  1. From what I understand, studios protected their stars from public scrutiny in the past. Though no one has ever protected them from the studio itself.

  2. still retains some ability to surprise.

Not to me. In fact you or others here will be surprised to know all the things they aren’t telling you…

  3. Look up the history of Monroe.

    https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/the-hidden-life-of-marilyn-monroe-the-original-hollywood-mind-control-slave-part-i/

This is not to say all the research is finalized. This hasn’t been verified through my own original trinity of methods, but there is enough here that has substance to it that people should not think that “Hollywood” only got problematic in the 1990s due to Clinton or the Democrats…. it’s been like this for awhile.

And ALL the money people here sent to them, went to “good causes” ; ) Yea right.

  4. Now when I think about the movies it seems to me as though they are like the pyramids, built on the backs of slave labor.

Humans can get slaves to build a pyramid of Giza that has mortarless stone to such a fine control that you can’t put a razor blade between the stone when fit together? With tolerances to True North and other stellar constellations higher in precision than the engineering used for the tiles on the space shuttle?

    That’s some “slave tech” there.

  5. “voluntarily use their sexuality as coin of the realm,”

They’re called prostitutes, and my guess is that all the star actors and especially actresses were, to some extent, selling their sexuality.

Many folk feel that being a “wage-slave” instead of doing what you love is a form of prostitution, too.

I’m very glad the sex abusers are being outed. I think it will change Hollywood, a bit for the better, tho such abusive old ways will come back.

Because young beauties are willing “to do anything” to get a big part in a movie.

  6. Sexual harassment, and plenty of plain old sex. The brother of a former girlfriend went to work on a movie and one of the women (girls?) came by and gave him a BJ by way of welcome. He wasn’t upset 😉 but definitely surprised.

  7. Morally bankrupt people must find something to distract themselves from the pretense that is their lives. This has however given me a fresh appreciation for why acting was once considered a disreputable occupation. Though to be fair, the public’s craving for being entertained is the ‘demand’ that drives the ‘supply’. Lives devoid of meaning crave hedonistic pleasures to fill the emptiness. Ultimately, they are to be pitied.

  8. I imagine one of the happiest people about these developments might be Bill Cosby, who can now say he was just doing what everybody does and that others were hypocrites for acting as though his predations were anything special.

    have you met the man?
I was at the studio the day his son died..

While many comics of the time were using the growing freedom of that decade to explore material that was controversial and sometimes risqué, Cosby was making his reputation with humorous recollections of his childhood. Many Americans wondered about the absence of race as a topic in Cosby’s stories. As Cosby’s success grew he had to defend his choice of material regularly; as he argued, “A white person listens to my act and he laughs and he thinks, ‘Yeah, that’s the way I see it too.’ Okay. He’s white. I’m Negro. And we both see things the same way. That must mean that we are alike. Right? So I figure this way I’m doing as much for good race relations as the next guy.”

that is so out of character that one has to be a non person imagination generated thing to toss ideas on. (i am not saying he did or didn’t do anything, but that THAT is so out of character of his personality).

where were you in the 60s? when America got its real hip on in drugs, parties, orgies, and more? Tune in Turn on Drop out. Does Summer of Love ring a bell? “Free love” movement? Where were you in the 70s? The cocaine 80s? the birth of the jet set life? the opening of places like Plato’s Retreat, playboy going mainstream, and more… lots of people regret things they did in those years… people regularly got zonked and some were molested and knew it, some were molested and didn’t, and some weren’t molested and believed they were.

lets go back to a stroll down memory lane of what was going on in these years that make this an even MESSIER warm steaming you know what all over…

‘Batman’ star Adam West had sex with eight women a night
    https://pagesix.com/2017/06/12/batman-star-adam-west-had-sex-with-eight-women-a-night/

behind the mask was a sex-mad actor who slept with up to eight women a night – and turned to booze when the show was axed.

He and co-star Burt Ward, who played sidekick Robin, also romped with eager groupies in their dressing rooms in between scenes.

he wrote a book about it..
“Burt and I were like kids in a candy store. It was the Swinging Sixties with free love and women threw themselves at us. I remember one night with eight different women. Orgy is a harsh word, but it was eight at one time. I’d have young female co-stars in my dressing room at 7:45 in the morning.”

