Warmbier’s injuries — 6 Comments

  1. so glad that President Trump is now our president, I know very well now that if i find myself in serious trouble oversea Donald will come to my rescue because he treats every American as his child/parent, regardless of your political standing. Obama doesn’t give a darn about Americans, he didn’t exchange 5 terrorists for the release of bergdahl, he was only finding an excuse to get rid of his comrade jihadists so he could close down guantanamo bay

  2. What did his parents know about this and when did they know it. To find out when, say, he was on the plane and American doctors examined him and phoned back to the US……..

  3. one of the reasons i loved Trump so much since the beginning of the election was Trump’s stern fathery vibe i get from him, totally reminded me of Reagan. Trump to me is not just my president, i get the feeling that he is like my dad or something with the “he might be old and grumpy and always nagging but when you are in trouble you know he will come to your rescue and set things right” vibe. I never get the vibe from clinton, bushes or obama, they all give me a feeling they would throw any american under the bus if needed to.

  4. one of the more despicable aspects of Obama’s tenure was his neglect of imprisoned Americans, unless he could make a political splash out of “rescuing” them — except he never did figure out how to tell the good guys from the bad guys.

Milo Y. calls Trump “Daddy” – FWIW.

BTW, he is self-publishing his book and suing the publisher that dropped him.

  5. Yep.

FRED WARMBIER: When Otto was first taken, we were advised by the past administration to take a low profile while they worked to obtain his release. We did so without result. Earlier this year, Cindy and I decided the time for strategic patience was over.

We made a few media appearances and traveled to Washington to meet with [Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Korea and Japan] Ambassador Joe Yun at the State Department.

It is my understanding that Ambassador Yun and his team, at the direction of the president aggressively pursued resolution of the situation.

They have our thanks for bringing him home.

  6. Just saw a report saying he died. Perhaps the left can realize that there are real enemies out there, and Trump isn’t one of them.
