Microsoft makes the worst software.
Massive failures in the Amazon Web Hosting system. Estimated 10s of billions in lost revenue to the subscribers.
Sometimes your antivirus program decides to download a new version of the definition file it uses to detect matches. Then all your files can no longer be trusted so it has to scan them all from scratch.
That’s high priority… since an infected file could potentially cost you big bucks. So the user initiated work gets lowered attention until the work is done.