George Simenon claimed to have sex with l0,000 women
    Wilt Chamberlain with 20,000…

  9. I agree the Birth Control Pill started the sexual revolution. Even before that, however, Hollywood was a pretty wild place. While making the movie Red River, Joanne Dru and John Ireland were having sex “every time they found a level spot.” That., of course, was Howard Hawks’ version and I think he was annoyed because he wanted her for himself.

Louis B Mayer molested Judy Garland when she was 12.

  10. Think about the industry itself. It is based upon the premise of individuals spending their entire lives pretending to be someone other than themselves. The better they are at this, the more they are worshiped. Those who have chosen to promote and control them believe in this fallacy as well. Hence the industry itself is based upon a vane and shallow premise. In Shakespeare’s time, actors where considered to be from the lowest levels of society. Here we are some four hundred years later with the same level of intellect in the Guild. Why should we be surprised?

  11. Trouble with the flood of allegations of remote events is which of them are true, which are exaggerated (He touched me! Name of a gospel song BTW!), and which are attention-seeking total falsehoods?

  12. Howard Hughes owned RKO Pictures and had actresses (starlets?) stashed all over LA in what were referred to as “fuckpads.” He cast them in films as favors whenever they’d earned his favor.

A “pyramid of slaves” seems lacking in force when you take into account that these were all entirely willing slaves — indeed they would they often stalked those with real or perceived power in order to offer their bodies.

The ideal of being shown onscreen and becoming a lower-case god has reigned in America for a hundred years (more or less).

  13. If you’re in Kansas and grow up notable beautiful: “You ought to be a movie star.”

Well, how is this achieved? You take a bus to Los Angeles and then what? You get some low-level job somewhere and meet others of your ilk and hope and strive to e noticed. What does “being noticed” mean?

You serve a hamburger to Michael Douglas, exchange some banter, and then what? What do you hope will happen next?

  14. Of course, the whole t hing is sordid. What is even more sordid is the amount of political clout these utterly amoral people wield.. Stop going to movies! Read books. If you need multisensory stimulation, read them aloud.

This open sore of American life is kept infected by the constant re-feeding of money and attention. Dry them up!

  15. Alcoholic epilepsy is descriptive, but the more correct term is delirium tremens, which occurs when alcohol consumption by an alcoholic is suddenly stopped without coverage by medications to prevent hallucinations (seeing ‘pink’ elephants) and seizures….like Valium or any other member of the benzodiazepine group, still good meds for that. Not available til the 1960s though!

In addition, it is very likely Mussorgsky had alcoholic cirrhosis, and thus liver failure contributed to his demise. You will note in Repin’s portrait a distended abdomen, likely the fluid of ascites, in a man who had been reduced to living in the gutter for some time before his terminal hospital stay. Liver failure causes a rise in blood ammonia(yes!) levels, which becomes fatal.

Apparently, grossly excessive alcohol consumption in Modest’s day was seen as a revolutionary act, an almost obligatory feature of being in the arts. Perhaps like the birth of our national infatuation with drugs in the 1960s-1970s: One was not cool unless one dropped acid, etc..

Oddly, he was a bureaucrat, a Russian gov’t employee. Today, in the USA, he’d likely be a member of the Deep State, suborning from within.

I am not persuaded this Mussorgsky topic is at all relevant to the revolting state of Hollywood, but it is sure interesting in and of itself. Thanks for the digression, Chuck.

  16. This has however given me a fresh appreciation for why acting was once considered a disreputable occupation.

The ancient Romans had actors entertaining them via Sado Machistic sexual plays and prostitution. That applied to girls and boys. A high level Roman citizen would often taunt his wife saying the boys felt better than her because she wasn’t willing to do anal with her husband. A Roman matron’s status was equal to her child birth abilities and output, thus the virtues were connected to it. Sexual entertainment was the role and job of “actors”. She, thus, was not an actor and refused to play the part or lower herself to a social position beneath her.

Hollywood isn’t all that different from the Romans in this venue. The actors entertain, but part of their job is something most people in the evil capital know about.

