Tomorrow I’m planning on posting that Flight 93 discussion — 14 Comments

  1. “I’ve got my piece on that viral Flight 93 essay half written …”

Viral? Didn’t know it had caused such a stir. Read it by backing into that site for another posting.

Looks like it caused a real sh**storm for having been posted in such an out of the way spot.

  2. It does sound like your addiction to draft posts started out something like my relationship with pressure cookers. I never meant to become addicted. I just started with one, then another, and got up to nine. I’m tapering off, though, down to five.

  3. neo,

It is going viral on the left side too. The daft morons at crookedtimber have taken the bait.

Your writing is excellent. And I appreciate it as much when I disagree. Maybe even more so then.

    Please keep blogging!

Looks like it caused a real sh**storm for having been posted in such an out of the way spot.

Out of the way is where it would have remained, had not Trump supporters kept spamming links to it all over the internet.

  5. Obama, enabled by Democrats, and by weak and cowardly Republicans, fearful of a hostile press endangering their government issue rice-bowls have brought us to this state of affairs so aptly described by Gowdy.

A state of affairs where Hillary’s crew refuses to testify before Congress; a state of affairs wherein Lois Lerner successfully shrugs and takes the Fifth to evade consequences for her crimes in office. A state of affairs where the President ignores the law, and fabricates the flimsiest pretexts for undermining the rule of law, and the FBI director edits the materials Congress demands of him.

This is a state of affairs wherein, if the present polity and our common association were worth respecting or preserving – as it presently is not – Lerner would have already been be tried, and if found guilty, sent to spend the rest of her worthless life in prison.

But she is free; and the law, and the assumption that our civil association is worth preserving as it now stands, is revealed as the joke it has become.

But “reasonable”, get-along, preserve the movement conservatives, fear Trump more than the lawless Obama and Hillary.

What they fear is their own creation; for they created him by cooperating in manufacturing the amoral environment that spawned him.

Preserve conservatism by losing now, in order to fight another day?

Puling rice-bowl Republicans … Don’t make me laugh.
