What is wrong… — 28 Comments

  1. Well, we all know what the result would be if for every time she used “white” one would substitute “black”. Her ass would be fired very quickly. In academia white people are the new “n-words”

  2. Several years ago, before his brain became severely addled by TDS, Jonah Goldberg wrote a very interesting and very controversial book entitled Liberal Fascism, on page 368 of which appears the following sentence: “The white male is the Jew of liberal fascism”, and, of course, who can forget that two generations ago Susan Sontag (who was without question exceptionally bright and actually wrote a superb novel, The Volcano Lover) claimed that “the white race is the cancer of human history?”

  3. Orwell’s 2 minutes of hate is alive and well on the Progressive side. In the book, “1984,” the people discussed were different, the ultimate target was Goldstein. Today, they give hate on several people, but the ultimate targets are conservatives. Trump is the surrogate.

This is why they also target anyone who defends, compliments, or just doesn’t hate their targets enough. Anyone who stands even slightly in the way of their goals is the enemy, to be scorned, hated and oppressed.

  4. Heh. “A race to the bottom.” Anatomy and skin color determine all. Matter over mind, not the other way around.

  5. One of her tweets after her tweet storm is:

    > “Civility” is a tool of oppression… <

Good grief. This is an attitude for disaster on so many levels. Can you imagine if her students decided to treat her uncivil? Would she give them a passing grade for recognizing the oppression of civility? Highly unlikely especially if they disagree with her politics. She would likely just call them a 'fascist' or 'racist' and claim her exclusive rights to being uncivil.

  6. Looks like some of those unfortunate Founder Effects are doing a number on Dauber’s sanity.

Or just the Menopause. Or some people just seem to lose inhibitions as they age — which generally is not a pretty sight.

I don’t doubt that for every Dauber there might be 10 Feldmans, but it’s the Daubers that insist more upon being Noticed.

In multi-ethnic empires, and a thousand times so in visibly *decaying* multi-ethnic empires, it behooves every ethnic community to police their own. Hopefully Dan Greenfield will put out an article on this Dauber soon.

  7. “Civility” is a tool of oppression…

Nothing new under the sun, if you know your Marcuse:
    ___________________________________________

THIS essay examines the idea of tolerance in our advanced industrial society. The conclusion reached is that the realization of the objective of tolerance would call for intolerance toward prevailing policies, attitudes, opinions, and the extension of tolerance to policies, attitudes, and opinions which are outlawed or suppressed. In other words, today tolerance appears again as what it was in its origins, at the beginning of the modern period–a partisan goal, a subversive liberating notion and practice. Conversely, what is proclaimed and practiced as tolerance today, is in many of its most effective manifestations serving the cause of oppression.

    –Herbert Marcuse, “Repressive Tolerance” (1965)

  8. Jeez, what a surprise; Dauber, a liberal progressive has said really disgusting things about someone she does not agree with.
    Who would have thunk it??
I am just shocked, shocked !!

Would not be surprised she is amongst the hooded thugs of ANTIFA when they are “peacefully” demonstrating for human rights and equality for all.

  9. Dauber is saying nothing unusual from her side. The casual, vicious, often sexual contempt for conservatives is standard conversational fare in progressive circles.

The only odd thing is Dauber said it publicly from her perch as a prof at Stanford Law. Whether she will be inconvenienced for it is a question for the Magic 8-Ball:

    Probably not.

  10. “Anyone who stands even slightly in the way of their goals is the enemy, to be scorned, hated and oppressed.” eeyore mood

The problem with seeing those who simply disagree with you but do so without animosity, as “the enemy” is that at some point, those designated as the ‘enemy’ rightfully start viewing you as a real enemy.

In which case, the strategically weaker party has engineered its own demise.

  11. I’ve noticed something that most of these people have in common with all these “why the heck would you voice that type of thought in such a way and without any hesitation?” They are professors of sociology.

Michele Dauber’s twitter reveals that she has TDS. It’s severe.

  12. GRA: I think of Dauber as one of those bears who venture into human space and casually maim or kill a jogger. The bears have been encroaching so long without consequence, they don’t see any risk.

They are just bears being bears.

