SCOTUS orders temporary halt to the halt of Title 42 — 8 Comments

  1. The reports coming from the border are absolutely horrendous. Thousands of people crossing every day. Being processed and released as quickly as possible.

Vide of one of the processing centers shows hundreds of people packed into a gymnasium size room. Packed so closely together any infectious disease could be easily transmitted. One of the reasons for enforcing a border is to stop disease from entering your country as well as stopping illegal aliens from entering. It isn’t happening.

This is not incompetence, It’s intentional. It makes my blood boil. What kind of national leader does this? Only one who intends to fundamentally
transform the country. Biden is carrying on with Obama’s plans. And the Progressives are cheering it on. Traitors!

  2. JJ (11:36 pm) said: “This is not incompetence, It’s intentional.”

I’ve been saying that for quite a time now. Cloward-Piven on steroids:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloward%E2%80%93Piven_strategy

That and the deliberate importation of hoardes with no grounding in our culture and values, and — unlike (for example) my grandparents, who were eager to become citizens and part of the culture — have no desire to learn and get grounded.

They finally captured enough of the bureaucratic infrastructure to make it happen, and guess what? It’s happening. U.S.A., R.I.P. I really, really appreciate what we were.

(I know, I know, we had our shortcomings, some grievous. Yada yada.)

  3. In one of the weird coincidences that would be dismissed in a novel, the judge who ruled against title 42 is the unhinged Emmett Sullivan of Michael Flynn fame. Then Biden’s DOJ has done a faux appeal the decision. The appeal was to the DC circuit that was famously packed with leftists by Harry Reid during the Obama administration. Now Roberts issued the stay. I bet he will try to have the appeal dismissed for lack of standing.

  4. Interesting but not, of course, surprising

They’re operating full throttle, on all cylinders, at hyper-warp speed…and they think no one is noticing (but if anyone IS noticing, they’re certain that no one and nothing can stand in their way).

Earnest, determined bunch a folks…(brimming over with “passionate intensity”).

  5. Democrats desire the destruction of the US. They keep telling us in all manner of ways. Pay attention to what they do. Pay attention to what they say. They aren’t shy. They hate America. They hate the constitution. They hate the rule of law. They hate Americans.

    They hate. They hate deeply.

  6. In a sane world there would be a wall along the Mexican border, explosives would be planted in the drug tunnels and detonated, and Operation Wetback 2.0 would be launched. Then, existing immigration law would have to be tightened considerably so that far fewer legal immigrants are admitted.

But that’s not what’s happening, which means we may be confronted with the following choices:

    1. Do nothing, and allow the current situation to go on, which seems to be what the uniparty prefers. Of course, in the long term this practically guarantees the eventual fracturing and disintegration of the USA.

    2. Grant amnesty to all “11 million, or however many there are” illegal immigrants currently in the country. This risks voter backlash and maybe even peaceful demonstrations. The ANTIFA and Aztlan goons will be ordered by the FBI to engage the protestors with the intention of producing violence, which will be used to justify the imprisonment of large numbers of middle aged white Americans.

    3. Put troops on the border, hoping that the symbolic show of force will have a deterrent effect. Naturally, if the “refugees” decide the rush the border, they’ll find that the troops don’t actually have any ammo in their weapons on orders from the Pentagon, which means that some number of them will be injured or killed.

    4. Accept that we have lost control of the southern border and large areas of the southwest to the drug cartels and Soros-backed international people traffickers, and begin negotiations with the Mexican government to cede control of those areas and move the international boundaries accordingly. We would have to insist though that Mexico do its part to control the flow of people, and give them powerful disincentives for non-compliance.

  7. stan:

“Democrats” is a very large group. Lots fit your description and lots don’t.

    Too sweeping a generalization.
