Hostage deals, Rafah, Biden, and more — 11 Comments

  1. So he’s going to arm more of Israel’s enemies… Does FJB really want the IDF to have to resort to nuking something?
‘Cos he might just get that.

  2. Report: Emergency government close to collapsing National Unity says if no progress is made in reaching a hostage deal in the coming days it will leave the government.

    https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/389709

According to the report, the National Unity Party believes that in recent days the negotiations for a deal have reached a dead end, and the chances that a deal will happen soon are low.

Gadi Eisenkot clearly committed that he would leave the government if there were no progress. The time for him to make that decision is coming to a close and it can happen within the next few days.

To which, in the context of Masks Off. Gloves Off, I say: GOOD. Finally the Israelis can get themeslves something like political clarity on who is who and what is what as determines their own national survival. The sooner, the better, the more quickly they can begin to shape a proper order of matters to ensure their own sovereignty and therefore prosperity.

    GET ON WITH IT!

  3. “Does FJB really want the IDF to have to resort to nuking something?”

Oh, nothing like that…even if it COULD happen, I suppose.
What “he” would very much like to do is get Netanyahu out of the picture—keeping up the encouragement and funding of all those local anti-Bibi protesters to maintain intense pressure on the government—and find a way to perhaps force Bibi out of office “naturally” (i.e., using Israel’s somewhat bizarre electoral/governing laws to facilitate a “no-confidence” gambit); but if THAT fails, then, well, “he”‘ll just have to “hire”, sub-rosa of course, a “trigger man”—in this case the ICJ (so-called)—to “take Bibi out”.

Should “Biden” succeed in collapsing the unity government, that will be a big feather in “his” cap…and “he” can then go on to the next stage of what may be called “The Great Weakening”.

    File under: Staged withdrawal…until…?

  4. Thanks

They are nothing but predictable its only a question of which seat of the continental they belong two (john wick)

  5. In case anyone is wondering yes I am sober. But I don’t plan to be for very long. What sane man would want to? I remain sober so I can do what sane man wants to be sober.b. If I had a good woman I’d be sober 24 hours a day. But you’ll have to be close enough. I just didn’t want anyone to think I’m an easy Mark well I’ll explain myself later

  6. Stay sober, Steve.
Remember, there’s already enough crap flying about…
Besides, you told us you have tremendous affection for animals.
That should tip the scales quite a bit in your favor…

  7. Bur I’m also a hunter. It’s somehow a misconception that hunters hate animals. Do you realize how much time and effort I put into maintaining the habitat? If it wasn’t for us hunters the developers would have built right down to the edge of Suisin bay. We blocked them. I think the pinnacle of hunting is when you can convince a hawk or falcon to work with you and your dog. It takes a lot of trust. I’ve never been able to work it with the bird. Dogs and horses yes. It’s really beautiful when you can convince them to believe in you

  8. Steve, Is there any more beautiful sound than that of a baying Beagle in hot pursuit of a cotton tail rabbit? If you didn’t know your dog you’d swear the rabbit turned and attacked him with tooth and claw; but the sounds he is making are an expression of his joy of the chase.
Is there any more beautiful feeling than having a wet Labrador Retriever leaning against you in your blind, shivering like crazy, not because she’s cold or frightened, but because she is so damn excited and filled with joy, when the mallards are in the air?
Is there a more beautiful sight than seeing your Shorthair Pointer getting all birdy and then striking a textbook pointing posture, waiting for you to give her the command that releases her to flush the pheasant she’s been focused on?
When I hunt alone I hardly care if I get anything. But if I’m out with my dogs I feel I must shoot something for the sake of my dog’s mental well being. I know my dogs feel the same about me. It’s a beautiful thing!
Hunting: fun; hunting with your dog: priceless!

  9. My uncle kept beagles . I kept black and tan setters. And Springer’s Untill I got too old and crippled. It’s depressing there’s a dog park outside my window. Bur I can’t walk a dog not even to get just outside my window. I’ve got maybe one good fight left in my and I’m trying to hold it off as long as possible. So I’m considering reptiles now. You don’t need to walk your python. And birds just not raptors

  10. But yes a baying hound is a beautiful sound. I don’t know if it’s more beautiful than a donkey or mule’s bray or horse’s whinnying. I used to have a part time job at the stable in Oakland where the As stored their mascot, Charlie O the palomino mule. And I mean stored. Nobody besides me had regular contact with . I think he liked . He never tried to kick me or bite me. Of course when I was working around him I always let him know exactly where I was. Equines don’t like surprises. I’m not Steve Irwin or crocodile Dundee. But for a city boy I have a fair amount of experience with domestic animals and even snakes. They used to come into the house in the winter in the Bay Area and crawl underneath the dryer to warm up. It’s not Alaska but the San Francisco Bay Area can get chilly for snakes. Like here in Texas. I understand they need to make a living, how they need to make it, and I don’t hold it against them. I don’t kill spiders because the spiders are there because you have a bug problem. They’re your friends when you think about it.

  11. One thing about the Bidens is they keep getting German Shepherds who, to an untrained eye, turn vicious. They’re not vicious dogs. The very names the Bidens give them, Commander, Major, whatever tells you the Bidens shouldn’t own a Chihuahua. They’re living a macho dream through their dogs. Dogs are pack animals and through selective breeding we’ve learned them, they’re not in charge. When they have weak owners they’re lost. And we elected this man president. Who has proven time and again he’s not qualified to lead a dog.
