  1. Idea for show: Indoctrination at universities. Recent stories at U of Delaware and U of Maine. There’s also a documentary out there called “Indoctrinate U”

One professor at U Delaware actually use the term “brainwashing” about their program.

“”It’s straight-out indoctrination,” said Linda Gottfredson, an education professor who looked into the program after her Honors Program students grumbled about it.
Another education professor, Jan Blits, president of the Delaware Association of Scholars, labeled the program “political propaganda and brain-washing.””

At U of Maine a professor allegedly offered extra credit for burning a flag:

The guy at Maine appears to be a Marxist, but this isn’t mentioned anywhere else-

this is from a review of his book The Method Is the Message: Rethinking McLuhan Through Critical Theory

“As the term critical theory in the title implies, Grosswiler is primarily concerned with differences and definitions within Marxist thought, the area from which the concept of technological determinism arose and the body of thought for which the author himself seems to have the most sympathy and respect.”

  2. The Supreme Court was thinking about repealing Mushareef’s election legitimacy. M had two choices. Either he could allow the SC to weaken M’s rule and provide the Jihadists an excuse as well as a power base to get rid of M, if M doesn’t abdicate. OR… he can neutralize the Supreme Court because the Supreme Court, by advocating “liberty”, is only furthering chaos.

The example of the Shah, Neo, is very good. The Shah tried to appease Western sentiments, like Chris White’s, and he lost too much power because of such attempts at appeasement. The Western world then said “you ain’t getting no support from us, you dictator”.

The so called “moderate democrats” are not really defenders of democracy and civil rights, Neo. So all those complainers about Mushie repealing civil rights and liberty? Those frackers complaining are the enemies of civil rights and liberty!

Mushie has the same problem as Roman Emperors that were chosen by the Praetorian Guard. If the Emperors try to do things their way, against the legions, problems will result.

To Dr. Sanity: Support? There is no support from the moderate pro democracy boyos. They have no military power; they are sheep to the slaughter.

  3. It is better to be feared than love.

Bush chose the soft approach, Neo. Bush did not declare martial law in New Orleans. The expected happened. Pakistan has a little larger pot of stakes, Neo.

The Lincoln comparison is not a good one for propaganda purposes. There just isn’t any slavery connection, which is what most people consider Lincoln as being.

Mushie could shoot himself in the foot, Sanity, or he could committ suicide like the Shah did.
