Another entry in the “there’s no problem with mail-in ballots” sweepstakes — 21 Comments

  1. The last two sentences beg for an explanation. Why was this man turned loose without explaining himself? The cops don’t work for us anymore!

  2. AMartel:

    It’s simple.

He was turned loose because (a) this was in Los Angeles County, under the control of DA George Gascon, and (b) he was not a 1/6 demonstrator.

  3. Obviously a dedicated California elections worker protecting the integrity of those ballots.

    Hero for democracy.

  4. When enough Americans are certain, down to their very bones that they’ve been permanently disenfranchised in a system irredeemably corrupt, what limitations to their rage can the corrupt imagine will suffice?

When voting plummets to historically unprecedented levels, that’s when the corrupt may dimly sense through their willful blindness that consequence draws near.

  5. Neo is correct. It’s LA County. I left CA 5 years ago when I could stand it no more. More younger son, who is still in Orange County, expects the Gavin Newsom recall election to be stolen. I have an older son who is a trial lawyer and Democrat. I have not asked his opinion.

  6. A felon and a gun. Released on his own recognizance. We need more gun control laws to add to the ones we don’t enforce.

  7. 300 ballots here, 300 ballots there and pretty soon you are talking about real fraud.

  8. So, please tell me again . . .

Why should I bother to vote in the upcoming California recall election?

[rhetorical question, no civics lecture necessary] . . .

  9. I posted else where.
    The fuckery continues.

Note that no one was looking for this guy. No warrants etc. If he hadn’t fallen asleep at 7-11 we would never know. The ballots were stolen and yet not reported or any official inquiry. Let’s face it there are hundreds of these people ready to stuff the ballot box for drugs and cash and the authorities deny it even exists.

  10. If the ballots are stolen it might explain the people who go to vote and find that records show they already voted.

The Recall effort was grass roots with nearly zero Repub help. It’s worth voting to support those humble citizens who pulled this off.

  11. The Democrat Party is a criminal enterprise. Imagine what a real, old fashioned pre-Mueller era FBI investigation would uncover?

  12. Slightly off-topic, but I think related. The new NY Governor just announced 12,000 more COVID deaths in the state than previously reported, bringing the new total to near 60,000. That’s not 12,000 deaths in the last week or month, but over the pandemic period. These deaths were not included despite their death certificates reported to the CDC with a cause of death related to COVID. That’s a 25% increase in the number of deaths.

Why do some believe NY properly recorded and reported vote tallies? Is it only because our federal government isn’t interested in investigating these reporting anomalies?

  13. Stealing mail is a Federal Offense. The Post Office even has its own law enforcement agency, Postal Inspectors. Why no Federal charges? This is either corruption or incompetence.

  14. @ Retail Lawyer “Stealing mail is a Federal Offense. The Post Office even has its own law enforcement agency, Postal Inspectors. Why no Federal charges? This is either corruption or incompetence.”

    Embrace the power of AND.

  15. “Police still don’t know how he obtained the ballots and what his intent was.”

Gee… Did they even ask him?
