Helen Thomas, Playmate of the Month — 26 Comments

  1. The words “Helen Thomas” and “Playboy” should NEVER be in the same sentence. Not even the same paragraph.

  2. The caption for this article produces a severe cringe moment in the male psyche. I’m emotionally crippled for life. 😉 Helen Thomas is my image of what a fairy tale wicked crone looks like. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

And yes, she was not harmless.

  3. The words “Helen Thomas” and “Playboy” should NEVER be in the same sentence. Not even the same paragraph.

Not even on the same internet.

  4. How about agreeing to keep Helen Thomas and Playboy in separate alternate universes? I know I’ll sleep more peacefully.

  5. Yet another example of an Arab surprise attack on innocents. Those poor people reading Playboy… My heart grieves for the empty sockets where their eyes used to be.

  6. Hey Helen ain’t that bad. You guys apparently don’t have the Jackie Mason and crusty elbows fetish. 🙂

  7. vanderleun at 4:21 pm,

Now your psyche is scarred and only Obamacare can heal you. But I must warn you that the waiting period for reconstructive psychic surgery under Obamacare is 57.246 years.

    SteveH,

Jackie Mason I can take, crusty elbows I can take, Helen Thomas pinups I can not take.

  8. What a disgusting, despicable, lying troglodyte. Playboy must be incredibly desperate if they come calling on a 90 year old hag for an interview. I wonder if she was compensated in eye of newt. Halal, of course.

  9. Upon reading the first line of this post, the single thought that popped into my head was, “Is Jimmy Carter next?”
If Playboy feels it is time to change the format of starring nubile young Playmates named Bambi or Barbi or Gigi (must admit the names are less indication of intellect as the fact they are posing…and for a lucky few it’s actually jump-started a couple of careers I suppose) but if Helen Thomas qualifies visually, Jimmy a natural to follow!

Hmm…might be a new trend. Vogue recently featured featured Syrian dictatorBashar al-Assad’s wife Asma in all her splended luxury & couture clad loveliness as a rising star in the Middle East (never mind the peoples’ rebellions simultaneously taking root and growing daily…) The magazine celebrated her style, her very brief career as a banker, and her status of the modern woman who “..does it all”

And let us not forget the glorification of Daisy and Faisal al Abdul Rauf whom the MSM has presented to us as the leaders of the bridge to peace — even as they insisted on building their Mosque right at Ground Zero with all the sensitivity of a piece of newsprint upon which the NY Times might be printed.

Is this the way the MSM has decided to prove once and for all that they are NOT the ignorant Left-leaing “patriots” who would condemn us, ignore the economic patronage (which all too often finds its way into the bank accounts of these privieged ones, instead ot the people of the countries for whom it is intended…) Is this the way they plan to reeducate us (if they consider us educated in the least at present) by plying us with dictatorial, anti-Semitic, couture-clad “celebrities”who we miss in all our ignorance…….???

And interesting that Helen Thomas c.v. is a chronological listing of the jobs she has held with no comment on HOW she did those jobs, WHY she left them and not a single award won plying her “craft” in all that time other than the fact that she’s still going at her advanced age (never mind being fired form her last gig…or any explanatoin of why!)

We thought there were problems before with the dearth of objective reporting of news a.k.a. Journalism. Well, they’re just gearing up for another assault on our intelligence and the brain-washin of those so young in our society that are quite willing to believe, espec. given the lack of information to counter such bias (or the threat of poor grades if they do not agree with the prosthelatizing teachers/professors and media outlets which completely surround them.

(For anyone interested in the article on Asma al Bashar — a few paragraphs will do ya’:

Be sure to glance thru the comments which are amusing if nothing else: One reader ascribes to the dictator’s wife as a Goddess who does it all! But their are also comments from those who clearly come from Syria or adjacent areas in Middle East who want to clarify the record (never mind that their basic hatred of Jews and Israels is one of their favorite tools for doing so!

  10. JLK,

I had no idea that eye of newt, wing of bat, or skin of toad could be Halal. I learn something new everyday. Thanks.

  11. JLK:
I wonder if she was compensated in eye of newt. Halal, of course.>/i>
FYI: Helen Thomas is Christian. She is not the only Joo-hating Arab Christian around. I have known some.

  12. I have always wondered whether “journalists” were insecure people who harbored a grudge against anyone who may be successful. It does seem that the vast majority of their actions are built around destroying others in order to feel good about themselves.

  13. She did apparently clear up one thing–the Jews are in charge in the White House. Whew.

  14. Just to clarify – when Thomas said “Go back to Poland and Germany” there was not a single Jew who doubted that what she really meant was “Get back in the ovens, k*kes”.

  15. Gary Rosen: in the many months since Helen Thomas gave her opinion on the matter, nowhere have I read that anyone has ever asked Helen Thomas: what about the Sephardic Jews in Israel? Should they go back to the Muslim countries they or their ancestors came from? Should they be compensated for the property they left behind? When they were practically booted out of their old countries, how welcome will they be if they return?

No one ever asks her THAT.

As you point out, telling Israeli Jews to go back to the countries associated with the ovens says quite a lot.

  16. Gringo – have facts and logic *ever* mattered to antisemites? If they did, they wouldn’t be antisemites. A sufficiently high IQ (i. e. anything over 40) also tends to be prophylactic.

  17. I’m gonna need brain bleach to forget about even reading this here post.

  18. Are you quite, quite sure that the picture (tinypic ref by Vanderleun) isn’t of Madeleine Albright ?

Helen Thomas never looked that good.

  19. “Madeleine Albright…. Helen Thomas never looked that good.”

    That’s a game winner!

  20. Wow – Helen Thomas and Madeline Half-bright – Playboy’s “Featured Sisters” – now that would be enough to send anyone running to a toilet for a very long time. Seriously, though, I think it is more than coincidence that Madeline’s name came up in this discussion. They deserve each other – a virulent anti-Semite and a self-hating Jew who loves Islam. A match made in Heaven.
