Blood feud? — 25 Comments

  1. Ok, fine.

Remains, why didn’t the Clintoons use their Obama opposition research when they could have…
Goes beyond the quid pro quo. That is where the can of worms is ….

Cui bono? Something like dat …

  2. Barry Soetoro is positively frustrated that his civil war project has the ‘slows.’

It’s not his fault that fatalities have been so limited and the war so tardy.

EVERYTHING about Barry is of Hawaii: the politics of ethnic division and ethnic identity expressed in the polling booth. For in that state, race and ethnicity are ALL — issues are just smears on the cake.

  3. Yeah, entering into an agreement with Obama would seem to be a Faustian pact. It’s not if, but when he’ll throw you under the bus.

If I recall correctly, Obama settled Hillary’s 2008 campaign debt upon her entering his administration. That’s a strong incentive to work with him – maybe he’s held that over her ever since.

I also recall Hillary’s chummy exit interview w/Obama on 60 Minutes. Made me wonder if this was something Hillary requested in order to ensure Obama was on record as being pleased with her tenure as SoS.

  4. As tantalizing as that supposed Bill-Chelsea conservation is, are we even all that sure that Bill himself wants Hillary to be president? Sort of hard to believe of a man who is all ego.

  5. Elizabeth Warren? Meh. not the same. Transparently and embarrassingly faux Indian and faux populist. Greedy manipulative old woman uncomfortably similar in character to the one they’re in the process of destroying currently.

Whatever King Putt sez, the media throne sniffers will do but it’s going to be an effort lacking in enthusiasm. No hysterical fainting or gross boyfriend fantasy scenarios on the opinion pages of the NYT.

  6. Obama is entirely predictable. Just ask yourself, WWAD – What Would Alinsky Do? It’s like studying Tai Chi. First you move like this. Then like that. Now be a bird. Now a fountain.

  7. When the Obama Show FINALLY leaves they will totally delete all their emails and burn the hard drives and cite to Hillary’s move as precedent. They’re shaming her now for failure to follow their rules and be transparent but that will all be forgotten by the time it comes to be their time for a dignified exit from public service. It will make the Clinton’s trashing of the White House look like amateur hour.

  8. To the general electorate Elizabeth Warren is not that much of an improvement over Hillary. Nor will she get the minority turnout Obama got. Maybe with Michelle as her VP choice…

  9. I’m pretty much in agreement with neo on this, but there is IMO, zero chance that Hillary ever trusted Obama to keep any promise. She simply had no other politically viable choice.

It was merely a political calculation, probably sold to her by Bill, that without further ‘credentials’ she’d be much less likely to be nominated in 2016. Her time as a Senator gave her the domestic credentials she needed and as SecState she got the foreign credentials she needed. That she was notably ineffectual at both is irrelevant if she gets the nomination.

And yes, all indications are that it’s Warren, as both Patrick and Michelle are non-starters and O’Malley, misdirection (there has to be the appearance of a field of candidates in 2016).

I would only add that I now suspect that it was Obama who instigated and urged his 300 former staffers to sign the letter to Warren urging her to run in 2016, rather than him just giving prior approval. It may not have been his idea but the letter was never even drafted before his signing on to the idea and giving approval for it to happen.

  10. “When the Obama Show FINALLY leaves they will totally delete all their emails and burn the hard drives” AMartel

Without a doubt, traitors and criminals with even half a brain, eliminate as much as possible, the evidence of their crimes.

    G Joubert,

Compared to Hillary, Warren is a fresh face. They’ll vote for Warren to keep the public trough open. Look for a male Hispanic as VP.

  11. What we need is a non-RINO Republican to win and employ an updated version of denazification to pry the lefties’ hands from the levers of power throughout government. (Abolishing most of the levers would be even better.) …a guy can dream, can’t he.

  12. There’s a little bit of poetry in Hillary getting stabbed in the back by Obama, after betraying so many herself. And I really hope this continues beyond 2016. Obama is not going to show the respect and appreciation for tradition that previous presidents have. He’ll stay in DC and use OFA to cause trouble for republicans, and democrats who don’t toe the line. If Bill Clinton is angry enough we will finally get Obama’s grades and Michelle’s thesis. Too late for Obama’s election and too late to save the country, but it will be fun.

  13. I would love to see a full-on civil war within the Democrat Party. It’s a cobbled-together coalition whose constituent parts don’t necessarily see eye-to-eye. Blacks don’t like gays, Hispanics don’t care much for blacks, ultra-rich vs. welfare leeches, union members vs. eco-nazis, etc.

Bring it on. I’ll make the popcorn.

  14. I thought Elizabeth Warren was bad enough, but the thought that Joe Biden could possibly be elected President gives Mars colonization a new and sudden urgency.

  15. Ann: “As tantalizing as that supposed Bill-Chelsea conservation is, are we even all that sure that Bill himself wants Hillary to be president? Sort of hard to believe of a man who is all ego.”

IMO, Bill plans to be Hillary’s Valerie Jarrett. He wants to get back in the White House to show what he, through Hillary, can do. Plus, he misses all the perks, especially Air Force One. Obama flies a lot, but the Clinton’s used the airplane for personal travel all over the world. I think they abused the perk more than Obama does.

Ed Klein’s book is more like gossip, but a lot of it seems to have some substance. Or maybe he guessed right about which way the winds are blowing between the Obamas and Clintons. Whatever, Hillary’s in pretty deep doo doo. Megyn Kelly is pursuing a form that all high government officials are required to sign a form (OF-109) swearing that they have turned all their documents (files, e-mails, letters, etc.) over to the government as part of the public record. Obviously, Hillary didn’t do that. She held back 55,00 e-mails. That much we know. Not complying with this document is punishable as a felony. (18 USC 1001)

  16. I was quite surprised to see that Elizabeth Warren has the fourth best score amongst Democrats on The Club For Growth’s 2014 scorecard. Of course all Democrats scored substantially worse than even the lowest scoring Republican.

  17. Let me see if I got this right:

A liar entered into an agreement with another liar and is now upset that the other liar didn’t keep his promise?

Hey, maybe there is such a thing as karma after all.

  18. I still find it hard to believe in this day of utter lawless government that anyone in their right mind would give up control of the panopticon to anyone. Just as Ebola the first might burn the house of Clinton to the ground, Liawatha might burn the house of Ebola to the ground. Sort of like that Star Trek with Evil Spock.

  19. Remember Moochel is every bit the narcicist Barry is. They may be trying to oust Hillary so the BIG M can swap places with Barry.
