  1. Been a long time since I read your blog. I just stumbled here on a link from blogfather. I want you to know that I am still madly in love withyou, and that I added your feed to my rss reader. TTFN.

  2. I’d just put some giant salt licks at ground level for them so they didn’t have to do this. But then we wouldn’t get such cool footage I guess.

  3. I watched (some of) a soccer match yesterday for the first time since Everybody’s Favorite Pathogen, at least that far back. Was bored and decided to tune in to the France-Switzerland match partway through the second half of regulation. A rather entertaining match, as it turned out. I’m not sure that I would necessarily call it a classic for the ages, though the Mexican commentators were enthusiastic in that direction, but it comes close – certainly a fine example, at any rate, and I’m not at all sorry that I spent the time on it. (Surprised to see Giroud still playing internationally!)

  4. Rhetoric Matters. Attitude Matters.

“The Left has always relied upon informational asymmetry. They operate as pure partisans, while the other side is objectivists. That is, the Left wants to win every fight and the Right wants to find the correct answer. If the Right ever embraces partisanship, then it becomes a genuine fight. Since numbers matter, keeping white people chained to simpleminded individualism has been key. The word antiwhite is a key to unlock the chains and that is terrifying to the Left.

This does not mean the war is won just because the Left is on the defensive over Critical Race Theory. As Joe Sobran pointed out a quarter century ago, “The white
man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. And superiority excites envy.” It is only when white people come to terms with this reality will they abandon the slave mentality and begin to assert their power again. This minor slave revolt over CRT is merely a hint of what lies ahead.”

  5. Report: NSA whistleblower says his org is spying on Tucker Carlson, plotting to get his show thrown off the air

WHAT DOES THE DEEP STATE WANT YOU TO STAY IGNORANT ABOUT? THEIR FASCIST CENSORSHIP…to begin with.

Carlson confirmed that the whistleblower shared details of a story only his staff knows about.

“Tucker Carlson says a whistleblower told him that he is being spied on by the NSA and that he filed a FOIA request for information:

“The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that.”

BUT OF COURSE. The Fraud election and the Russiagate turned Spygate and Obsmagatr means Full Steam Ahead

  6. There are reasons that cattle, goat, sheep, etc owners put out salt blocks. Copper containing ones for goats. Copper ones not for sheep. Sulfur containing ones – not for goats.

  7. I was dizzy enough watching the ibex climb up the dam, and then they showed the one running back down….

  8. Zaphod – Saving the Gift of the Magi for later.

I have a nicely illustrated copy one of the boys gave me for Christmas.
    Also a collection of o. Henry’s short stories (I’m sure you’re surprised).
Having had 5 boys, we particularly appreciate “The Ransom of Red Chief.”

I suppose any new printing would have to change the title and some of the verbiage.
And Ikey’s tale, pharma puns and all, would never make it past the cancel culture crew.

On that consideration, I believe I will make a copy of that web post and save it for future reference.
