  1. Lewis Carol and his Walrus didn’t know about “Black Smoker” deep sea hydrothermsl vents. The sea there is quite hot (464 C) but not boiling.

So pigs and wings may be a thing to come?

  2. Apparently Starship broke up during its re-entry attempt. They were intending to splashdown in the Indian Ocean. But mostly successful other than that.

  3. Walrus definitely. I see something like 60 bands pulled out of a concert in the South because the US Army is one of the sponsors. Don’t these idjits know they are allowed to play because Hard MEN do Hard Things to keep them free.

  4. Schumer: Netanyahu an obstacle to peace, has to go
Senate Majority Leader gives major address from the Senate floor on ‘a pathway to peace and achieving a two-state solution,’ attacks Israeli government and calls for new elections.

So we’re now openly back to regime change, but rather than aiming at enemies, they aim at allies. Wonder how that’ll work for them!

What’s amazing about our political class is you can never figure out if it’s mendacity or stupidity behind what they say. A ‘two state solution’ is what the Arab bosses have been offered on three separate occasions and rejected on three separate occasions. The Gaza strip was handed over to local Arab bosses in 2005, then seized by Hamas two years later, so Hamas had its own mini-state. How’s that workin’ out for everyone?

  6. I suppose giving Iran another 10 billion dollars and openly declaring that the leader of Isreal “has to go” lets you know where exactly this regime stands. Among other things I assume they’re attempting to win back and/or appease the anti-Isreal/anti-western civilization block that currently makes up a large chunk of the Democrat voter base.

  7. Can someone please explain to me what the joke Bidet (and Ocommie before him) administration hopes to achieve by unlocking $10 Billion for Iran’s benefit?

What exactly is the goal here?
In what way will this benefit peace and stability in the Middle East?

Frankly, I am at a total loss to understand the goal of this policy.
( Is it because my IQ is nowhere near that of Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan?)

  8. Can someone please explain to me what the joke Bidet (and Ocommie before him) administration hopes to achieve by unlocking $10 Billion for Iran’s benefit?

The simple answer is “Iranian hegemony in the Middle East”. That’s it. That’s the policy goal.

  9. if its schumer its mendacity, Gallant the defense minister was one of the ones that targeted Abu Jihad, the architect of the 1986 intifada and farther back the recruited the team that did Munich, the late Major Mahum Lev was the one that took the shot,

  10. Shirehome:

I looked that up. It is the SXSW festival, which is full of politically correct woke performers, so… color me surprised that they are pulling out “in solidarity with the people of Palestine,” because the Department of Defense is a sponsor of the event.

I can think of a million other things I would rather do — including abdominal surgery without anesthesia — than go to SXSW.

  11. Art Deco: MORE than three separate occasions. And essentially, that is what they got with the Israel pulling out of Gaza and parts of Judea and Samaria. There was no “Israeli-occupied Gaza” on October 7. And look how well that worked out. This idiots, like Schumer, calling for a “two-state solution” as if it were Israel’s fault that it never happened. What a freaking stupid son-of-a-b***h.

  12. Tiny feet patter, then stop.
    Orange orbs hang in darkness.
    Road-kill opossum heralds spring.

  13. Some good news from the primary election last week In Texas. Quite a few Republicans in the Texas house blocked a school choice bill. The Texas governor raised some money and targeted them in the primary. Many of them lost or are being forced into a runoff.

“Greg Abbott clears path for ‘school choice’ after helping pro-voucher candidates”

  14. if its schumer its mendacity

You’re not wrong. Yet you’re leaving out another important aspect, namely: if it’s Schumer, it’s a result of an all-of-Dem-Party (which is to say “all of currently constituted administrative goverment”, or “deep state” for shorthand), carefully coordinated media campaign.

