I think, perhaps, it’s the end of the beginning — 19 Comments

1. Walter Weyl “the new democracy” 1873-1919 page 166 :

This revolution, in the very midst of which we are, while believing that we stand firm on a firm earth, is a revolution not of blood and iron, but of votes, judicial decisions, and points of view.

It does not smell of gunpowder or the bodies of slain men. It does not involve anything sudden, violent, cataclysmic. Like other revolutions, it is simply a quicker turn of the wheel in the direction in which the wheel is already turning.

It is a revolution at once magnificent and commonplace.

It is a revolution brought about by and through the common run of men, who abjure heroics, who sleep soundly and make merry, who “talk” politics and prize-fights, who obey alarm clocks, time-tables and a thousand petty but revered social conventions.

They do not know that they are revolutionists.

What’s dangerous about this is that it takes the term “useful idiot” and abolishes the word “idiot”.

every useful idiot is told they are smart, knowing, better educated, and their polar opposition is polar opposite, so they wont listen to them…

They have connected organizations which are seemingly unconnected on the surface. So why shouldn’t conservatives connect the unconnected as well?

Lippmann co-founded The New Republic with Herbert Croly, and Walter Weyl was TNR’s first Editor in Chief. They are connected.

When you try to, let’s see, improve society you affect different people and different interests differently and they are not actually commensurate. So you very often have all kinds of unintended adverse consequences. So I had to experiment. And it was a learning process. The first part was this subversive activity, disrupting repressive regimes.

That was a lot of fun and that’s actually what got me hooked on this whole enterprise.

Seeing what worked in one country, trying it in the other country. It was kind of what developed a matrix in fact that we had, national foundations, and then we had certain specialized activities

– George Soros

back to the revolutionaries destroing themselves withotu knowing it till they cant remember where to look up they are being used!!! (and cant be pointed to it either)

Walter Weyl “the new democracy” 1873-1919 page 166 :

Nor do all these revolutionists comprehend that they are allies.

One group in the community strives to end the exploitation of child labor.

Other groups seek to extend and improve education, to combat tuberculosis, to reform housing conditions, to secure direct primaries, to obtain the referendum, to punish force and fraud at the polls, to secure governmental inspection of foods, to regulate railroad rates, to limit the issue of stocks and bonds of corporations doing an interstate business, to change the character and incidence of taxation, to protect and recreate our forests, to reserve and conserve our mines, to improve the lot of the farmer, to build up trade-unions among workingmen, to Americanize incoming immigrants, to humanize prisons and penal laws, to protect the community against penury caused by old age, accident, sickness, and invalidity, to prevent congestion in cities, to divert to the public a larger share of the unearned increment, to accomplish a thousand other results for the general welfare.

Every day new projects are launched for political, industrial, and social amelioration, and below the level of the present lie the greater projects of the future. Reform is piecemeal and yet rapid. It is carried along divergent lines by people holding separate interests, and yet it moves towards a common end. It combines into a general movement toward a new democracy.

see where diversity is your strength comes from

let me know how ya gonna dent that when you dont even know it goes THAT FAR BACK?

you guys forgot The Manufacturing of Consent

all these news people are from the modern progressive lipmann school
and how far back does THAT GO?

my next post, showing that who to target, who to afffect, and all that was all from the same time as the soviet reveloution by people here who wanted the same or were part of all of it… just read them

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

by the way, you mayh like the origins i put up.
african american – hypenism goes back to dewey in 1916 and nationalization of the schools which was done at gun point (we forgot)

or se puede – ceasar chavez, who did not want illegal aliens as it harmed the poor spanish he fought to help in america… ie. chavez was not international.. he even had people drive into the desert to beat up illegals so they would stop coming to the US and lowering the salaries..

if you dont know the pedigree of thought, and its provenance
all your doing is making up a better cover story than the liars can make up

and let me know if i should answer the questions
seems like no one cares for the reasons other papers explain that also are unheard
what was said at the beer halls that caused the fights, what did they learn in response, and what did they do about it that allowed them to rise up and be voted in and not have any of that harm their political futures?
i said i would tell you who it was, what they said, where it was first published, and what paper here in the US made sure we all knew it but forgot it.. and its key.

2. I almost never watch MSM stuff, so that was quite entertaining.

Observation:
Van Jones says, “Trump may be in trouble here.”

How temperate of him. I’ve heard several second hand quotes of his that all seem to be at least somewhat reasoned. And he is the self-professed communist?

Is this a case of the left-wing extremist not wanting to sound like a left-wing extremist?

3. This compilation is an enormous, steaming, dump truck load of scheiss, and every one of the people pictured in this video should hide their heads in shame.

A hilarious compilation of group think, paucity of thought and vocabulary, malpractice, dereliction of duty, and magical thinking by the Left i.e. the MSM; they think that wishing fervently for, saying something is true makes it true—magically makes it happen—and, unfortunately, it doesn’t.

Talk about a brainless, lock-step, echo chamber; might as well set up a couple hundred identical bobble heads, and flick each head into motion, so they can all nod– exactly alike–and in synchronization with each other.

