The three men who were shot in Kenosha — 16 Comments

  1. I’ve watched the various videos over and over again. Young Rittenhouse was acting in self defense. The only question I have is why he put himself in such a volatile situation? He was not a resident of Kenosha and crossed state lines to be there. Bad choice to visit Kenosha while riots are raging.

I agree with this. But perhaps it was friends or family members he was assisting. That would be understandable.

  3. Sharon W:

I don’t have the link now, but I read that his Facebook page indicated that he was a huge admirer of police and aspired to be one. He had taken some sort of training for people who wanted to go into that field. I think he wanted to be a protective hero.

He also may have known people in Kenosha, or been part of a group that went there, who knew people. He didn’t live all that far away.

  4. It is my understanding that this young man, Rittenhouse, was part of a group, armed people who had requested to be deputized in order to keep more of the car dealerships and other businesses from being burned down. They were not deputized but their presence was appreciated by some of the law officers prior to things going South.

When things became rough and Rittenhouse was physically assaulted with a skateboard and he started running away he was chased, there were shots fired in the area before he slipped down, was almost caught and turned and fired his rifle and hit the convicted sex offender who was after him in the head, in order to get away from the danger before it was over Rittenhouse shot two more convicted criminals killing one and Rittenhouse got away. At one point he went over to police officers with his hands in the air and I don’t know if there was any discussion before Rittenhouse left the area.

No question this was self defense and damn good shooting. Now what are the odds with three social justice protestors being shot, the all have criminal records? Who is recruiting these criminal thugs or do they just show up by themselves to promote ‘No Justice, No Peace’ ?

  5. Yes, good shooting skills. Many, many people in the area hunt and are very familiar with guns.

“This is just one aspect of a larger point that white people need to grasp. None of this would be happening if not for the political class. The Kenosha police department has tanks and armored vehicles. They have highly trained tactical units that are trained by Israel special forces officers. The Kenosha police force could invade a small country, but they are nowhere to be found during these riots. The reason they are absent is the politicians have ordered them to let the riots rage.

This is what makes Kenosha a pivot point in the ruling class revolt. This kid is not a scary monster who can be anathematized by the system. Even vulgarians like David Frum think he looks innocent. Note that Frum is okay giving weapons to these kids when they are killing Muslims on behalf of Israel, but otherwise he never wants to see white people holding firearms. For the typical white person, if he had a son, he would look like Kyle Rittenhouse.

Ultimately, that is now the significance of the Kenosha riots. White people are faced with the reality of their sons being sent to prison for the crime of being white. They face having their businesses destroyed because non-whites are ungrateful. They are being harassed at restaurants and in their home by mobs sponsored by the ruling class who have embraced anti-whiteness as a revolutionary cause. It’s no longer an abstract political argument. It’s daily reality.”

  7. Next time you’re in Starbucks, take a good look at your tattooed and disgustingly body pierced Barista. He (or she cheering him on) is likely to come for you and yours one day. But in a mob and blacked out from head to toe so that the dysfunctional and malicious State can fail to identify or apprehend.

Now I’m not saying that it’s time to take out your local purveyor of caffeinated milkshakes, but it might just be a good idea to start paying more attention to the young hipster types in your area. Sure they’re just the foot soldiers, but the first order of the day is to start actively noticing what is going on in one’s own community.

  8. It isn’t strange but there is a GoFundMe for Skateboard martyr of Kenosha but GoFundMe took down the site for the legal defense of Kyle Rittenhouse.

Don’t bring a skateboard to a gun fight. Was that in the God of Copybook Headings? Another lesson that won’t be learned. Handgun versus a trained rifleman (even when only 17 years old) another life lesson for a felon.

  9. Well the AR-15 platform just got a ringing endorsement from the heartland for the deplorables. Light, controllable, effective. Shotgun, probably not, he may have fired 8 rounds total, I’ve read that shotgun accuracy and effectiveness isn’t what you would expect.

  10. There is also the consideration of controllability and recoil from a 12 ga vs AR-15 and of course magazine capacity.

  11. Personally, I always choose a firearm with rifling over a smooth boar. Rifle or handgun are superior to a shotgun. Accuracy always wins.

  12. om: “Handgun versus a trained rifleman (even when only 17 years old) another life lesson for a felon.”

So true. I carried a 38 revolver when flying in the Navy. I was told by instructors to NEVER try to take on an infantryman with a rifle. The 38 was for killing small game for survival purposes and looking cool in pictures. 🙂

I remember the days when there were government officials that would order looters and arsonists shot on sight.

Sometimes strong measures are required to maintain the peace and security of life and property. Looting and arson are crimes. When committed on a mass basis as they have been the last three months, it’s going to take either overwhelming manpower or overwhelming violence to put a stop to it. So far, the mayors and governors have failed to do either. The longer they fail at their duties, the more likely it is that “vigilantes” will step up. So be it. Law and order may be the deciding factor in Trump’s favor.

I hear that Rittenhouse is getting a good lawyer, Lin Wood. Same attorney that is representing Nick Sandmann. I hope that’s right.

  13. The AR15 has many advantages. But when it comes to a rifle or handgun, I go with 30 cal. However, I enjoy shooting my two 22LR rifles, and would feel competent to defend me and mine with them. However, stopping power is important.

  14. Parker, I too prefer AR to a smooth boar. However, an AR is a ballistic weapon and a pig, wild or domestic, is a self-guiding fire-and-forget weapon.

  15. I have a SKS (7.62×39), A Mauser 48 (8MM), an Enfied Mark 4 chamber in 308 NATO, and a Winchester 1894 chambered for 38/357. All are great shooters. Nothing against 223 platforms, just prefer 30 cal.

My handguns are a S&W model 65 and a Colt 380. The S&W is my bedside gun. The little Colt is my concealed ccarry. Stay armed 24/7.
