Well, now it has a name — 4 Comments

  1. Mark Felt’s COINTELPRO has been spying on politicians and US citizens for awhile now. It’s nothing new.

  2. Every piece of mail you send/receive is scanned by the USPS. They know I am a lifetime NRA member. They know my bank account. They know everything, including how I think and what I believe and hold dear. I accept that. I know where many of them live and I know how to do recon. Other things that I know I will not say because those are things they don’t know.

  3. Ymarsakar is right. The FBI has been rotten at the top for a long time. I wonder if Louis Freeh had stopped the corruption under his directorship, because he and his bio seemed better than the others.

Here is a new op-ed from the WSJ by Lee Edwards. He was in the Barry Goldwater campaign and is now at the Heritage Foundation.

    Title and subtitle:
“The FBI Spied for LBJ’s Campaign”

“On the president’s orders, the bureau wiretapped Barry Goldwater’s plane and headquarters”

    One money quote:
“Advance knowledge of Goldwater’s travel schedule and advance copies of his remarks were provided by a spy the Central Intelligence Agency had planted in Goldwater headquarters.”

Mr. Edwards supports his claims with references to congressional/senate testimony and FOIA obtained FBI documents.