Is there any realistic, rigorous, objective, fact-based, actual analysis there? I don’t see any.

Looks like we’ve already had the Zombie Apocalypse.

Happy Halloween.

4. Part 1 for length

I said a long time ago, how do you know your opinion is what it is, if you cant measure what the TV and such is doing. i said they play games, i even wrote a long thing on themechanics of how to do it yourself… crickets…

[ASIDE: soviet story will be on this weekend on blaze… i would highly recommend it, as it will give you tons of stuff that will blow your mind that you didnt know or you thought you knew. i dont watch the blaze and am glad i saw it in the village… but its the only place you can see it other than youtube if lucky… i dont botehr to link as it wastes my time finding things for nothing]

That the manufacture of consent is capable of great refinements no one, I think, denies. The process by which public opinions arise is certainly no less intricate than it has appeared in these pages, and the opportunities for manipulation open to anyone who understands the process are plain enough.

but i guess knowing how the magic is done isnot as fun as watching it
but in this case, you fail, we get ovens again… camps… and more
as they are a foundational requirement on some level..
and they can only come after the feminists self exterminate enough of the leading poplatio and consercvatives that oppose socialism, and act out waht the racialists are saying now… but dont have enough numbers yet to go that way…

Yet

Journalism, what they think about you, and the manufacturing of consent </b

its what the video is about… showing how they are MANUFACTURING CONSENT
using all the tricks and things they learned by watching and studying history and seeing what happend, and how to move that… and doin gso that the people who are in it, cant tell and wont listen to anyone who was in it someplace else and can teach them…
that would allow them an out and be saved in some way

And finally since opinions do not stop at the normal members of society, since for the purposes of an election, a propaganda, a following, numbers constitute power, the quality of attention is still further depressed.

The mass of absolutely illiterate, of feeble-minded, grossly neurotic, undernourished and frustrated individuals, is very considerable, much more considerable there is reason to think than we generally suppose.

Thus a wide popular appeal is circulated among persons who are mentally children or barbarians, people whose lives are a morass of entanglements, people whose vitality is exhausted, shut-in people, and people whose experience has comprehended no factor in the problem under discussion.

The stream of public opinion is stopped by them in little eddies of misunderstanding, where it is discolored with prejudice and far fetched analogy.

Public Opinion – By Walter Lippmann

another free book none will read cause i put it up

DO note how he gets to exclude himself and journalists as the “Normal members of society” – and not the wackos, crazies and such that if you mobilize you have more power than the reasoned

did you really think the reasoned voted in hitler (other thanthose with a place in it)
did you really think that smart venezuelans would vote FOR Chavez?

thats silly (but in the absence of other knowlege what do you believe?)

5. Part 2 for length

even in germany, you had to first get rid of the conservative men who would negate their wives votes (yes they had the vote before the USA), and the young lads too.. they died in WWI so the state and the society was suddenly changed from a parity of sexes to one sex existed more and the biological outcome of that became apparant.
when there are too few men, and too many women – i will leave you to read the science of it and what ahppens and what choices are made… after all, herr wacko was promissing these women with children and houses and no men, help from the state..

oh, for fun, and for this, here is why i am not listened to here, and neo is
and why these news people are listened to and more..
we are trained to it

The established leaders of any organization have great natural advantages.

so the soviets like willi started publishing houses, movie studios, charities, went after the famous for cache, and more.. read about willi and read how it works..

its not natural, its just they were smarter than you and taught you to be blind

to interpret what you see the wrong way with the clipped informaiton you have so all you can do is either spend lots of time searching, or forced to imagine some chain of natural events to explain it. to see it in marxist terms without knowint your seeing it that way. why else use soviet left or right despite tehre is no left or right in the american system prior to changing to the soviet one without realizing it, through a million tiny cuts and steps

without knowing that the game is passive agressive insertion of ideas and fomenting them so they appear natural, you mayh not ever know they are not natural and not your ideas…

without that video would you know that that much information and messaging is being directed at you? i said it was, i also said camera angle, timing, and more come into it, but alas, pish tosh on that… because to accept that answer is to unhook and unmoor someone from the reality they thought was real and set them adrift with no anchor… funny thing is that they are already adrift, but dont know it, they just think otherwise and FEEL SAFE but arent

willi said. never let them know these ideas are not theirs

didnt you GET that? or the implications? or did your ego protect you and sayh not me, in the absence of education to confirm it? the worst thing for me is i know all this and more, and when i hear you talk i shudder to think what the other high educated people who WANT This horror think about you…

They are believed to have better sources of information. The books and papers are in their offices. They took part in the important conferences. They met the important people. They have responsibility. It is, therefore, easier for them to secure attention and to speak in a convincing tone. But also they have a very great deal of control over the access to the facts.

Every official is in some degree a censor. [INCLUDIONG NEO!!]

And since no one can suppress information, either by concealing it or forgetting to mention it, without some notion of what he wishes the public to know, every leader is in some degree a propagandist.

