Zimmerman trial — 6 Comments

  1. Oh, Im interested. In my mind this is another battle in asserting the power of narrative over facts and the rule of law. Its chilling Zimmerman is even on trial.

    See this.

I was on the fence about the need for a trial. After all a young man was killed and perhaps some look into the facts is necessary.

Not after reading that. It was a race hustling joke from the beginning, albeit not a very funny one. The police and local prosecuting attorney all thought it was clearly self-defense.

This is a political trial now to appease the race mob.

  3. From what I have read so far, it is not going well for the prosecution.

On the other hand, I have thought all along that the trial came about because of fear; and I expect Zimmerman to be convicted for the same reason.

I would not be surprised if the jury were told–maybe with a thin veneer of sugar coating–that they must convict to protect their community from what happened in LA following the Rodney King episode. I had occasion recently to read some descriptions of the open warfare that went on in LA, and it was chilling.

By the way, along those lines there have been multiple LA police gunned down execution style in the last couple of days, and there is speculation, and only speculation, that it is revenge for the Christopher Dorner affair.

  4. I fear for Zimmerman and his family no matter what the verdict may be. If he is acquitted he will probably face a civil lawsuit from TM’s parents seeking damages. They already shaken down the home owners association.

“By the way, along those lines there have been multiple LA police gunned down execution style in the last couple of days, and there is speculation, and only speculation, that it is revenge for the Christopher Dorner affair.”

This is really disturbing. What’s next, naming a park in Boston after the Tsarnaev brothers?

  5. I agree, it is an obscenity that he is even on trial in the first place. The police let him go on the night of the incident, which means they considered the killing justified. That should have been the end of it.

If he is convicted, it will mean the criminalization of a white man defending himself against a black thug. Who needs gun control? Just make it a crime to use them.

And yes, Eric Holder is salivating over the prospect of a federal “civil rights” lawsuit.

  6. From open source data mining, I infer that most of the populace believes the Left’s propaganda. Even the self confessed experts in martial arts and self defense. Or perhaps, especially those people, who have never spent a day studying propaganda or human manipulation.

The Left picks off people one by one. Meanwhile, some people are waiting for a big enough illegal crime that people will be forced to take sides.

By the time that even happens, it’ll be far too late.
