The January 6th videos tell a different tale — 25 Comments

  1. “If security had held…”
Ah, but THEY didn’t want security to hold.
Not Pelosi. Not Bowser. Not Wray.
If they had wanted security to hold, they would have arranged for the reinforcements that Trump requested to be there to keep order if it were to become necessary to do so.
(BUT…IF they had done that, then the riot—sorry, INSURRECTION—that they had SO METICULOUSLY planned—and “orchestrated” with the help of Ray Epps (just ask him!) AND OTHERS—would not have been able to, um, “materialize”….)

  2. I’m shocked, shocked to learn that Democrats lied.

You gotta be impressed with the consistency. Every issue, every matter, all the time, every time.

    Mary McCarthy’s quote lives.

  3. and oj was going to get to the bottom of nicole’s murder, but them’s the breaks,

  4. “de-legitimizing of just about everything the right stands for and does.”

They’ve only de-legitimized what the right stands for in the minds of the liberal sheep. Among those of us with eyes to see, they’ve instead fully confirmed David Horowitz’s assertion that “Inside Every Progressive Is A Totalitarian Screaming To Get Out”.

  5. Now, let me step back for a moment to understand the gestalt. Do the Democrats believe they will always control the House, or the Senate, or both? No. Did they think the suppression of all of this video evidence would perpetuate long into the future? Probably not. Here it is, a scant 3 years later, and the balance of power has shifted in the House, and the videos are now being aired. Why are they being aired now – exactly what approvals have been applied for, to whom, and who has granted them, and why?

The Democrats understand live and near-term politics, and they play this game to the hilt. They are experts at the near-term, 2-year election cycle game. With the assistance of the media and social networking empires, they encourage short-term attention and focus as a societal virtue, and discourage longer-term memory. This hugely benefits their game – look what a pageant they have constructed out of the Jan 6th committee, at how saturated the coverage has been, and how quickly it is moving out of the public consciousness. Look how hard it is for Republicans to play catch up – they have to re-energize interest, re-focus attention, refresh memories. It’s exhausting. It’s a loser’s game. In Politics, playing defense or chasing retribution is a loser’s game.

  6. I definitely remember video of an Antifa guy directing traffic inside the Capital and him later identified as the head of the organization in Idaho.

  7. Aggie – yes, and they’ve learned that the first reports, especially if they are graphic, become cemented in most people’s minds long after they are disproved by subsequent reporting.

It’s a game of narrative creation and they’ve become expert at it, helped by controlling most mainstream media sources (including social media) that are watched or read by most “normies.” Couple that with aggressive censoring or belittling of contrary views and it’s a recipe for power eternal.

What percentage of Americans do you think still believe Sicknick was killed by a protester beating him with a fire extinguisher?

  8. On my 5th book on the 2020 election, Christina Bobb’s Stealing Your Vote
It was obvious to anyone who wanted to see it they hid the videos to create a narrative that is total bullshit.

In answer to your last question, I would say 70-80% of the MSM audience.
They keep on repeating it. They corrected it for a bit but went right back to pushing it. Below are the top 2 google results for the search: CNN sicknick beaten to death
You will see that CNN published 4 days ago that Officer Sicknick was assaulted by a person who is pleading out to it. You will also see that they told the truth about it over one and three fourths years ago. They publish the truth so they can say “oh no, we published the truth” but they go right back to telling the lie.

  10. “…Do the Democrats believe they will always control the House, or the Senate, or both? No….”

Actually, the answer is “yes”. (Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news…but just think of all those “new voters” pouring in through the southern border…and elsewhere!…Not that they need “new voters” to steal elections, mind you, but every bit helps—let’s just call it “fortifing the voter rolls”!)

(But I’m just kidding, really. Actually, the answer is that at some point—relatively soon—they expect to attain total power, making the above question essentially a non sequitur….)

  11. The Democrat Party has been working for years to make elections meaningless. The model is Chicago, which has not had an honest election in years, One reason Obama stimulated black racism is to keep those ballot counters in Atlanta and Philadelphia on board when elections come along. 400 million Zuckerbucks help to keep them on the plantation. The recent election in Arizona shows that the methods are getting more sophisticated. Now the mechanism of the election can be controlled. Soros got his money’s worth when he got Katie Hobbs into the Secretary of State office.

  12. The issue with this is the psychological effect of ‘anchoring’: once a position is created it is *remarkably* hard to change. 3 years of anchoring may never, really, be undone.

  13. Do the January 6th defendants even have attorneys? Does it even matter?

Public defenders colluding with the prosecutors, ‘representing’ them at hearings where the judges are colluding with the prosecutors.

  14. I thought Liz Cheney was going to get to the truth about J6.

She, her husband, and her father are all frauds who have no legitimate place in public life. Ditto George W. Bush.

  15. “…who have no legitimate place…”

Um, “…who SHOULD have no legitimate place…”
    But they do.
    In spades.
    Polluted waters run deep:
“…Brookings’ ties to Beijing, via Wall Street, are formidable. Tsinghua and US corporate elites, from George W Bush’s treasury secretary to Mitch McConnell’s brother-in-law…”

    (Time to redefine “bi-partisan”?)

  16. In the Prime series, Slow Horses, MI5 Operations Division (Kristin Scott) undertakes the kidnapping of a Pakistani student in the UK in order to rescue him so as to justify the subsequent repression of the antiimmigrationracistpopulist elements in the UK body politic.

In case the viewer does not get the point, Scott and Oldman have a private conversation where it is all laid out.

The kidnapping goes badly wrong, of course, and Gary Oldman has to pull their kishkes out of the fire. Show is well done and I cannot imagine a similar one getting green lighted in the US these days. We used to have a lot of this sort of thing – 3 Days of the Condor, Total Recall, inter alia.

  18. Epix did a couple of series like that a condor revamp, where instead of an invasion, the deep state was unleashing a pathogen at the hajj, it was orchestrated by a rather creepy bob balaban, the second season was about a Fsb mole deep inside the government, who covers his tracks,

of course they didn’t think what if it spreads like in lawrence wrights roman a clef, there was also jericho, where the twist was the nuclear attacks were orchestrated by a rogue faction of our government,

  19. they do have some counsel, but it’s casino rules against the house,

everyone is wearing skins not shirts it seems,

I glanced through Mike Pence’s memoir, I noted one obvious error, mistaking san bernandino for for orlando, as trump’s pivot point, (they happened three years apart,) there were omissions about some of his troublesome aides like walters and toye, who proved themselves very swampy, and one obvious lie about General Flynn, the charges against him, were balderdash

  20. I recall seeing video of Epps removing the barriers. It might have been in Tucker Carson’s Originals program some time ago. Interesting how something like that gets memory holed. And there was some guy up on a scaffold directing things.

  21. In re Ray Epps – the earliest stories I remember came from Revolver.

    https://www.revolver.news/2021/10/meet-ray-epps-the-fed-protected-provocateur-who-appears-to-have-led-the-very-first-1-6-attack-on-the-u-s-capitol/

    https://www.revolver.news/2021/12/damning-new-details-massive-web-unindicted-operators-january-6/

RCP followed the Epps Saga pretty closely.

And Neo weighed in presciently here.
    https://www.thenewneo.com/2022/01/12/the-ray-epps-puzzle/
“I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the government will not be charging Ray Epps with anything.”

The questions raised a year (or two!) ago have still not been answered satisfactorily.
