The Sanity Squad goes to Washington — 6 Comments

  1. On the subject of sanity…why is it that if you lose it they say you’re in-sane? Shouldn’t you really be considered out-of-sane?!

    But I digress…

  2. So…a consensual affair between two adults is “execrable behavior” worthy of a $30 million dollar investigation and impeachment, but soliciting a minor over the internet is a “kerfuffle” and a “brouhaha,” and no investigation of a coverup is warranted.

  3. sanity? you? the only context you use the word is to criticise the lack of it in others. You would have fitted right in as a psychiatrist in the old soviet union. Pathologising dissent is all you can do.

  4. Sorry, no time to listen — where is the automatic voice to text?

We’re not very close to the Singularity when we don’t have this — though IBM may have such a system for Arabic to text to English…

Soliciting a minor is illegal, but a 16 or 17 year old young man is not a minor in DC. Perjury is illegal, and is certainly worth a $30 mil. investigation if the President is lying about what he did.

Believing intelligence that turns out to be wrong is not lying, but it’s a mistake.

  5. Tom Grey misses the point, of course. Foley preyed on young men for whom he was supposed to provide guidance and supervision. Gee, if Foley was a teacher in Liberty Dad’s school district and he hit on his 16 or 17 year old son or daughter, I’m sure he’d be all for it, sexually lewd messages and all! Clinton, of course, was a victim of a political witch hunt and was right to fight it. Remember, the GOP knew about and protected Foley at the same time it was impeaching the president. Yep, GOP stands for Gang of Predators awright!
