I knew that when you click on the photo you get a slightly bigger version with the name of the photo listed. I just discovered that you can click on it a second time a get an even bigger version. Full size perhaps.
The version of photo in the post is cropped, so we miss the edges. In this case, you can see the dark background are dark forest trees. Pines or firs or similar. There are small gaps in the forest where one can see the light blue sky.
It reminds of parts of the Big Sur coast where there are clumps of wild pampas grass. Not the same as this though.

Let’s focus on the more important aspects. Serious cases now at 85% of the delta wave, but as a percentage of active cases it has not budged a bit and still at 0.01%. State level: NC 14 day average death at 12 and declining slightly compared to 60 at delta peak. GA (go Dawgs!) showing a possible plateau in cases; deaths holding at 20/day compared to 144 at peak delta. CT at 19/day which exceeds delta at 13/day and is still rising. CO also showing a bit of an upturn in deaths from 24 to 30. Florida showing about 12/day with no change compared to 400 at delta peak (3%) while coming in 3rd in the nation in overall new cases.
She was embarrassing enough in 1993 for her writings that Bilge Clinton voluntarily withdrew her nomination. Alas, we’re all frogs in the kettle; what she said is fairly unremarkable for our degenerate faculty today.
She was 71. What’s so sad about that is that she was in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s.
