Ah, how the mighty have fallen: James Comey’s Deep Tweets — 14 Comments

  1. Yes.

Comey has been musing about “geologic time” recently.

    No reasonable prosecutor he.

  2. Yes, Comey’s reputation is in tatters, but there is little likelihood of any of the pathological liars in the MSM (CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WaPo and countless others) or in Congress (Mad Maxine, Schiff, Nadler, Swalwell and numerous others) or in the Deep State (Clapper, Brennan, Strzok, McCabe and many others) being held to account for their grotesque fabrications and their utterly reckless disregard for facts, evidence, reason and logic.

  3. I hope that all 81 who have been served by the House of Representatives boy band
“Old Nads and the Dingleberries” (thank you Scott Adams)
    Refuse to appear.

And if Old Nads tries to prosecute them, Trump immediately pardons them.

  4. je. The MSM is certainly vulnerable. The inspector general’s report layed out how the reporters were bribing FBI and DOJ members for leaks and access. If it’s a felony to lie to an FBI agent, bribery must certainly be a felony too. The press can scream First Amendment all it wants, but it doesn’t allow them to commit felonies. Elected Democrats seem to be exempt from prosecution, up to and including manslaughter.

  5. “….If it’s a felony to lie to an FBI agent, bribery must certainly be a felony too….”

    Well no, not exactly.

But tweak it a bit and I think you’re on to something:

“…If it’s a felony for a Republican (and/or Trump supporter) to lie to an FBI agent, bribery must certainly be a felony too, for a Republican (and/or Trump supporter….”

There. That should do it. (Alas….)

  6. If brevity be “the soul of wit” and tediousness, “the limbs and outward flourishes” of deceit, then Graham’s response is indeed the sublimest.

And if Attorney General Barr values the rule of law, then Comey will finally be made familiar with Samuel Johnson’s’ “Depend upon it sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.”

  7. That was a killer tweet from Graham.

He’d better not be toying with us. There had better be consequences for this coup attempt.

  8. Someone asked a few days ago something about who would investigate wrongdoing within DoJ, the MSM and Congress. I have a quick question. Why couldn’t President Trump (CinC of all US Armed Forces) turn it over to the US Army Criminal Investigation Command? CID’s website says “As the U.S. Army’s primary criminal investigative organization and the Department of Defense’s premier investigative organization, the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, commonly known as CID, is responsible for conducting criminal investigations in which the Army is, or may be, a party of interest.” With an attempted coup aimed at the Commander of the Armed Forces, this would have to fall within their purveyance.

  9. I hope they do grill Comey. More than that, people should face charges.

John Brennan actually went on MSNBC this morning and said he must have “received bad information.” Does anyone but Joe Scarborough believe that?

  10. John Brennan is a guy I’d like to see receive the Manafort/Stone 6am SWAT team treatment.

Then turn him upside-down for a full-out fishing expedition focusing on his relations to Russia, the old USSR, the American Communist Party, radical Islam and Saudi Arabia.

Plus of course the usual perjury trap treatment and other process crimes.

    Sauce, goose, gander.

  11. “the way of the wicked he turneth upside down” from Psalms 146:9 KJV

“To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand” from Deuteronomy 32:35.\ KJV

Brennan will be “suicided” before Deep State lets that happen to one of their pawns.
