Death sentence reinstated for Boston marathon bomber Tsarnaev
In its 6-3 ruling, the high court rejected arguments by Tsarnaev’s lawyers that his trial judge erred in barring certain questions to prospective jurors, and in blocking evidence of his brother Tamerlan’s role in a prior triple murder.
“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev committed heinous crimes,” Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in the majority opinion.
“The Sixth Amendment nonetheless guaranteed him a fair trial before an impartial jury. He received one. The judgment of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit is reversed,” Thomas wrote.
All six of the court’s conservatives voted to reinstate the death penalty, while the three liberal justices all dissented.

Now we wait another twenty years for the actual execution.

The execution should be carried out tomorrow. However, an execution that doesn’t prevent Tsarnaev’s entry into paradise is useless from the standpoint of reducing Jihadist recruitment.
Allah has declared in the sacred Qur’an that contact with any part of a pig just prior to death permanently bars entry into paradise.
Given the current political climate, I recommend a firing squad for
Tsarnaev with rifles employing “Silver Bullet Gun Oil” which reportedly contains 13% pig fat.
There are claims that “Video has emerged in which fighters with the Ukrainian National Guard can be seen greasing their bullets in pig fat in preparation for combat against Chechen Muslims fighting on behalf of Russia.”
Apparently, Ukrainian fighters are less squeamish than our woke Military.
Attorney General Garland imposed a moratorium on federal executions in July. Will that stop this execution from happening?
Now we wait another twenty years for the actual execution.
Courts meddle a great deal but do not protect us very much.

This 6-3 decision gives us the clearest contrast between the conservative and liberal justices. It defines their respective judicial philosophies and what they consider “Justice.” Liberals don’t just go wobbly — they utterly fail society — even over a terrorist guilty of mass murder.

No statute which purported to grant Garland that authority is proper. Defendants are sentenced by the courts and executive clemency is the business of the President or Governor as the case may be.

Sure, why not. In progressive liberal (i.e. monotonically divergent) societies with an established Pro-Choice religion, the wicked solution socially justifies the elective abortion of a baby, an [unarmed] protestor [in a prone position], with plausible cause, for social, clinical (e.g. experimental medical mandates), redistributive, and fair weather causes, and, if it were at all consistent, barring its ethical (i.e. relativistic) character, should socially justify the abortion of a premeditated murderer, too.
