Trump’s speech — 14 Comments

  1. Far too few GOP office-holders and far too few members of the conservative establishment are willing to fight over what has clearly been a fraudulent election, corrupt even by the standards of the third world. This has led to an assault, from the so-called “conservative” press, on those who are fighting, tooth and nail, for the preservation of the integrity of the electoral process (Giuliani, Lin Wood, and Sidney Powell), and to an abject failure to criticize the worst elements of the Republican Party, most of whom seem content with Mike Lee’s disgraceful globalist coup in the Senate yesterday.

  2. It is an excellent distillation of what went down without his usual hyperbole. The magnitude of what he was saying is profound. It has legs and is a good antidote to the Barr statement. It was pre-taped and I think it was meant to be shown before the case was presented to the Supreme Court but had to be released early to minimize damage from the AP Barr story.

He is going to fight as long as he can. There is no waver in him. So fight with him we must do also.

  3. Thank you for posting the transcript. I watched the video and just wish he’d given the same speech sitting down in an armchair and speaking softly and directly to the camera, like a “fireside chat” instead of shouting from a podium, as a little little hard to listen to…other than that it was excellent, especially the charts–he needs to use more visual aids generally, in my opinion…facts and evidence are clearly on his side. Sadly, GOP establishment, not so much, as we see with AG Barr’s Red-Face Test Failing pronouncements. Which makes me wonder how much Biden Campaign may be paying GOP bigwigs to sabotage President Trump? If Hunter Biden’s laptop gives any idea of the current scale of corruption in the US Government, it may be in the billions. So, I’m praying for a miracle–and it is Christmas-time, so there may still be a chance…

  4. Republican loyalists – especially officeholders – should look on the bright side. There’s hope for the party on the other side of DJT’s second term.
No need to dwell on the black hole without a second term.
Surely they feel the increasing gravity by now.

  5. Spartacus, Amen to your good words.

A man who must depend on weasels and cowards is a very lonely man.

In a play on King Richard’s plaintiff cry, “An AG! My kingdom for an AG!”

  6. I will have to listen to the speech.

“Conservative” take radio in the Northwest has been a huge disappointment. Except for Herman and Larson I haven’t hear much about the stealing of an election. Last night I happen on Shapiro attacking witness testimony about illegal election activities. Makes one wonder how many establishment monies want the pre-tea party GOP back.

I suppose on thing is I can start filtering echo chamber voices who say things like “no evidence” and Rudy’s hair dye out of my media diet.

  7. The President has the right to demand air time. I wonder why he did not exercise this right for this speech…

  8. j e,

“Mike Lee’s disgraceful globalist coup in the Senate yesterday”

I missed it, could you explain or provide a link?

    Banned Lizard,

Collaborators know which side of their bread gets the butter…

    Roy Nathanson,

Bad advice? I’m doubtful that all the backstabbers are gone from Trump’s WH.

  9. Indeed, while unemployment is still high, and likely to higher, AND DOJ is suing Facebook for abusing the H1-B visa process, Mike Lee is busy sponsoring a bill to increase the number of foreign H1-B visas. Disgraceful.

They’re all fully bought and paid for. They do not work for “us”, they work for their corporate masters.

  10. The explanation to the immigration amendment would eliminate restrictions on the number of visas issued to any particular country– benefiting India and China.
I worked with both Chinese and Indian engineers and they will work much cheaper than their American counterpart.

When will Americans realized that any increased foreign immigration suppresses wages in the affected labor market?

This is nothing more than Lee working for big tech– might be worth looking into his finances.

  11. This 45 minute speech took more energy than Joe Biden will be able to expend for the rest of his Presidency no matter how short it may be.
