Spambot of the day — 4 Comments

  1. I remember that post! That means I have been reading you for one fifth of my life!

  2. It is amazing how awful so many of our fellow humans seem to be. This comment is based solely on how awful they are “online”. Hidden from sight, they verbally vomit on everything everyday.

I am not on Facebook, not on Twitter, don’t use anything owned by Google except for my youtube weakness.

This blog is a wonderful breath of fresh air (thoughtfulness, kindness, and consideration). I gain insights most everyday I visit.

Thank you. I am not sure how you have kept away those mentioned in paragraph one, but it seems to be working.

Maybe they just can’t stand thoughtfulness, kindness, and consideration…

  3. Just goes to show how evil some people are; truly malevolent .
And these horrible people reside at every layer of the socio-economic / political scale, from the poorest of the poor, to the top of the heap of wealth and/or political power.

Recall Korean Airline Flight 007 that was shot down by a Russian fighter jet in 1983. So it’s really no surprise if the Russians shot down that Polish airliner in 2010.

Speaking of Russia: looks like Sweden is seriously considering joining NATO. If this comes to pass, get ready for all those Russian / Putin apologists explaining to all of us why this will FORCE Russia to invade Sweden.
There are also rumblings in Finland about joining NATO, but for the Finns, given their history with the Russians, a shared 830 mile border, and their smallish size – about 5.5 million people it’s a far more dicey proposition.
It’s hard to believe that Finland , NATO in or not in , could ever be perceived
by Russia to be a threat. But then again, if Russia sees itself becoming a modern Roman Empire, I guess it makes sense to the Russians .

It’s amazing that ever since the Bolsheviks took over Russia in 1917, there has never been a shortage of westerners (many of them “intellectuals,” self-anointed or otherwise) either supporting / promoting Russia or at least providing all sorts of rationalizations for Russian actions, irrespective of the numbers of dead bodies produced by Russian actions. This was even true when FDR’s good pal, “Uncle Joe” Stalin was ruling the roost or during the Holodomor (the intentional and purposeful starvation of millions of Ukrainians).

This latter event was reported as a non-event by Walter Duranty, of the NY Times. Duranty could never find enough glowing superlatives to praise Stalin’s Russia. Duranty, getting back to my first point, is a perfect example of a truly evil, malevolent person.