Strategically placed, and compelled often to choose even at the best between the equally cogent though conflicting ideals of safety for the institution, and candor to his public, the official finds himself deciding more and more consciously what facts, in what setting, in what guise he shall permit the public to know.

6. We live in two worlds that seem to coincide but do not. People on each side are watching a different movie. Joel Kotkin recognized it.

In a way not seen since the Gilded Age of the late nineteenth century, America is becoming a nation of increasingly sharply divided classes. Joel Kotkin’s The New Class Conflict breaks down these new divisions for the first time, focusing on the ascendancy of two classes: the Tech Oligarchy, based in Silicon Valley; and the Clerisy, which includes much of the nation’s policy, media, and academic elites.

The New Class Conflict is written largely from the point of view of those who are, to date, the losers in this class conflict: the middle class. This group, which Kotkin calls the Yeomanry, has been the traditional bulwark of American society, politics, and economy. Yet under pressure from the ascendant Oligarchs and ever more powerful Clerisy, their prospects have diminished the American dream of class mobility that has animated its history and sustained its global appeal.

I’m listening to “The Revolt of the Elites” in the car.

7. That was hilarious. Much thanks to those who compiled it. I don’t watch TV, so this was a first time for me. However, its showing the media to be full of partisan idiots pushing the same narrative wasn’t news to me.

While the media may not be the enemy of the people, this compilation shows that the media is my enemy, and Trump’s enemy. Objective media? In a pig’s eye.

I hope this gets a very wide viewing. I would be interested to find out how the other side of the aisle reacts to viewing it.

8. What is sad is that it’s obvious these people would love to see our country destroyed, as long as Trump gets blamed for it.

9. “A hilarious compilation of….”

…well, actually, total and utter insanity.

Which makes it, at the end of the day a whole lot less hilarious…. (Though a truly masterful “Best of”, for which, kudos…and thanks!)

So that one may chortle in absolute astonishment and disbelief (with generous doses of absolute pleasure); but chortle at one’s own risk….

As for “bombshell”…they’re looking for bombshell? Let’s give ’em bombshell:

And a bonus:

Ah heck: here’s the whole kit ‘n kaboodle:

10. Never have so many been so well paid to be utterly disconnected from reality…

11. I was on the train home today and a (black) man was beaten by two (Hispanics) guys for yelling continuously “Thank G_d for Donald Trump!” as he exited the train after a few stops. The man said and did other things that disturbed other train riders. I’m surprised that these two guys who attacked him didn’t realize he was either mentally ill and/or was on drugs.

The fight took place on the platform, two verse one, while the train passengers peaked their heads out of the door to see the fight. Eventually it was stopped by a city’s transportation employee who heard the ruckus. The two men who attacked the man re-entered the train. Another man said that he couldn’t believe he hated his fellow “brown people.” They were clearly mad at what he said, with a woman stating that they shouldn’t have harmed him because “we’re already divided.”

Now the disturbed man never actually touched the two guys who assaulted him; he simply had a belligerent attitude towards everyone around him – the worst was that he threatened to knock a guys glasses off and jump him if he got off.

So you don’t have to wear a Trump hat to be target. All you have to do is to proclaim Trump in a positive light to put an X on your back. All of this happened in a liberal city filled with “enlightened” people.

12. Journolist indeed!

Brilliant. But who made it? I can’t figure it out from the links, unless I’m missing something. Whoever it is should get the credit.

13. And that’s why they are the Fake News.

How smart was Trump to coin and use that term?

14. Want to see some real reporting, and some real truth?

Take a look at O’Keefe’s Project Veritas’ latest and most devastating undercover video, this one about Democrat candidate for Governor of Florida Gillum, and about how one of Gillum’s key campaign staffers (and I presume Gillum and his campaign in general) thinks and says, in private, that “Florida is a f’ed up cracker state.”

A Florida in which Gillum has to lie about his far Left political philosophy and agenda, and offer voters programs that he knows have no chance of being enacted, but which have a good chance of getting him elected, after which he will put into place the programs of his real, Far Left agenda

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/10/okeefe-strikes-again-gillum-campaign-admits-they-have-to-lie-about-who-they-are-florida-is-a-fcked-up-cracker-state-video/

15. “I was privileged to have a private 15 or 20 minutes with the family,” Myers said. “The president was very warm, very consoling, put his hand on my shoulder, and the first question he asked me was, ‘Rabbi, tell me how are you doing.’ I must say throughout the time we spent together, I was pleasantly surprised by a warm and personal side to the president that I don’t think America has ever seen.”

Funny, but the few times i have met him and or family members they are all that way
on the other hand, i have also met the Clintons and cant say that
i CAN say that Patty Hearsts daughter is also very nice…

[sarcasm]but why oh why would ANYONE care to think actual meeting matters – its only experience and experience we are taught is to be ignroed, otherwise, everyone without it has a harder time participating[/sarcasm]

16. [NOTE: Also, I put a link on the word “it’s” in the title of the post, but for some reason it’s not showing up in a different color, although it works.]
