A heartbreaking message from Iraq — 8 Comments

  1. Heartbreaking indeed. His government (and the Church of England) should get him out of there.

That interview could become iconic and will if that’s his last.

No fear? My God, what faith! Or is it resignation?

  2. Cue the Mariachi ba… uhmmm… NATO… Uhhh… the United States, i.e., the Idiocracy.

  3. It’s similar to why the NOPD went AWOL during Katrina. Except they didn’t have the excuse of not being a democracy for more than a few years.

  4. But, worry not: Obama is sending 3,000 troops to….where?….Liberia.

    My God.

  5. So, the Iraqi army is not going to be a factor in the defeat of ISIS, which leaves Iran because Obama has no intention whatsoever to defeat ‘ISIL’. That is proven by the US airstrikes NOT targeting ISIS’ tanks and artillery. IMO, it’s doubtful that Iran can defeat ISIS as long as they have those tanks and artillery.

Which means that in a few years we will either have a greatly enlarged nuclear Iran OR a Sunni Caliphate, that will look to procure nukes from Pakistan.

And, if Iran can’t stop ISIS and they take Iraq and Syria, the low hanging fruit of Lebanon and Jordan will be next. Then four conditions eventuate; Israel will be nearly completely surrounded by ISIS. ISIS will look toward the Kuwait and Saudi eastern oil fields. Should they secure them, the Strait of Hormuz, through which 1/3 of the world’s oil passes, will be under the guns of two radical regimes. Nuclear armed regimes. And the price of crude will skyrocket with ‘radical’ Islam having a stranglehold on the West’s economies.

And of course all of this ignores ISIS cells infiltrating into America over our open southern border.

  6. What a coincidence that all the bombing was on empty logistical bases for ISIL. While AQ got hit a bit harder. Coincidence?