As for ultimately, ultimately true Christians should try to recruit an army for the Christ’s Kingdom here. As prostitutes and tax collectors were always made more loyal disciples than Pharisees or high social status Sadduccees.

There’s no reason to try to recruit too many Hollywood directors, but their victims make for a truly amazing potential human mass. As Marxism knew to do, if you cannot occupy the mainstream, you have to go downstream and talk to the downtrodden masses that have no power or say or social status.

While Hollywood staff have “social status” to us, their own internal social status is very rigid and almost like a latifundia slave farm. Easy pickings for the priests of the Savior who promises eternal life.

Who in Hollywood would even want eternal life with their lives? Their lives are more like hell. Thus eternal life paired with freedom from the chains of evil, would be a very favorable deal to many.

It all started with Gibson’s Passion movie. Some of the actors in it, were Christians, and they developed quite the interesting resistance network as a result.

  17. Frog, your medical description of Mussorgsky’s alcoholism and likely death from complications of cirrhosis is interesting indeed. As to the comparison to 1960’s drug use, he also joined a commune!

The relevance to the sorry state of Hollywood is only that many artists have tortured and disgusting personal lives. It’s nothing new, except perhaps the extent of pedophilia and how it has been tolerated. I had been an admirer of Kevin Spacey’s acting. I thought his performance in American Beauty was exceptional. But with these revelations his career and body of work are dead, at least for me. Maybe in 130 years his best stuff will be remembered as great. But unlike Mussorgsky, I doubt it.

  18. A “pyramid of slaves” seems lacking in force when you take into account that these were all entirely willing slaves – indeed they would they often stalked those with real or perceived power in order to offer their bodies.

This is Slavery 3.0, a Leftist upgrade from the Confederacy’s Slavery 2.0 or the bond servant Slavery 1.0 of the Greeks or Hebrews.

In 3.0, the slaves believe they are free and they enjoy life. Because they have far greater comforts than “house slaves” or “house servants”.

As I wrote to Neo ages ago on Jim Jones, JJ’s control method was too inefficient and weak.

If you need to control humans with guns and threats, your control must be an Iron Hand. But if you control humans with orgies, pleasure, and social status, then they will willingly stay enslaved.

How much better and easier to maintain is that compared to trying to shackle them physically. Shackle them Mentally with Mind Control instead with Slavery 3.0.

    That’s the upgrade.

  19. I had been an admirer of Kevin Spacey’s acting.

I don’t expect most humans to see through the illusions of this matrix world. That is why they act. THey pretend to be someone they are not. That is what is being sold and that is what Americans buy.

    It’s not even false advertisement.

Almost everyone uses masks to hide their true selves in civilization. It is almost a requirement. Politeness, saying and doing things just because it looks good. It’s not really how people think and feel. It’s their mask. They are acting a part. And they deceive themselves and others naturally.

The people that can’t do that, are usually the autistic, or those who feel too high a loyalty to truth or their own true selves. Their own best selves alternatively.

I predict now that anti Hollywood sentiment is the new band wagon, more people will jump on it. But never think for a moment that just because one of you are jumping on it now, meant you were better than the people who saw it decades ago and jumped off the Hollywood entertainment band wagon.

The proof of whether humans are obeying their conscience or their society’s morality is really whether they do things against the majority consensus or for it. Their actions in the dark is what matters, when nobody is looking. Their friends are not important for their character evaluation, their enemies are.

What won’t enter America’s heads to do is to repent and realize the part they have played in fueling the profit of evil. After all, if actors are Hollywood’s sex slaves, who paid for those sex slaves? The money did not come from the government. It came from private purchases of movie tickets, private worship of these idols as famous individuals.

Kevin Spacey, his acting is so good right? That’s just one example. What about everyone else. Did you tell your circle of relations of all the evil going on as you admired your actors? If you did not, you contributed to the Glorification of the American Idols and gods.

And humans pretend to proclaim that they believe in no gods… hah.

  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rzJTnuLjZ0

The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse.

    The Demons of the Left.

Titles that are too grand and magnificent to be given to humans like Hitchens or Sam Harris.

Foolish mortal humans that think themselves gods.

