BLEXIT debut: Candace Owens and Kanye West make a fashion statement — 11 Comments

  1. If you can imagine it, it probably already exists on the web. From the urban thesaurus for synonyms of “cool”, a very small selection:

bitchin sick kewl kickass tight solid da bomb off-the-hook killer killa rad badass phat phatt phresh slammin hella cool hella good gnar dope iight.

I’m guessing the last one is an Ebonics contraction for “all-right.”

  2. What does the X-man stand for? I’m even less cool and with-it than our hostess.

  3. I think that the Left/Democrats are terrified of the new black voices—here and there—that are emerging, who are not only thinking for themselves, but who are also very publicly urging blacks to break their ideological chains, and to run away from the Democrat plantation.

In the face of the stark reality of the black community today—high rates of violence, criminally, and incarceration, massive numbers of both abortions (thanks to one of the Democrat’s favorite organizations, Planned Parenthood) coupled with sky high out of wedlock births, broken, one parent families, failing schools, the Left’s/Hollywood’s glorification the “Thug life” in Rap videos, and the generally deplorable conditions in the inner city ghettos, in cities that have been run by Democratic Administrations for many decades—five decades or more in some cases.

In light of all this empirical, on the ground evidence, it’s pretty hard to argue that Democrat policies have been beneficial for the black community.

Democrats and Democrat “Leaders”—who, very often, don’t live in the poor neighborhoods they supposedly “champion”—come around at voting time, and talk about how they are going to “help the Black community,” they get almost 100% of the Black vote, then, they disappear until the next election cycle, and nothing gets any better, in fact, things just stay the same, or even get worse.

In response, there’s an emerging, apparently growing “the Emperor has no clothes” moment/movement.

Thus, the almost hysterical efforts of the Left/Democrats/the MSM to explain away, marginalize, and destroy these emerging black dissidents, these “runaway slaves.”

For instance, take a look at the growing number of #Walkaway videos by Blacks, and, as well, take a look at this video, see http://elbertguillorysamerica.com/articles/Elbert-on-American-slavery

Looks like some people might have been listening to Mr. Trump’s campaign challenge, when he asked the majority-black-run-cities dwellers to vote for him, because, “What the hell do you have to lose?”

#Walkaway is amazing, I didn’t expect the number of black voters that leaped onboard, and I love Elbert Guillory – the country needs more people like him.

  5. @ Neo and Snow on Pine I’ve watching the Candice Owens phenomena since I saw her on Dave Rubin’s Sit Down You Tube talk show. She blew my socks off with her amazing intelligence and articulateness. She is quite as good looking as, say, Megan Kelly, and so much smarter it is embarrassing to compare the two. When Kayne tweeted “I love the way Candice Owens thinks” I saw just how vulnerable the Democratic narrative is. This is what many have called a preference cascade. The extreme example of the phenomena comes from when the citizens in a totalitarian regime suddenly discover that most of them hate the regime. The fall of communism happened in Romania this way. The problem in the identity politics population in the US is less extreme, but the Democrats have owned the Black vote since FDR and tried to extend that ownership to Hispanics voters. Victor Davis Hanson reports that about half of his wife’s class of Hispanic kids in the Central Vally in 2016 put their hands up as from Trump voting households. Those kind of people are not SJW fantasists and can assess for themselves the higher rates of Hispanic employment and the likely results of The Caravan. However the House turns out there may well be some real surprises in store for the pollsters. I think by 2020 this trend among Black and Hispanic voters may be the end of everything. There is a Jacksonian streak among Black voters in particular that liberal/left northerners just don’t see. Check out Candice Owens YouTube interview with Gadd Saad and pay particular attention to what she says about men. This is deeper than race. She seems to have figured out what Camille Paglia has in her early 20s.

  6. Blacks can Blexit if they want but the real step is to make sure neither party takes you for granted. I happen to think that blacks would make good republicans – if – if they became the original kinds of republicans. But to do good for themselves they do not need to become republicans, they merely need the democrats to know that they cannot taken for granted any longer. Talk about the worst of both worlds that it is now . . . blacks are taken for granted so nothing has to be done for them by democrats in order to get their votes.

  7. In my comment above, I mentioned the massive number of abortions in the black community.

From what I’ve read, Planned Parenthood (PP) has very deliberately placed many of their facilities in poor black neighborhoods.

I knew virtually noting about PP’s founder, Eugenicist Margaret Sanger—who Hillary recently praised as some sort of progressive heroine—but I recently came across some of Sanger’ s writings and statements and, by her own admission, Sanger wrote that she wanted to create a race of “thoroughbreds,” and that meant that she had to eliminate what she viewed as inferior blacks from the gene pool.

One would think that quotes like the horrific Sanger quote below would be very widely known, but apparently the MSM has somehow never gotten around to widely reporting or calling attention to this and other Sanger writings and quotes.

See, for instance, the Sanger quote, “We don’t want to let the word go out that we want to exterminate the negro population.”

Sanger also once addressed a meeting of a New Jersey women’s auxiliary of the KKK, see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1294086/posts

    What a gal!

  8. Snow on Pine, I interpreted Hillary’s sarcastic crack, “yeah, I know, they all look alike,” as a put-down of an inept reporter. As such, I rather liked Hillary’s crack.

Yes, had the Donald made the same crack to a reporter who confused Erik Holder with Corey Booker, there would have been an outcry of outrage- though not from me.

  9. @Snow on Pine – Northampton Massachusetts – the scene of Jonathan Edwards Hellfire and Damnation sermon “Sinners in the hands of an Angry God”. These days I imagine an Old Testament Trump dangling the politically correct on a thread over the jaws of Hell. 😉
