Here are some of the actual facts about gas prices. When just now I searched for “Biden says gas was $5 when he took office,” none of the regular MSM was covering it – fancy that! Fox was, the Daily Mail was, and (surprisingly) Snopes was. Snopes didn’t pull its punches, either:
Biden provided two inaccurate figures in the same breath, one about the gas prices when he took office and another regarding costs during the week he spoke in Syracuse.
He gives you his word as a Biden.
If his mouth is talking, he’s lying.
I can’t think of a single redeeming feature of President Biden.
I have to say that I was very surprised today. Tue I bought gas at a Sams for $3.30, down around 13 cents from the past week. Today while at a Sams in another town it was $3.18. Very surprised. I really don’t think it will stay down though. Peak at Sams this summer was something like $3.65 I think.

It was always very difficult for a resident in the hood to avoid voting and difficult to vote for anyone other than a Democrat when voting was supposedly secret at the voting booth. Mailing ballots just made the work of the gangs easier.
In the old days, as election day went on the gangs would get the names of those who had not yet voted and send members to ring doorbells to “remind” them to vote. Now they just demand that the ballots be turned over the day the ballots arrive in mailboxes.
Democrats LOVE that minorities are routinely disenfranchised by criminal organizations. They love it because they are the criminal organization. News media and academics love it, too. Because they are also part of that criminal organization.
If and when they win the midterms, get ready for those gas prices to soar again. There will be no reason left for the Democrats not to price people out of driving and get them onto bicycles.

Expect to see their CEO’s and that of other oil companies dragged before congressional committees to be excoriated for fixing the price of oil, gasoline, natural gas, etc.
This will not be the first time this has happened.
It must be incredibly frustrating , as a CEO of a real business enterprise, to sit before a bunch of moronic, bullshitter, lifetime, societal parasitic politicians, most of whom have never had a real job in their entire adult lives and whom have never created one job, ever, and meekly listen to them in silence as they are scolded and told that they are the problem.

Steve Scalise’s capsule biographies do not indicate what he did for a living between age 23 and age 31. James Clyburn had a half-dozen years as a schoolteacher. Richard Durbin’s law practice had some private clients in addition to his patronage contracts. Otherwise it’s politics all the way for them from about age 25.

Like others here I keep a spreadsheet of my gas purchases. Here are some random entries:
05/03/20: $1.99 per gallon
12/22/20: $2.19 per gallon
There are other prices for 2020; but, nothing topped more than $2.50 for the whole year
Biden takes office 01/20/21
02/06/21: $2.54 per gallon (since Biden took office this was the lowest price per gallon I paid)
07/24/21: $3.17 per gallon
01/15/22: $3.40 per gallon
06/19/22: $4.93 per gallon (this was the most expensive I paid per gallon, ever!)
10/07/22: $3.49 per gallon
Since Biden took office the $2.54 was the lowest price per gallon I paid, and that was early on in his term. Only in the last few weeks have prices dropped a bit – no doubt due to government manipulation via the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Stock release to lower prices in time for the midterm elections.
