It’s Emily Litella time again — 23 Comments

  1. So now you are asking to believe what I already believed?

Good News about Nancy and Steny. Maybe they saw some writing on bathroom walls. Nancy may also know that the video of her husband is about to come out. Will he?

Nancy’s replacement is a vile, repulsive pol.

  2. And will anything happen to the FBI with regard to this bogus raid?? Will the Turtle start a senate investigation?? Will McCarthy on the House side?? Not holding my breath. The GOP is feckless.

  3. But her replacement is one of the 13%, named Hakeem, doubltess his absent father gave his consent.

  4. The first time in ages someone got the name right. People usually cite Roseanne Rosannadanna.

  5. And on the Pelosi home invasion front, we are now getting media reporting that seems to confirm the earlier reporting that Paul opened the door, and went back inside towards the intruder.

  6. Good News about Nancy and Steny. Maybe they saw some writing on bathroom walls.

One of them has a life expectancy of about 8 1/2 years, the other 7 years. That they’re in Congress at all (after 35 years and 41 years, respectively) is what’s peculiar.

  7. Will the Turtle start a senate investigation?

That would require controlling the Senate, which he failed to accomplish in a manner he wants us to believe is now incompetence.

  8. There’s too much negativism here. I think this is the first of many positive effects of the Republicans taking the House. The administration knows that there are a lot of whistleblowers in the FBI that will now be given a public hearing. They are just trying to get ahead of the story.

  9. She’s simply phenomenal…in all ways, but particularly her interactions with Steve Martin.

(Or maybe, it’s more accurate to say, “She’s simply a phenomenon…”)

  10. Liars, thieves and cheaters lie, steal and cheat. It’s what they do. It’s who they are.

Of course, they lied and slandered relentlessly about the raid. And lied about Pelosi attack and slandered the GOP over it. And the Hunter laptop. And Russia collusion. And on and on and on ….

And the honesty of the elections. They lie constantly and relentlessly. They slander constantly and relentlessly. They are evil to their core. Always have been.

The only real news that the Democrat machine is capable of generating is that someone within it grows a moral conscience.

  11. Barry Meislin,

I’ve read a bit about the Toronto “Godspell/Second City” group that formed in the ’70s and early SNL. I’ve also read Gilda’s autobiography and watched a documentary on her.

There was certainly something about her. Every male she performed with speaks of her with such reverence. It was like she had a quality beyond physical attractiveness, above physical attractiveness. And even though she was the woman in any cast she was in who had the boys buzzing about her her female castmates also liked her and wanted to be around her.

It comes through on the David Letterman clip you shared. You can even see Dave react to it. She’s not “killing” as a comedian, or dominating the conversation, but she garners all the attention in the room.

So sad she died so young. Her and Gene Wilder seemed to have a great marriage. A special couple.

  12. The GOPe now has enough power in the House to prevent any effective action v the “Feeb”.

As far as Pelosi, an elder relative used to pay for “prostate massage”. Gots to clean the pipes once and a while. I don’t know who his “contractor” was. Shame, Old Man” Pelosi wasn’t married.

  13. Rufus, Gene Wilder was no slouch himself as a comedian. Besides many well-known roles such as “Young Frankenstein” one of my favorite movies is “Stir Crazy” where Richard Pryor no less plays straight man to Wilder!

  14. i thought they were going to stick with the louise penny spec script, about loose nukes, and the Russian mafia,

I thought I spotted wilder in some other famous film, before he hit the big time, of course most all his work would be

  15. PJ Media: Remember when the FBI raided Trump’s home supposedly looking for “nuclear secrets” a few months back? Guess how that turned out? I’ll let . . . the Washinton Post spell it out

From the Washington Post article: “The Post has also reported that some of the material focuses on the defense systems of a foreign country, including its nuclear capabilities.”

PJ Media: In other words, Trump was keeping souvenirs, as everyone else does.

There’s no evidence the jewel thief was trying to fence the stolen gems. Apparently, he just liked shiny things.
