d need someone to find the trip but if the IDF can use a broken down American Sailor I’ll join in. I’m good at first aid so there is always that

  17. “A senior U.S. official pushed back saying “American diplomats have been engaged with Israeli counterparts. There have been no surprises.”

Speaking as formerly one of those diplomats, let me assure you: they’re lying.

  18. Search on the terms Have Negila Texas style. I wasn’t born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could

  19. Have. Autocorrect. Predators get a bad name. Wolves, tigers, eagles will starve at a salad bar. They need to make a living too don’t they

  20. Several comments here have eluded to it, but the most frustrating thing about the far-left is that they punch so far above their weight. Somehow their narrative becomes THE narrative, even if only a tiny percentage of the population agrees with it.

  21. Jore Biden has been a backstabbing Coward his whole life. Anyone who ever stepped into the ring can tell that. I’m a lousy boxer but I know. I’ll show you my broken left arm which never healed. But did I show pain in front of the Marines who scheduled me?

  23. Kate, you went to CC??!!

Well, back in my youth my family were very much DU hockey fans…CC always seemed to have DU’s number.

  24. Miguel I wish I was there. Maybe you think I’m full of myself and only bragging but it’s the opposite. I trained my whole life for exactly this
I see the Israelis fighting in those tunnels and I can’t help but remember. Vi trained for exactly that. I’m not claiming I’d be good at it. One of the problems with being the thousand pound gorilla in the room, which the US Navy is wherever we sail, is no one tests you. I really don’t know but I’m game for it

  25. Shipboard security engagement tactics. I also want to tell you, Neo. Gerald was a lucky man. Or was it Gerard.?:I mean no disrespect I really don’t. Feel free to hate me

  26. The SEALs taught me not to do things unless I know how to do them

  27. It wasn’t pretty. I went through SERE school with SEALs. Actually my assigned buddy was a recon Marine

  28. I think the point is to teach you that you’re no good on your own. It was never explained to me but it’s what I gathered.

That’s a link to Biden’s interview, by CNN, that was broadcast today.

Starting at about the 9:07 mark, the interview turns to the invasion of Rafah.

Biden says he’ll no longer supply weapons for the invasion of Rafah. He’ll continue to supply weapons for Israel’s defense, like those needed for Iron Dome, but not offensive weapons that could be used against civilians in Gaza.

Without qualification, Biden says that the IDF has targeted Palestinian civilians.

Weasel, viper, fool, knave, idiot, demented, all of the above.

  30. I’m learnin though why people voted for Joe Biden. That’s a sick death wish

  31. Apparently hating Trump results in your own death wish. It’s why I never hated so much

  32. “Weasel, viper, fool, knave, idiot, demented, all of the above.” – Cornflour.

    So true.

  33. “American envoy to Israel” happens to be none other than Ambassador Jack Lew.

    ‘Nuff said…

  34. In my opinion:
for his policy, this pretty much was the point of view of Obama, during the years when Obama was President:

[ 1) the only ones who cause trouble in America are: The Republican people, the conservative people, the Caucasian people, and the rich people.

    2) If there are problems, [in foreign countries], the only one who is causing them is- Israel. […And maybe The US caused some of the [problems in foreign countries], too. ]

I believe that was ex-President Obama’s view of the World, and of The US, while he was President.

And since Joe Biden agreed with Obama all the time,…when Joe Biden was his Vice President, I think those are [Biden’s views of the World, and of The US], as well.

Biden’s actions as President, seem to back up those views.

  35. Biden threatens to halt transfer of offensive weapons to Israel if IDF enters Rafah: https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/biden-threatens-to-halt-transfer-of-offensive-weapons-to-israel-if-idf-enters-rafah/

Which, to me, pretty much guarantees Israel must take Rafah and finish off Hamas, inclusive of its top leadership, whether they are in Gaza or reside elsewhere. Biden/Obama don’t understand how their professions induce the very conditions mandating an outcome the opposite to their desires. Morons! Malevolent imbeciles!

WRT that pier being built to ease the suffering of the “starving” Gazans, for “Biden” it can only be win-win-win, as it:
    – Emphasizes the myth of the “starving” Gazans and keeps that myth in the forefront of the media-propagated, global hit job on the Jewish State.
    – Demonstrates that “Biden” really cares about Gaza.
    – Demonstrates that “Biden” dissents from the decisions of the Israeli government, thus greatly encouraging Hamas and its supporters.
    – Demonstrates that “Biden” does not have Israel’s back, further encouraging Hamas and its supporters.
    – Is a first step in “Biden”‘s plan to have a Palestinian State declared, Israel (and anyone else who objects) be damned.

Moreover, should American soldiers be killed, though let’s hope not, in connection with the pier project, no matter why, then blame can be laid firmly at the doorstep of the Jewish State.

Yep, absolutely win-win-win…for “Biden” and “his” Party of Destruction.

  37. I’m a sailor l. Every sailor was led by me into tight spaces. I wentt first.

  38. Nobody screwed with me. So this is kind of a lie. But I’ve always been a beast. So nobody tried to test me.

  39. I wish I could post pictures. At least you would know I’m not lying about my appearance

  40. If Israel could use a 61 year old 70 percent disabled Sailor. The remaining percentage is still good

  41. Thank you, om, for pointing out that for both Ukraine and Israel, the Biden administration is trying to thread the needle by providing aid, but not enough to win.

  42. Steve, your heart’s in the right place.
Hope that disability can be overcome, or if not overcome then lightened…

  43. That’s what the Biden administration is doing to Israel. If I seem fixated it’s because I am.

  44. I remember my first experience with vipers . It was trying so hard to hide from me. It didn’t even rattle. It just wanted to disappear
