Horrific terrorist attack in Paris: teacher decapitated for showing the Muhammad cartoons — 14 Comments

  1. The most obvious reason for opposition to large-scale Muslim immigration into Europe is the violence of jihadis, but there exist other, equally important, arguments against this suicidal public policy, including the failure of large percentages of these immigrants to assimilate in any meaningful way, the huge burden of the unemployed and the marginally-employed on society, and, perhaps most of all (shockingly ignored by almost all Western feminists), the mistreatment of their own women by many Muslims and the horrifyingly rampant and brutal abuse by these immigrant men of European women, especially in England, Finland, and Sweden.

  2. the attacker was a resident of a western Paris “suburb”. These “suburbs”are better known as banlieus, mostly public housing of Muslims where gendarmes fear to tread and Sharia law rules.

  3. France is an excellent example of a dysfunctional society committing cultural suicide. The Left has destroyed Western Europe’s belief that it is worth defending and thus worthy of surviving. So it has/is importing the means of its destruction.

In doing so, it is enabling the spread of an ideology which both historically and currently makes Western Europe’s ancestral sins pale in comparison.

  4. According to news reports, Macron is beginning to verbally condemn “Islamism.” It may be too late for France. We’ll see.

  5. “Islamism”

Is this something like Menshevism or Right Deviationism?

    Asking for a Friend.

Or as your average InstaThot (Don’t ask, Boomers :P) might express it: “Islam Gonna Islam”.

  6. A grown man was killed by a teenager with a knife. Said teen ager apparently escaped with no serious injuries.
Better to be prepared if only alert.

  7. Too little, too late.

Macron visited the scene of the attack, saying, “One of our compatriots was murdered today because he taught… the freedom of expression, the freedom to believe or not believe.”

He said the attack shouldn’t divide France because that’s what the extremists want. “We must stand all together as citizens,” he said.

France lost the war when the Charlie Hebdo murders did not lead to any serious change in policies to end the support for terrorists among French Muslims, who clearly do NOT consider themselves as “standing all together as citizens.”

More details are up, but the AP report seems to be the one they are cribbing from.

I didn’t see the school level involved.
I thought that the 18-year-old attacker was presumably a student in the class, or at least the school, which indicates upper level “high school” or college, but he was asking about the teacher, so maybe the actual classes involved were younger.

    More later, I suppose.

  8. I hear they weren’t trying to shoot knife-man in the leg. I wonder if they brought along a psychologist, or social worker, or imam to de-escalate the decapitation? Something about defusing an explosive situation may have been at work. Let’s ask the Vice President.

  9. The victim chose “rock,” which was a fatal error, that options only works for a potentially lethal attack with scissors.

  10. Yes the London Bridge stabby guy was also stopped by application of lead. Intervention with furniture, a fire extinguisher, and a Narwhal tusk only delayed the termination of that mostly peaceful incident. Social workers and psychologists weren’t on hand IIRC.

  11. Sure, you should shoot them in the leg. Also the arms, the torso, the head, and everywhere else.