  15. Schumer is perhaps the worst, but you take any democrat from maine to Georgia,* Hamas fan boi Warnock, who deserves to be in the dock,

*Menendez, like Thomas Dodd is an exception, hence he gets the glove,

Schumer telegraphed the warfare play against Trump, protected Madoff and Weinstein, basically every rascal under the son, threatened the Supreme Court Justices,

now Bibi is like David without the long locks, to be fighting these forces for the better part of the last 40 years since he was at the UN he carries the burden passed down to him by his father, and his father before him,

  16. Funny how the only regime liberals want to change is the only democratically elected one in the Middle East.

  17. well they were after prince salman, not because of the sainted jamal khashoggi, pbuh, but because he and the emirate of the UAE were the counterbalance to the Islamists, across North Africa, whenever they are screaming about something, like the mayor of Gotham says to Dent, ‘everyone whose wallet about to get light’

now every arab state, has pretty much dropped the ball, in laundering Hamas’s lawfare against Israel, since the Baptist Hospital incident in the hope the crocodile will eat them last, I don’t know how real the Abraham Accords could have turned out to be, Reading between the lines, Prince Salman, has tried to reverse some of the actions his father the ailing king put into effect since the late 80s, these are the actions we have told for generations we wanted from an Arab monarch, but the actions betray that notion

  18. What the hell right does Schumer have to say that “Netanyu is an obstacle to peace?

Schumer should just keep his nose out of internal Israeli politics

  19. Chuck Schumer has ever been the Uriah Heep of the Senate. He’s truly an awful human being.

  20. that fellow who may be an Iranian mole in the NSC, Maher Bitar came from Schumer’s staff,

  21. is the pope argentine, the other question might be considered rhetorical

certainly not catholic, probably not even a believer,

  22. koo koo ka choo. Or is it goo goo g’joob?

Of course, when asked for the record later, nobody never knew nothing.

  23. So no complaints from Schumer when Netanyahu declares the whole donkey party to be a threat to western civilization which of course it is.

  24. “They aim at allies…”

Except that for “Biden” Israel is NOT an ally (in the accepted sense of the word).

Not sure why that isn’t crystal clear…

  25. So far as I know Schumer’s call for new elections in Israel does not represent public opinion there.

Schumer isn’t stupid. He’s malevolent, and so are Biden and Blinken.

  26. It’s of course crystal clear to me, Barry, yet the sense of the sentence concerns Americans simply understood, as over against “Biden”, a horrifically hedged sort of terminology for a “leader” of a nation.

  27. By the by, we now see Benny Gantz, who met with Schumer just last week during his trip to receive instructions from the Biden administration on their “strategy” for the near term in Gaza and Israeli political life, now scrambling desperately to distance himself from Schumer’s dictation! Hilarious, to me anyhow: https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/386758

    But then even funnier:

Not all Israeli leaders condemned Schumer’s speech. Opposition leader Yair Lapid said, “Senator Schumer’s speech is proof that Netanyahu is losing our best supporters in the US. Even worse is that he is doing it on purpose. Netanyahu is causing serious damage to the national effort to win the war and preserving Israel’s security.”

  28. He takes good dictation, he was at front of the coalitions that were in charge in the interregnum when bibi was taking fire,

  29. Sen. McConnell’s reply on the Senate floor to Schumer:

It is grotesque and hypocritical for Americans who hyperventilate about foreign interference in our own democracy to call for the removal of a democratically elected leader of Israel…This is unprecedented. We should not treat fellow democracies this way at all.”

  30. Such an ugly, stupid, ignorant side of people who claim to be on the side of the oppressed… You can’t make peace with someone whose sole purpose is to kill you… Hamas did this, planned it—Iran funded it—knowing full well that the response would be like never before. And they didn’t care. They went underground. They wanted this war. And to them, the devastation of the people above ground—that works for them. That means more money… They have zero regard for their own people’s lives… Their one and only goal is to kill Jews, to kill Israelis… And people need to be outraged that the world is silent…

  31. “No greater love hath no man than to lay down one’s life for his fellows”

All honor to CWO Uri Moyal.

  32. How far is Canada swirling down the toilet bowl of history?

Although the police department tried to walk this advice back after a lot of criticism, at a community forum a Toronto police officer suggested that–in view of a recent reported 400% increase in car thefts and associated home invasions–people should just leave their car keys on their front doorstep to “lessen the chances of conflict.”*

Hell, why not stake your daughters out front as well, wouldn’t want any home invaders to be inconvenienced, would we?

Talk about cravenly giving in to the barbarians within your gates.