  13. GRA: sociology and anthropology have become academic cesspools for the brain-dead.
Stanford’s task is to turn out the Leftist elites who will rule us.
I have told my kids not to send any grandchild to any private college or Univ. We will get around to Hillsdale though (I contributed a more than modest amount), but they are still too liberal for that discussion.

  14. }}} while in that job, he sought guidance from fellow clerks Barrett and Jenny Martinez,

And if he HADN’T done that, he would have been an “arrogant white male who never felt anyone else had anything of value to contribute, particularly a woman”.

You cannot win with these liberal assholes. So even trying is a waste of time.

I do debate such idiots all the time, but never because I expect them to change. Only to expose their underlying vitriol and to inoculate others against their hatred.

  15. To paraphrase a meme to apply it here:

“Why are you thinking of my penis in the middle of a political discussion?”

  16. By the way, Dauber is white, as far as I can tell. I believe that this is apparently her husband, although I’m not certain.

    1) Yes: “Dauber and his wife, Stanford Law School Professor Michele Dauber” from the article.

    2) You seem to be assuming he has a penis. She may have surgically removed it with her tongue some decades ago. Probably, in fact. 😀

  17. OBloodyHell: I’m reminded of the “Fawlty Towers” episode when Sybil, the wife, threatens her husband, Basil, if he has placed another bet on a horse. His response:

You’ll have to sew ’em back on first!

  18. “worthless shitty white man.”

    Noah Feldman?

If Arabs are brown, shouldn’t Jews be at least beige? In Europe, before the war, they said Jews were swarthy, had kinky hair, and were busy sexing up Gentile women.

  19. OBloodyHell:

Michele Landis (woohoo, bingo!) Dauber (antennae go up but not sure yet) is Jewish. There is a certain sub-type of radical Jewish intellectual who seems to think that they get to dump on Whites from some higher moral plane. Make of that what you will.

However, to be fair, in the case of Feldman it’s obviously internecine strife.

Dauber seems to be completely off the reservation and has prior form when it comes to attacking any of her co-ethnics to the right of her… Anyone not called Rosa Luxemburg would be hard-pressed to be to the left of her, so my commiserations to all concerned. Never let it be said that I’m heartless 😀

Does Palo Alto have anything remotely similar to the Landwehr Canal? Asking for a Friend.

Given that White Privilege is clearly a Bad Thing and the time for Blacks and Wise Latinas is upon us, I’d be interested to know just how many non-Jews have occupied the Frederick I (hello, I think) Richman (hehe) Chair at Stanford Law School. That’s rather difficult to ascertain… but a quick look at the faculty list suggests that Dauber ought to put her money where her mouth is and resign to do her little bit toward redressing an ‘over-representation’ imbalance we’re not supposed to notice if we’re polite ‘Good Whites’ (I’m not).

My point here is not to start a race war… that’s been going for a while already. What I’m getting at is the sheer chutzpah and lack of self-awareness of this woman. And when I yadda on about self-policing and the Ottoman Milet System, I’m not kidding. It’s really a good idea for every ethne to get busy thinking like this. No going back to the Old Republic. It’s dead. That sucks. But Mistah Kurtz type Dead sucks more.

  20. I am stupid and get women to do my homework for me.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. He didn’t consult others? “I am arrogant, and know everything”. He consulted male clerks? “I am misogynist, and don’t think women should clerk”.

Glad to see such a lively discussion here at New Neo. I was afraid I was the only one listening to a lonely voice in the wilderness.

  21. Or some people just seem to lose inhibitions as they age — which generally is not a pretty sight.

    She’s 49. That isn’t it.

In multi-ethnic empires, and a thousand times so in visibly *decaying* multi-ethnic empires, it behooves every ethnic community to police their own. Hopefully Dan Greenfield will put out an article on this Dauber soon.

You’re insane. The persons responsible for policing her would be the provost and the law dean at Stanford. They will do nothing.

  22. Michele Dauber | Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
    https://feminist.stanford.edu/people/michele-dauber

The campaign to recall Persky was started by Michele Dauber, a Stanford law professor and sociologist who also led the charge to revise Stanford’s sexual assault policy.

there is nothing wrong with her… she is a feminist, a strong woman, etc.
there is nothing you can say to such people or anyone without limiting women and permitting the patriarchy… the time to complain passed more than 10 to 20 years ago…

    enjoy it