See those kiddies on the video? They’ll be your children’s masters in a few years.

  21. I think the night show hosts are being protected and left unscathed in the current scandals because they are the left’s final frontline against trump. Do you really believe Colbert, Stewart and bill Maher don’t take advantage of success seeking women like so many other big name Hollywood executives? The left will be completely defeated if big time night show hosts and comedians fall as well.

  22. The Left isn’t so weak that getting rid of a few oxygen thief clowns like Maher, is going to defeat them.

It’s nice to dream of, since if you came from the Left, you are an apostate for converting. And the Left, like Islam, has specific penalties for apostasy.

  23. I would contribute to a “Go Fund Me” site to pay for Billboards around Hollywood prior to the Oscar’s and Emmy’s telling the attendees and award recipients NOT to lecture us about us being deplorables.

  24. The money did not come from the government. It came from private purchases of movie tickets, private worship of these idols as famous individuals.

Actually, as digital entertainment, the money DOES come thru the gov’t protection of copyright monopoly.

Digital info could be distributed “according to the wants” (not the “needs”). Info socialism, unlike real products, could work.

The gov’t should stop enforcing digital copyrights.

  25. McGowan’s timing was puzzling until the bizarre situation in D.C. became known. Most people caught with drugs are in the process of boarding, there’s not usually anyone looking at you when you leave. Maybe there will be more information to make it understandable.

For the following: I am not a lawyer but I haven’t come across anything about how enforceable the NDA, might be. Outside of the Streisand effect. I’d be interested in a better informed opinion.

As far as NDA’s are concerned, they are just a form of contract and subject to all of the limitations. Especially the public interest. I can’t imagine that one could be enforced against disclosure of criminal conduct. Especially one that was signed in advance. Those like Weinstein’s that were executed after the fact undoubtedly contained language that defined his conduct as lawful and consensual. While this would make a prosecution difficult, it would not prevent the government from concluding that a crime had, in fact, taken place.

Some authorities might even look at such language as “redefining black as white” and as evidence of bad faith. This likely puts a lawyer drafting such an agreement walking close to the edge of collusion and accessory. That’s how I would interpret it if I were on a jury.

  26. Actually, as digital entertainment, the money DOES come thru the gov’t protection of copyright monopoly.

Only if you believe as the MPAA does, that they are losing money via piracy.

That’s sort of like saying TEsla’s money came from the government, because the government allowed his patents.

  27. The gov’t should stop enforcing digital copyrights.

Hollywood doesn’t even pay taxes. Not the one that matters.

So where do you think Congress is getting their donations from? Hollywood launders it. So is Congress going to do what you want, how much can you bribe em with? Far less than the hotties from Hollywood like Monroe and the money bags that come with it.

Copyrights are probably a money sink for the MPAA. Because they have to pay money just to crush the competition. This isn’t their income, the way the propaganda says.

  28. Oxford professor Tariq Ramadan has now been accused of rape and sexual assault by three women. A quote in this article about it reminds me of Claude Rains in Casablanca being “shocked” to learn that gambling was going on at Rick’s place; it also captures some of the reaction to the revelations about Hollywood:

Bernard Godard, who was considered the “Monsieur Islam” of the French Ministry of the Interior between 1997 and 2014, was well acquainted with Mr Ramadan, a prominent Islamic scholar and grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

When asked whether he had any knowledge of the rape and sexual assault that Mr Ramadan is now being accused of, Mr Godard insisted he had “never heard of rapes” and that he was “stunned”.

“That he had many mistresses, that he consulted sites, that girls were brought to the hotel at the end of his lectures, that he invited them to undress, that some resisted and that he could become violent and aggressive, yes, but I have never heard of rapes, I am stunned,” he told French magazine L’Obs.

  29. “So the abusive behavior becomes normed, at least among those who stay. ” – Neo

    Cue Alexander Pope:
“Vice is a monster of so frightful mien
    As to be hated needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace.”

This could explain why the Left makes such vitriolic claims that some Conservative or Republican person or idea is being “normed” by simply being discussed or presented.
They know how it works, because they have experienced it — and because they depend on the same psychological phenomenon to push their own agenda and ideology.
