Biden the joke
The memes write themselves, and they are funny. Go feast your eyes and laugh.
And then cry, because we’re in a terrible mess. But of course, we already knew that the moment Biden took the helm – or the moment his controllers took the helm, with Biden as the front man.
It’s like an old comedy bit: “There’s bad news and then there’s good news, Joe. The bad news is that you’re guilty of mishandling classified documents. The good news is that you’re too senile to be charged.”
Funny? Not funny? Both?
And then there’s Biden’s attempt at course correction, in which he not only seemed like the proverbial “angry old man,” but he also implied that Mexico is next to Gaza. Now, many American voters don’t know much about geography, but even most of them know where Mexico is.
The Democrats cynically ran Joe in 2020, hoping that with COVID no one would be noticing much or caring about his already-evident cognitive decline. Plus, they had confidence they could “rig” the election and win.
Now the Democrats are in trouble, and they are determined to fix it. Perhaps they have a plan, although I believe it will be hard to execute, whatever it may be. But perhaps that plan is merely to rely on Trump’s trials, and those have hit a few snags.
The following plan is unlikely to work very well, however:
Top party operatives are warning Biden aides that the president cannot retreat in response to the special counsel report that fueled concerns over his age and mental faculties. They say President Joe Biden, having largely shied away from interviews and press conferences, needs to be out in public far more.
They want to see him engage with the press and voters in the off-script and punchy exchanges he’s been known for in the past, which they believe will help chip away at concerns about the president’s mental acuity. They say that it’s worth the risk of potential slip-ups that could reinforce the image that he’s declining.
The American public has had three long years in which to observe Biden (those of us who are older have had a lot longer, because he’s been in public life for a half century). They know who he is. But will they care how awful he is, or has demonization of Trump gone on so long and so successfully with enough of the public that it won’t matter, and they’ll vote for Biden anyway? The wild card in these calculations is, of course, the “rigging” factor.
NOTE: I use the word “rigging” because we know that occurred, whereas the allegations of fraud are impossible to either prove or disprove. I’ve written about the latter many many times. Suffice to say that the way the rules were set up, it became impossible to trace ballots effectively enough to prove anything, but the suspicion is there.
I am beginning to suspect that they will set of a hit on Joe and Kamala together. Please, no one tell me that they are above that sort of thing. It’s only a matter of whether they can figure a good way to do it.
Of course, they’ll blame us.

Three more facts;
Biden is not too senile to be impeached, convicted and permanently ostracized. What he has done is far more serious than Nixon’s attempt to cover up the bungled Watergate break-in.
That congressional democrats and RINO’s are certain to refuse to impeach, much less convict him is proof of their unfitness for the office they hold.
Those citizens who, after learning of the true facts, agree that he should not be drummed out of office demonstrate their unfitness for the American citizenship they were bequeathed.
Do people really not know how out of it Biden is? I get a double dose of it on the radio and the internet, but people who get their news from broadcast (or even cable) television may have no clue.
I’m afraid Eeyore is probably right. The puppet masters have probably already identified some mentally ill person who had no idea that their going to be in the spotlight soon. They already have someone guiding him into posting crap on social media to fit the “evil right wing MAGA monster” narrative. When the puppet masters determine that the time is right… And the “hate speech” of the right will be blamed.

But it is clear that points made in this detailed expose shows how much lawless and undisciplined Executive Branch document handling has become. Given Ben Hur’s extensive outline of every possible Biden defensive point, I am certain that that this, most importantly, amounts to an outline for SCOTUS to follow in constructing a sound judgement in Trump’s Presidential Immunity-Records mishandling case.
Certainly, the late Justice Antonin Scalia would build an autonomous Imperial Presidency theory that protects its independence and would be much in agreement with Trump’s lawyerly case.
But since there likely will remain an Institutional Default at work among an important segment of Moderate Justices, the finding of a reasonable line in Administrative law where such thing as this Presidential Records gets regulated is the real question here. In historical practice, use and abuse if Presidential powers in holding records has gone wildly unchecked.
Which remains to be seen in coming months. Where are the reasonable compromises for the Thomas-Alito Scalia-types to make? …That can pull SCOTUS moderates around?

I’ve harped on this before. A significant number of voters voted for Biden knowing who he is. He’s not Trump.
If you collected the writings of the founding fathers it’s not the word freedom that appears the most. It’s the word virtue. The overall attitude of the American voting public seems to be “give me the rights and none of the responsibilities.”
We are, effectively, a high tech third world country with political prisoners, weaponized judiciary, etc. I don’t think there is a way back from this. I hope somebody proves me wrong, but, it doesn’t look good from where I’m sitting.

Comedians have always poked fun at out Presidents – it’s the American way. But Joe’s problems are not jokes. We are a country with a POTUS who is basically a figurehead. Who is really calling the shots? Is it Obama, the DNC, the Natiuonal Security Council, or who? Projecting a weak, disorganized profile on the world stage at this time is a very bad look.

What we need is a reporter to ask Biden if he can name all his grandchildren. If he can, he’s ok. If he can’t, he’s demented.
