More FBI abuses
The FBI improperly used warrantless search powers against U.S. citizens more than 278,000 times in the year ending November 2021, according to an unsealed Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) filing.
U.S. citizens covered in that improper effort included people involved in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021; George Floyd protesters during the summer of 2020; and donors to a failed congressional candidate, the filing said.
The left should be as incensed as the right about this. But they sure don’t seem to be.
There are exactly two figures on “the left” that will be outraged by this: Dershowitz and Turley. That’s it.
They’re not incensed because they don’t believe the left will ever lose control of the central government. I hope they are wrong about that.
IIRC Trump had an ‘EO’ allowing him to fire career ‘civil service’ near end of his term. Probably one of his first acts if reelected. He has ‘seen the elephant’, stand back and enjoy the draining of the swamp (hopefully).
This leftist never lost his distrust for the FBI. When it comes to political matters, they’ve always been the Secret Police.
However, I never expected the FBI would do its dirty work for the Left. That’s a testament to the power lusts on both sides of that equation.
This multilateral Nazi-Soviet Pact between the Left, the Democrat Party, Corporate America and the Deep State is a many-splendored and frightening thing to behold.
However, like Joe and Adolf, I don’t think it’s a stable alliance.
Why should the left be as incensed as the right* about this? The Deep State sees the Left as an ally.

Which raises an important question: Are we really talking about the Left?
That is, if one is, essentially, talking about a twisted, warped, manipulative, uber-corrupted version of the “Uniparty”; and if one has noticed that the Democratic Party of today is nothing like what it was in the past—even under Bill Clinton (sure, there are resemblances but I’m talking about “degree” and the adoption of shamanistic cultism to drive forward REVOLUTION, that is, to strive for total power)—but has instead fully embraced the so-called “WOKE”/WTF weltanschauung and ideology, such as it is; then are we talking about “the Left” (that is, the former Left)? Or about the “Democratic Party”, in its current bizarro incarnation?
IOW, are we talking about a left-of-center political party? Or a Bolshevi-Fascist, criminal syndicate/conglomerate exploiting such deceptive, if well-worn, slogans as “DEMOCRACY”, “UNITY”, “TRUTH”, “EQUALITY”, “STAMPING OUT RACISM” and “SAVING THE WORLD” as the smokescreen behind which they are determined to achieve and hold total power?
This together with the ABSOLUTE NEED to invent a diabolical ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, in the current case, DREYFUS J. TRUMP and those who dare support him?
It’s a matter of the oft-heard claim: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left me…” (and, boy, did they ever!…leaving any and all sense of Truthfulness, Respect, Fairness, Decency and Adherence to Law far behind as well…)
The problem is that the abuse is everywhere….

“State of emergency”, eh? Republicans getting uppity? Don’t parents know they have NO authority over what their kids should be learning? Don’t Republicans know this? (Think all of ’em would have digested that lesson by now.)
If they keep it up, looks like we’ll just have to sic the FBI on ’em.
Roy Cooper’s “state of emergency” in NC is rhetorical only. He hasn’t issued any executive order. He tried to rally people to force the failure of the veto override on the 12-week abortion bill, and failed, and now he’s trying the same thing on the school choice bill. I think this has an even smaller chance than his efforts on abortion.
The FISA abuses are much worse than this. Judge Collyer, as chief judge of the FISC, wrote an opinion in 2017 which gave some hints about the extent of the abuse. The Democrats under Obama and since have operatives hired as contractors to the FBI. They are given the ability to sift throughout the database of NSA spying on our communications to find material that the Democrats can use for blackmail or other profitable purposes.
There was a news story a few years ago that the DC office of the Democrats’ favorite law firm had access to the NSA database.
Big Brother has been spying on us through our phones and computers for decades. And the Democrats use the database to solidify their power. “1984” isn’t just a book.
Democrats are ruthless in their quest for power. They will do anything and everything in their pursuit. That includes killing. As George Stephy told us, the Clintons admitted they believe in killing people who are hurting them politically. Disgraced and corrupt former governor Ray Blanton(D) of Tennessee paid for a hit on a witness in the late 70s.
I’m amazed that people can observe this level of criminality and abuse of law and still question whether they steal elections. They’ve been stealing elections for a couple of centuries.
Questioning whether they would steal an election is like asking if a murderer is corrupt enough to ever shoplift.
